If the rumours are true about the time length (then again someone mentioned they rushed it, but then again how much content value is there in those parts that may be hubs) then I don't want to pay what will most likely be 40 dollars (Canadian here... eyy) for such a short game when S1 had half the price and was much longer and filled with content to enjoy (if those prices were switched then it would make more sense). A bit of a rip off if you ask me. I'll just wait till it's half priced if the episodes do end up short. I want something that's my money's worth with a reasonable price (sure I may enjoy even if it was short, but I won't buy it if I find the price too high for what it's worth).

That sounds like your save might have been uploaded to Playstation's cloud because of Playstation Plus.
To upload your save for Season 3 you need to open up Season 2, then go to your saves, then press SQUARE on your save to upload it to Telltale's cloud. That save should bring both your S1 and S2 choices over.
So my save file apparently uploaded last time I turned on my ps3. Is that how it's supposed to work? Don't need the game loaded it just cloud saves automatically with the new update?

It felt like it was taking forever. Now that they revealed I won't be getting it on PS3, it's coming way too quickly for me. It's almost here and I can't get it.
In the US, at least, I've seen all 3 current season on sale for as low as about $2 USD, give or take a few cents. You might want to hold off until New Frontier drops to that price.

In the case of the format Telltale use I would say that it's not such a black/white concept. You simply need time to create proper narrative pacing. It doesn't matter if your characters are the most interesting and well acted in the world if you don't give them enough time to show it.

It's hard to say "quality over quantity" when he records show that quantity = quality.
But, I will not judge the game by its length before it releases. I just get why people are a little startled by the news.
