As for number 7, there are plenty of light-skinned fully black people and dark-skinned Hispanics. Trust me. I'm black and am from the DC M… moreetropolitan area; arguably the most diverse area in the US. I've seen all types of ethnic backgrounds. TellTale has already conformed Clem is black; no other race or biracial information was given. This same issue happened in Tales From The Borderlands when TellTale's staff confirmed the Fiona was a person of color. Let's just accept it.
Not every black person is brown. Not every Hispanic is tan. Welcome to the skin kaleidoscope known as the human race.

If AJ died, I think that would be the nail in the coffin for Clem. It would utterly destroy her. I can imagine those sick Capricorn fucks might try some shit on Clem, which could also do some psychological damage.
What I don't think she can get any more mentally scarred than she's already been. (But maybe AJ's death would have a deep impact especially … morenow that she's been with him for such a long time) But I'm kind of scared about the physical scars thing. That can happen. (Not mentioning the missing finger) I suspect that there is going to be a war between Capricorn guys and team Clem. That may leave some scars.
Perhaps he was sheltered in an enclosed society (akin to Wellington) with his family ever since the start of the apocalypse, and only knows how to survive in an urban setting; whereas Clem seems to be extremely accustomed to surviving in any setting.
I believe you've reached the correct answer!
Molly was very capable from what we saw, but that was strictly Savannah; would she really be any good at tending a fire, hunting small animals, lifting shelter out of nothing and purifying water?
Clem might be acting so dominant around Javier because he's a novice at solo survival and he feels like extra baggage to her. Perhaps he was… more sheltered in an enclosed society (akin to Wellington) with his family ever since the start of the apocalypse, and only knows how to survive in an urban setting; whereas Clem seems to be extremely accustomed to surviving in any setting...
Just a theory. It's more likely that Clementine just is very wary of Javier at first... But I highly doubt she'll be bitchy or anything.
We also have to remember that Clementine is very independent and always has done things herself. I'd imagine she has trouble working as a team.

* SAME
* Oh shit
* Aw yis
* Agreed
* Looks like a makeshift one, yeah. Can't expect a nice one in the apocalypse.
* There isn't one hig… moreh enough, either.
* Because Clementine isn't completely black and Javier IS completely Hispanic.
* Poor boy. Genes fucked 'em over.
* They're probably gonna have a strained relationship, which makes for a good story most of the time. Javier might be naive to how shit works in the outbreak.
* Again, it's the apocalypse. They're buildings that have been unkempt for four years.
* Eh, I'm not complaining.
* That's how hair growth works for some people.
* Ah, the burdens of amputation.
I knew something good had to be in store when I returned home to see over 100 new comments in this thread.
First of all, the graphics look amazing in that screenshot. The shadows add a lot of depth.
Javier looks pretty upset and Clementine looks extremely irritated with some teen flair thrown in, so that should be interesting. I think that their relationship will be a good one. Yeah, they likely won't start out as best friends. They'll probably just be going along, only putting up with one another to achieve a common goal. Then they'll bond and Javier will NEED Clementine. Him beginning to rely on Clementine emotionally will no doubt be one of the highlights of this season for me. In-game friendships are kind of my weakness, and this one seems like it will be really touching.
The moment you realise how proud Lee and Clem's parents would be to see (from heaven) Clem turned out capable enough to look after herself and the baby.
Im Really excited for Clem and Aj relationship. I just can't wait to see how Clem deals with him. Is she bossy with him? (Like not putting up with his whining) Or is she caring ( like telling him bedtime stories or trying to make jokes to keep him happy) idk...

Sarcasm aside, I am really excited too! I have to agree with you, I don't think I've ever anticipated a game as much as this one! It just seems captivating,for some reason.
I'm expecting some serious feels in the final episode though.

Wait, What if those walls are Wellington and maybe Clem is out scavenging, until she comes across Javier and this is Javier asking her for her help to find the people who killed or maybe kidnapped his family? But Clem is refusing to initially help.

That's an interesting possibility. There will be tension and hostility in their relationship at first, but I think they will ease into one another as time goes on.

Oh yes. You've made some great points. Clem may feel very sad if that happens and if she feels like she failed in her duty it would be a very emotional scene. I would love to see that but not at the cost of AJ's life.

I'm assuming that this part is the very beginning of Episode 1, so they're still up north, something happens which causes Clem and Javier to head to Virginia.
They're near the Appalachian mountains if they're in east Virginia; Blue Ridge mountains if west. I live in North Carolina, so seeing familiar places in TWD makes me excited.
Well to be honest I don't feel connected to AJ Jr. that much. Although I expect TellTale to form a connection between us(Clem and Javier) and AJ Jr.
I also think that Clem losing the ring finger on her left hand symbolizes that she doesn't trust anyone enough to love them anymore. So I don't expect her to have a love interest. I do expect Clem to raise AJ the same way Lee raised her.

It would be a turning point for Clem's character. She has raised this child since the second he was born, and to have him die in such a horrific way, it would cause Clem to question her worth, if she could be around anyone ever again, fearing that she would create a strong emotional attachment, only for that person to die.

The screenshots we've seen of Javi show him in a very run down but populated city. That's why I definitely think he's a city man, and not an outdoor survivalist like Clem.

That's why I think they will announce a release date around that time. Or they can do like The Walking Dead Season 2 and advertise the game in the commercial breaks of the episode. Maybe even show a release date during the commercials. I hope I'm not just hopefully wishing lol

Clem be like: "I don't have to listen to this bullshit"
I hope someone finds a slightly better quality version of the photo. It'd make a good laptop background.
Well if that happens then those Capricorn guys better watch their ass. That's all I'm gonna say...
Yes she is, both her parents are black....
I CANNOT WITH THE EXCITEMENT!!
I am fangirling so hard!

If that happens, those fuckers are dead. Gone. No fucking mercy. Don't touch my little girl, or you will face my wrath.

I agree with both of you.
This is probably the most excited I've been for a game in a long time.
Yeah... It's going to have a sad ending... It's always going to have a sad ending.
Yes it will be really sweet. Clem and Javier Plus Clem and AJ relationship will be the highlight and it will be really touching.

That screenshot looks so awesome, are you sure it's real?
Now I'm even more excited. (Also... Clem's missing the finger...)
ME TOO!
I just know that Clem and Javier's friendship is going to be my favorite part of Season 3
It just dawns to me that Walking Dead Season 7 is coming out this sunday. At least we will get into Walking Dead mood before we get to play the game.

No, I'm pretty sure her mother isn't.

No they are in Virginia (if I'm correct ) and Wellington was ... Um well north.
I was thinking the same thing.
Her mother is Black as well. There are Black people that are light skinned.
She looks so confident with herself! I'm sobbing!
She's working the Luke pose lol

Maybe Clem meets Javier in Virginia?
Hahaha, I live in Virginia and it makes me happy to see the game is mainly going to take place in my home state.
After seeing that new screenshot...
I can't keep it in... I'm so excited!
I'm actually expecting new info this week, since a new screenshot was just released (possibly unintentionally haha)
Well remember in the beginning of Season 2 she has the option of telling Luke and Sarah that everyone around her dies.
Yeah I also believe that this is how Javier will come across Clementine, if you had the "Stay at Wellington" ending.
Me too! I'm in public rn, and trying my absolute hardest not to squeal out loud lol
