BOLD CHARACTER PREDICTIONS IN TWD SEASON 3

Clemenine, alongside Javiar and AJ are the only characters we know of so far in Season 3. However, I do believe that we are in for some surprises.

Here are my bold predictions for new characters and possible cameos and reunions in Season 3

  • Lee's ex-wife is alive and will be a central character in Season 3
  • Molly will return and be a central character in Season 3
  • As much as I hate to say this I don't think Christa's coming back
  • Mike and Arvo will return, and hopefully we can get a little payback
  • Lilly will be an antaganist in Season 3

What do you guys think? Post you're opinions or predictions down below

Oh look-- another thread about predicting returning character! All right, I'll bite.

    Expecting
    Lilly
    Sam
    Paige
    Jane

    Probably
    Christa
    Mike

    Would Love
    Adam
    Tavia
    Arvo

    Wouldn't mind
    Becca
    Danielle

    Certain Conditions
    Kenny
    "Sarah"
    Jaime

  • Sam and Paige...Rick Grimes

  • Doubtful Rick won't be leaving Alexandria anytime soon during the time skip so don't expect to see him. Sorry!

    Sam and Paige...Rick Grimes

  • Wouldn't Mind:
    Nobody.

    Doesn't Want:
    Everyone.

  • My first prediction though, I really do believe Lee's ex-wife is alive, and she will be an important character

  • Yes, let's focus on no new characters at all, and let's only focus on characters from seasons 1 and 2, because that makes total sense!

  • That's what I've been trying to tell you all!

  • And I translated it!

  • "Worked" for Season 2, didn't it?

  • Characters coming back after being missing/presumed dead is kind of a one trick pony to me. It was done well with Kenny and all.

If any of these characters listed return, then awesome, but I don't really want this season to thrive on returns of people.

  • I can kinda see Mike possibly returning, considering they did remove the whole scene where you could kill him.

    I do hope that happens...

But it's kind of sad that she left lived and Lee didn't. (Because she was... Not a good wife)

  • I loved it that Kenny was in Season 2.

If it's done right, I don't see what's wrong with returning characters.

  • I want it to focus on new characters, too.

    Not just Clem and Kenny/Jane.

  • Well, of course it will have new characters.

But I also want some returning ones. Mainly Lilly and Lee's wife. (I know it wouldn't be returning for her, since she was never in the game)

  • Okay... I worded that all wrong, let me try again.

I just meant because Lee died 4 months into the apocalypse and if she lived 5 years into it... Don't you think...?

Y'know what? I forgot where I was going with this... :|

  • My predictions:

AJ will continue to be a fairly uninteresting emotional centerpiece and serve little to define the story in any resonant way.

  • Mark died, you can see him as a walker at the end of S1E2

  • I hope seeing Lilly's or/and Molly's return... Mike and Arvo, well, I don't care about them. If they return, I will kill them, if they don't, I will forget about them.
And seeing Lee's ex-wife (mabe as an antagonist) would be AWESOME.

  • Can I be honest here? I thought the thread was gonna be about just new characters when I saw the title.

I personally think that Hector and Kate, the two leaked characters so far on IMDb, are the names of Javier's siblings.

    • they are the only new characters besides Javi shown thus far
    • if they haven't been removed by now out of being important future characters or just being fake, then they are the safest bets for Telltale-allowed reveals
  • I don't think so, if she is a character it would be amazing. I would rather see her as a protaganist and central character, I would really like to know about her side of the relationship she had with Lee

Agreed. I'd rather she be more of a side thing, but agreed.

When Lee speaks with the Stranger at the end of Season 1, Lee said that his wife traveled for work and that he wanted children and a family. This was probably the root of their problems. Lee didn't approve of his wife's job because she had to travel and he wanted a family which no doubt led to arguing. But, what I don't understand is why would Lee's ex-wife go so far to have the audicity to cheat on him with another guy. So, what I want to know is if Lee's ex-wife was just pissed at him, is there something else to the relationship we don't know about that maybe Lee did or maybe is there something Lee's ex-wife knew, but Lee didn't? In addition to this, no matter what dialogue you chose in season 1, it seems that Lee clearly blames himself and doesn't really blame his wife for doing what she did. Yes, Lee killed the guy, but he never seemed to hold any grudges or anger against his wife. He pretty much put all of the blame on himself.

Huh. I remember the topic of having kids of his own coming up, but I didn't immediately recall the rest of that. Thanks for the explanation.

The usual line of thinking when the topic of cheating comes up is that the infidel was looking for something they weren't getting out of the existing relationship. Perhaps Lee's upstanding stature as a college professor wasn't good enough in her eyes and the late Senator, as an official of power, was able to appeal to that void? You mentioned that she traveled for work, which is the perfect convenience for the Senator to win her over by using her personal issues with Lee as a way to move ball into his court.

Understandable. Lee seemed to be the type of guy to take responsibility for the mistakes, flaws, and misdeeds of those close to him.

  • Honestly I don't think we'll see Mike, Arvo, or any of the past characters besides confirmed ones. We might get references, but I think it'll stay at that. TTG seems to want this to be a new beginning for their TWD series. As much as I prefer to stick with and continue Clementine's story, I don't want to see anymore returning characters besides Kenny/Jane; heck I don't even want AJ because I think babies and pets in adventures like this are a liability. I would like the chance to kill Mike and Arvo, but I really hate Russian antagonists (due to the overuse & stereotype). I'm willing to settle on the fact that sometimes you don't get revenge. People do messed up things to you, and you have to move on and learn from it. Prevent it from ever happening again. I just want Kenny/Jane to survive. We don't need to kill them off just to have them out of the story, or break our hearts. I want this season to be about survival. This time around, I want any character I saved to NOT be marked for death.

  • What else can be expected of a toddler?

My predictions: AJ will continue to be a fairly uninteresting emotional centerpiece and serve little to define the story in any resonant way.

  • A decently interesting emotional centerpiece and to serve lots to define the story in any resonant way.

What else can be expected of a toddler?

  • 0%: Ben

    Well, yeah.

He either breaks his back and gets eaten or gets impaled by a metal spike... I don't think he's coming back.

  • A female hardened scavenger who has a dead sister

An overly aggressive white male villain

A couple; An at first distrustful pregnant woman who later warms up to you and a likeable nice guy

    Kenny

  • Luke has to show up because when he was pulled by the zombie he had a knife so he can survive thats why luke could show up in seasen 3

  • I think that guy with clem in the trailer is a gang guy but he choose to help clem and as i saw the zombie with the same mark on that guys neck i can say they kidnapped aj junior and wants to talk her to their hideout to save aj or maybe to save jane

  • It will be amazing if lee and michonnie show up

  • Mike and arvo and bony will definitely show up

  • And i think they will be a members of that gang

I said "maybe as a antagonist". It could be a neutral or a good character, I don't really care. Either way, it would be awesome to see her...
But if it happens, I will think that the world is really small (Lee and his wife lived in South Georgia, now the Season 3 is in Virginia. How Lee's ex-wife would end up here?)

EDIT: I found why she possibly can be in Virginia... Look a few comments down.
