Good, it means her character is actually developing into something very parallel to the cruel and harsh environments she has around her rather than say, letting stupid people do stupid things in a stupid plot, stupidly.
I want my perceptions of Clementine to change in drastic ways and I want a character that actually shows progression and not just her calling back things to the first game like what was customary in season 2's dialogue.
you can speak for yourself, but even in a world like that, thats still no reason to be evil, and I dont understand this whole lets get a evil clem, do you understand that in a zombie apoclaypse you need freinds people you can trust. you wont be able to just survive on your own. so no clem doesent need to be evil especially when she has Aj to think about. And im not on this hate the baby bandwagon either.
After the events of seasons 1 and 2, I'd think any one of us would start developing very villainous traits.
It's not so much a matter of what you prefer, it's the fact she's been living in a hell-scape for years without a break.
I never said an "evil Clem," I simply stated that consequences of the mortifying events Clementine has endured would, not might, would change someone's perspective drastically and may even push them to doing less-than-comforting things to ensure those same things she's seen won't happen to her.

Well, if shit branches over well enough in Season 3, then Clementine's attitude when you're playing as Javier would ultimately fall to you.
Maybe her seeing Danny St. John getting stabbed with pitchfork, Andy getting kicked into the fence, or anything fucked up Lee did in front of Clementine could carry over.
Your actions in Season 2 could possibly effect it as well. How you went about things decides how she is, maybe?
I would have loved to have seen Lee become a villain. Something like Clem dies, Lee blames himself and goes on a tyrant, constantly sees Clem which keeps infuriating him and would eventually find a girl alone in the woods which he has to look after and she slowly develops him back into sanity.

I don't know, just thought it'd be cool.
and from your profile pic I can assume your a kenny fan, and kenny is my second favorite charecter after lee , so your my brother from another mother most definitley. I hope we see kenny in season 3 #TEAMKENNY#
I would not worry...I took this new version of Clementine talk as she is older and two years has passed. Plus we do control things she says and does to a degree...so if she is an asshole...chances are...you had a hand in it. Now of course I am sure my Clementine will be the perfect Angel...so sweet she is sure to cause diabetic shock.

The Stranger was apparently meant to resemble an evil Lee: one who lost everything he cared about due to his mistakes and is now seeking any method he can to redeem himself now that he has nothing left.
Because of this parallel, I thought he was an excellent way to conclude the themes Season 1 were operating by.
To @megamike15
He made up for his mistakes by protacting Clementine, ain't that enough?
It's not like he was a seriel killer that did it just for fun, he got in a fight, and it didn't end well.
I don't feel like this statement is fair. She wasn't a playable character in the first season. She can not be like a scripted character in season 2. She is meant to be instead a reflection of the player or whatever the player wants her to be.
I think that the choice when you let Clem eat Mark will be the choice that causes Clem to lose her finger. Seeing that Mark didn't taste that bad, rather having A.J., she feeds A.J. a finger.

But this is all just wishful thinking.

well I dont want my clementine to be evil. So im hoping we still get the choice for her personality in season 3.
"Either you die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain."
well then I guess in clementine's case I would rather see her die a hero than become a villain, just like lee.

you do have a point with that, but overall I still want my clem to be a good person like she was in season 1 and season 2.
Fair enough.

you think Clem will be brutal like Kenny?

Children are the product of those who raise them....so yeah it could be.
kinda sounds like joel lol, but still even though I love clementine if i had the choice I would rather play as lee, because he had so much Potential .
A bit sad that there will be -a- new Clementine. I was hoping her personality would actually depend on your ending choices.
Shit. I knew that idea wasn't original lol. But yeah, I'm with on that one brother. As much as I love Clem, Lee tops her.

If Kenny's raising of Clementine is anything like it was for Duck, I feel awful for what's in store for her.
I'll be honest: this kinda screams "We done shot ourselves in the foot at some point."
lee was never a hero. killing a guy for sleeping with your wife fits you into anti hero no matter how much you want to atone.
Oh dear....
Btw, I think you replied to the wrong comment, dude

#MyClementine
hey kenny does regret never being able to spend time with duck. to bad that was before his mental brake down in season 2.
He did: it's called The Stranger. :P
I'm with you there, man!
Sorry, don't really get it. Mind explaining?

Could this be character development I sense?

Wrong poster, mate. megamike15
Did I reply to you?
Sorry about that.
S'cool.
For some reason I can't reply on mobile but thank you for clearing that up DabigRG. I never looked at the Stranger in that light.

I hope to god that this never happens.
I don't think Clementine will become a cannibal.
For some reason, I haven't been able to post on my computer...
That's putting it lightly.
Hopefully this "new version" means I get to curse. A lot.
Let it all out.
