Most Evil Character?

I'm interested to know which character people believe to be the worst in each installment of the franchise. Mine:

Comic: Tie (between The Governor and Thomas Richards)

Game: Danny St. John

Show: Gareth and The Termites

  • I don't watch/read any of that other shit, so I'll go by the games.

William "Bill" Carver is a major candidate, along with Danny St. John and possibly Vitali.

I'll have to get back to you on the absolute.

  • Waitaminute, THAT's the Governor?!

  • The one who has Michonne...yes. Way better in the show.

  • I thought he was, like, a bearded older man with an eyepatch?

The one who has Michonne...yes. Way better in the show.

  • He is not older than fourty.

Here is a fun fact, although it brings some spoilers for television show, comic series, and the series of novels that nobody knows but is canon to the comics anyway.

In the television series, the Governor is Philip Blake.

In the comic series, the Governor is Brian Blake, brother to Philip Blake; a while after the latter died, the former had an out-of-body experience and decided to adopt the character of his deceased brother.

The Governor, one of the Blake brothers, runs Woodbury.

  • Comics: Have only read the first five volumes, but so far I would agree with the OP and say it's a tie between Thomas and the Governor

    Show: Negan

Game: Tie between Carver and Danny St. John.

  • On television, the Governor adopts the name Brian after burning Woodbury.

  • Bonnie is a Monster.

I think everyone is overlooking this one major detail: Bonnie has a preexisting relationship with all of the 400 days group members. She spent about a month out in the woods and spent many months with them at Howes. And she followed though with a plan with the herd KNOWING THAT IT WOULD KILL ALL OF THEM. Bonnie never even reflected on that choice she just did it.BONNIE IS THE BIGGEST MONSTER IN THE WALKING DEAD UNIVERSE.

  • Clementine...cute adorable eight year old homicidal maniac that laughs at Lizzie. Her list of crimes.

    • casually mentioned to Duck how to start a tractor
    • unleashed a walker at the pharmacy to build sympathy and drive Larry to heart attack
    • Waited to find the cane for the door so that Carley and Doug would be too far to save both
    • lied about the walkie being broken
    • kept stealing people's rations
    • knew all along what the St.Johns were up to...said nothing
    • casually mentioned to Kenny that salt licks are nice and heavy
    • put a bug on Duck's pillow

    She is EVIL

  • Clem. She kills everyone who wants to have group with her

  • Don't forget the Walker trap she set up for Lee...

I'm sure a lot of future comments are gonna have Kenny in it lol. Anyway, these are mine:

    • Game: A tie between Carver and Arvo
    • Show: Gareth
    • Comics: Alpha
  • Zombies? What game have you been playing? They're called Walkers.

  • Arvo...?

The only bad thing he's done is shoot Clementine isn't it? (Yes, I know that's really bad, but others have done worse)

He did bring his group to Clem's, but it's obvious that he didn't want to fight them.

Yes. That's why he's the most evil.

Not in this world. And not just walkers, they are also called lurkers and undead.

  • Yeah, I have to say Carver wins that hands down.

In terms of the obvious deciding factor, Arvo may have finally worked up the nerve to shoot at Clementine and actually hit her, but Carver actually has killed numerous people and will not hesitate to shoot her dead if she's too slow.

    Except Carver was a pushover.

In Harms Way was excellent at making a seemingly oppressive environment ran by a so-called "ruthless tyrant" seem like afterschool detention, complete with Clem allowed to roam almost freely and work detail amounting to gossiping with a junkie for 10 minutes without any guards and an empty room with only a violent redneck who has proved he's dangerous to the expansion project, yet is still allowed in areas with minimal eyes.

And the fact Carver was almost single-handedly overtaken by a young child within the span of just over 48 hours makes him seem more like a royal fuck-up than an actually intimidating foe.

The two statements I've made are parallel. To agree with one statement would be to agree with both statements.

    IHW was a lame fart.

    Which other statement?

    Seconded.

  • By pointing out that this fart was lame, it is assumed that you are saying there are farts that are not lame; I'd like to know what those are.

  • Comic: The Governor is an obvious choice here, Thomas actually seemed like the type of murderer you'd come across in real life as well so that made him evil in my eyes but also pretty terrifying.

Also the Hunters who tried to cannibalise Dale and (if I recall correctly) admitted to eating their own children to survive, however desperate they were it doesn't change the fact they continued to kill and eat people to survive.

The marauders who tried to rape Carl and attack the group seemed pretty evil too me.

Alpha, attempted to abandon her humanity but this was ultimately just a front, regardless she still beheaded and killed a pregnant Rosita along with many other characters, allowed her daughter to be raped and killed someone just for seeing her crying.

Game: Danny St. John, the St. John's were as bad as each other but Danny was the worst in my eyes as he seemed to enjoy the violence and bloodshed and was just creepy all round, and it is implied he had pedophilic intentions in unused audio clips so yeah... Danny is my choice for the game.

TV Show: A tie between the Terminus people and Negan, because so far Negan seems a lot more despicable and evil than he does in the comics. It's going to be a challenge to make him likeable considering all he has done so far.
