AJ's Father
Hi there guys. Wow! It's been a long time since the last time I disturbed y'all. But I have some important points to you know... point out. I don't need to dig it in here to know that this already has been discussed but, yeah, with Season Three THIS close, I need to read through your opinions on who AJ's father might be, so what do you guys think? Carver? Alvin? Maybe someone has a brand new theory? Of course I want you all to support your answers, explain it to me. (Or just guess around, that's up to you).
Now about the TV Series... Glenn Rhee was (is) my favourite character, in the comics too. So I have to write about his recent death scene in the TV Show. The thing is, I couldn't be more satisfied with Glenn's story. I mean, I love everything about it (his death being my favourite moment) and that's because this is The Walking Dead so the characters are supposed to suffer, so is the audience, it's the bloody apocalypse, there is no perspective, there is no happily ever after. That said, that particular scene had me perplexed in a way that I STILL am, and I honestly don't know how someone can be so pleased AND sad as I am right now. Now when I watch the Show I think that Glenn will be there and that he will be fine at any moment. His death was perfect though, so, I would like to know what are your thoughts on this matter. Also, if possible, write something that will wake me up and bring me back to the survival game because right now I feel like I am dead, since Glenn was my solo representant in the TWD world.
No Hate, Your Mate.

Alvin.
I always thought he was Carver's.
Because I think Rebecca once said she and Alvin were trying so hard to have a baby, and it wasn't working.
He looks like him to me, oohh boy, so tricky...
Yeah, I remember something similar.
He looks like Alvin's to me.
I think its Alvins. But it would be much more interesting and cooler if it was Carvers. I dont blame telltale if they change him to carvers in s3.
I know right?
Better than a thousand words right?
Darth Vader duh!
Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm believe the baby's Daddy is Alvin. Would be crazy if we saw some Carver characteristics in Alvin at some point. Maybe when he's older, just to give us some doubt or dread.
Off topic but what's the point of typing "No Hate, Your Mate." In every comment?
The account @Chusets is held by twins, and they use either "No Hate, Your Mate" or "With Love, Lady Chusets" at the end of a comment to clarify who is writing.
I, uh, know about that.
Oh my god now that would be weird. I wonder what I'm gonna tell him about who his father is.
Thats.... weird....
Why not just open another account?
Their opinions are often the same.
Personally, I find it kind of fun.
Oh that's because I share this account with my evil twin sister. So when you see "No Hate, Your Mate." down in the comment it means it is my comment. But if you see "With Love, Lady Chusets." then it's her comment.
Yes, you gave the idea! Good to see you still around here Sleepy. Love your theories about Season Three by the way!
I'd like it to be Alvin's. Just so there can be something good out there.
Me too mate.
I am glad to see new posts under this username!
Yes but who is the mother...ponder that for awhile my pretties.
It's good to post again mate.
Wow... now that's a hell of a question!
You are, obviously.
Whether it's Alvin's or Carver's, I'm not sure Clementine is going to care or know but I think it might actually be Alvin's, although am I the only one who noticed how AJ's skin tone is different between Episode 4 and 5? xD
You mean that he actually has a skin tone in Episode 5? No, you are not the only one.
It doesn't matter whose it is...just like in the show...Rick confided that Judith was Shane's biological child...but Rick is her father...he has accepted her as his and that is all that matters.
Yeah I noticed that too, didn't care much though. Well I certainly wish he's Alvin's.
Agreed. Man that scene got me emotional. I know, to me Alvin will always be his father, but the thing is, what am I gonna tell him?
Seems like I'm the only one that thinks Carver is AJ's dad.
Do you mean him?
Well, AJ looks more like Alvin to me.
It would be interesting if he was Carver's, but far more interesting if he was Alvin's. I just think about a little boy questioning me around.
I sure do, thank you Mate.
I actually think it would be more interesting raising the child of an egotistical psychopath, trying to make sure he doesn't turn out the same way...
Nah, that's such a regular plot. What they can (and should) exploit here is the doubt itself. See, we can tell AJ the whole story, and then tell the boy that he is Carver's (or Alvin's, whatever we believe). Later in the story, AJ may confront Clem in a "How can you be sure?" way. The doubts about his very origins while living in such a hostile world is what gives AJ's story potential. Not to mention how AJ's conversations with Clem can mirror the whole Lee experience. There is also the whole children raising children thing. What I mean is, imagine a whole confusion about this matter, as Carver's behavior can be quite "usual" those days (if you don't take a close look at it of course) there is good potential for some really strong scenes and then, end of the day, Alvin's, Carver's, doesn't matter, he is just one more person who is affected by the world the way it is like everybody else in their world. AJ being Alvin's son is far more poethic though.
Though I would much prefer AJ to be Carver's, I say it's more likely to be Alvin's.
And this right here is not only one of the best things I've seen suggested for Season 3, but it gives me a reason to get invested in AJ.
Satan.
What with AJ's evil power to contort people who survived a massive global zombie apocalypse into whatever they were in No Going Back, it only makes sense to assume he's the new dark deity overlord.
But isn't it easier to have separated accounts?
Well, in episode 4, he looked...different (I'm trying to say it without sounding racist af).
And Rebecca said they tried so hard to have a kid, and it wouldn't work. And there was speculation that Carver had sex with Rebecca. So...I think he's Carver's.
