I thought it looked like the chick with the plaid shirt, you can spot a tiny bit of the persons clothing for a second below Javier's left elbow.
But her colour scheme is close to the younger girl so it could be her too, I just base my assumption on that we see her being knocked out/dead in a truck earlier. I think it might be a choice to save her, given that it seems like Javier can also approach that scene without carrying anyone.
She has tanned as a result of the harsh Virginia summer rays, and grown a coat of fur to endure the December snows of Virginia. Lilly is now more beast than woman.
Yeah, he seems like the type of character that is constantly going to be pushed into the back by other characters since he's just a kid. It'… mores five years into the apocalypse, and we're supposed to believe that other characters have just been protecting him this whole time?
It also isn't very interesting from a storytelling standpoint. I mean, how many times have we seen this type of character, especially in other forms of The Walking Dead?
I'm hoping that a scene doesn't happen where the main characters are in big trouble and then at the last second beanie boy comes and saves the day, then is all like "See? I CAN help!" That would just be really boring
I posted it in the other thread but I'm going to post it here too.
Okay, something is really starting to bug me. I think this Beanie Boy … moreis going to be a TV show Carl 2.0 and I am really, *really not looking forward to that. Here are some of the things he says:
"Next time I'm not gonna sit back and watch. I'm gonna do something." Followed by him swinging a knife angrily and pointing a gun at Javier and an unknown man. After this, you can see him being saved by Jesus in the sewers.
Okay... if it is what I think it is, he is being treated like a child who can't take care of himself, and wants to do something about that. He wants to be a 'survivor.' But, it is 5 years into the apocalypse. 5 years. There is no way that he hasn't "done something" or that he has "stood back and watched" this whole time without getting killed. This is a conflict that happens 6 months - 1 year into the apocalypse, not 5 years. I get that there needs to be ch… [view original content]
I wonder if Jesus will play a huge role in the game? I don't want him around all the time, because of that beautiful plot armor he'll be wearing everywhere and that could hurt the story a bit. Gives me flashbacks to the Michonne game and I lost all suspension. Granted that doesn't mean other characters around him can't get hurt, but his presence just lowers my fear a great deal.

I guarentee, the Jesus we will meet in this game is 100% not a prick. Dude has a good rep in the comics, show, and I'm sure he'll be just as awesome in the game.
I hope there will be quiet moments to talk to these characters. I really disliked that I couldn't sit down and talk to the Cabin Group in Season 2. I want to know them. But never got that chance because the plot never allowed room or time for it...
Oh, it did! It's just that the few times they do allow that, there is little interactivity involved. Carlos, Sarah, and also Mike are the most blatant about this.

You know, I really liked this trailer overall. But there's just one thing in particular that's really bugging me: how obviously spliced toge… morether that line from Jesus is.
"Sorry, forgot to introduce myselfCall me Jesus."
Come on, I can't be the only one that noticed that, right?
I know it was done specifically for the trailer, but still. Obvious spliced together lines are like a pet peeve of mine.
I posted it in the other thread but I'm going to post it here too.

Okay so I didn’t do a proper reaction, but I talked about it afterwards. Just a heads up I’ve had some crappy stuff go on in the last couple of days, so forgive me not sounding bubbily:
The sky is pretty.
Everything is pretty.
Even the walkers, they pretty.
David has a ring on his finger, suggesting he’s married or was.
David has a beard.
Everybody growing beards.
Even Beanie boy, he trying.
Javier now has an R on his baseball shirt, which previously featured no logo.
When Clementine points a gun at the screen, her cap is much more dirtier, and she’s wearing her cool jacket from Season 2. Also as somebody pointed out Clem appears to be holding A.J when he was still a baby, since you can see a blanket moving. This may tie into the alone ending.
When Clementine kneels down to check on Javi, you can see she has removed the bandage on her finger and the scar tissue is pink. The scar tissue however extends up the finger from the joint, which suggests it might not have been a clean cut a.k.a intentionally cut off by somebody. My guess is the finger was severely damaged and Clem either had it removed or was ripped or broken off during some incident.
Seems like the New Frontier group show up at the airport community, Javier seen going out to meet them, then the next is them storming the gate with the truck with the Capricorn logo, which overturn and spills out walkers….well, that escalated quickly o_o
In the tunnel there’s another person running alongside the rest of the group further back.
Beanie Hat boy holds a guy at gunpoint in what seems like the same area Javier and Clem are in the preview.
A.J has been redesigned. After going back and checking I guess he may resemble his mother more, and it’s really Alvin he doesn’t look like, but I’m still not happy with the change.
Although Clementine appears to have A.J’s name tattoo/burned onto her hand and the skin appearing sore around the letters, it’s not there in any of the other scenes she’s feature, and there’s no scar, meaning this maybe a scene of what’s the come rather than something from the past that she’s done.
The Capricorn logo is shown on a metal gate at the end of the trailer that Javier is carrying his sister/niece towards with the others. It also resembles the area/town we saw in the debut trailer, meaning this is where Clem and Javi were trying to get to [at least in terms of the debut trailer]
The unknown duel pistol stranger may be a woman judging by their walk.
To basically sum up in a few words, the trailer doesn’t do it justice and I feel bad saying that given Telltale seemed happy about it. The footage isn’t the issue, heck it looks so intense that I honestly can’t wait to play these episodes. My issue stems from how it’s all put together in a giant clusterpoop that’s too short, and requires numerous rewatches just to figure out what the hell is going on. Everything starts okay, but then there's more and more clips being crammed into such a small time-frame and too much jumping around to piece together the plot.
The preview for Season 3 accomplished a whole great more, and if they're wanting to encourage newcomers to the series, then I fear this trailer may confuse the loving hell out of a lot of them if they having been picking up to speed on news with the game or seen the preview prior. Not only that, the fact they spoiled Jesus appearing, and possibly even AJ’s fate with the whole tattoo/burn on Clementine’s hand, maybe should've been saved for the game. And to top it off redesigning and white-washing A.J when previously they’d already settled on a look for him also and having darker skin, I’m sad they did that to him.
Other than the footage is friggin great, and it all looks so damn awesome and I am impressed. I've even found my new ship too:

Trailer was good. But Telltale missed an opportunity there. They should've made a Trailer similar to the one from S2E5.
The reason, why t… morehe S2E5 Trailer is my favourite is because of how it was structured. The first part of the Trailer was a S1 flashback. The second part was a S2 flashback and the final part was that special scene with Clementine before the outbreak which ends with a Hardcut from Clementine standing in the Garden with a Telephone in her hands to an older Clementine standing in a snowstorm with a gun in her hands. That was incredible.
He seems more adapted to his environment than Ben or even Nick. I think he's just been told too many times to stay back and not get hurt. But he does look like he knows how to handle a weapon.
I posted it in the other thread but I'm going to post it here too.

Maybe it's just me but that really sounded like Kenny. IMO it's Kenny or the same voice actor voicing a different character and I'm sure it's probably the former.
I'm confident that was Kenny until A New Frontier proves me wrong.

Looks like the little girl from one of the screenshots and the extended preview.

She was always like that.
Beautiful scenery.
Looks like Season 3 cast is really big, but I swear to God if they make the same mistake....
It will take me a while to remember everyone's names.
You'll never forget Paul's na--I mean Jesus.
And that mistake is...?
Being killed off, no development, forgotten and die in stupid and unrealistic ways. DUUUUH
Its weird, but I hope they all shout "Manifest Destiny!" a lot.
and then gets bit by a walker no noticed.
scene saved
Just another "Ben". don't mind him.

A guy called himself Jesus in one of the schools went to. He was a prick, I hope this Jesus isn't. Unfort' I don't read the comics, lol.
Was it Vissarion, reincarnated Christ from Siberia? The guy you went to school with.
Do keep in mind that the trailer spans two episodes. We're not going to get rushed with all these new faces in the first hour.
His name wasn't Vissarion unfort', lol. He had a long Jesus beard, a black fedora and a long black coat with lots of metal hangings and huge pockets.
I guarentee, the Jesus we will meet in this game is 100% not a prick. Dude has a good rep in the comics, show, and I'm sure he'll be just as awesome in the game.

Yeah, this. It was an intentional art design choice at the time.
You're totally not alone. It also seems like they meet in... whatever that dark place is, and then presents himself outside.
Like, dafuq yisus!?
Yes... you're totally right.
all hot guys are gay
AND ALL HOT GIRLS ARE STRAIGHT
FUCK THIS SHIT GOD
If he gives me no reason to care for him, I won't really care if he dies.
well then you'll be happy to know jesus can't die due to plot armor.
I know, I hope he uses his armor to protect the group.
michonne had those types of scenes...in episode 3. as did tales from the borderlands.

JavierxShovel
They look great together, you gotta admit.
I think they've learned some of the mistakes they've made with interactivity in season 2. I wouldn't worry about it too much now.
Is that his signature weapon in opposition to Lee's axe and Clementine's hammer?
Javier's relationship with Shovel is going to be full of angst. Shovel hasn't let go of Chuck yet.
That is a good shot.
I would've loved to have seen something in between season 2 and 3.
He seems more adapted to his environment than Ben or even Nick. I think he's just been told too many times to stay back and not get hurt. But he does look like he knows how to handle a weapon.
People standing over a grave with a shovel always look cool
Absolutely.

Well, being killed off is defiantly going to happen for most just like season 1 and 2 but they do need character development before that happens.
I'm a fan of season 2 (season 1 is defiantly better) but I wish we got to know everyone better.
Can't help but wonder who is he burying.
