Not my Clem! I taught her to be respectful of taking other people's things! Although after Arvo I feel inclined to believe differently about it all myself...
I like clem, i dont care if she isn't main character ( it's ok as a support like in s1 but i prefer she as main character) I hope to continue to follow Clementine for a while ..Season 4+
Your point saying that you think they might try and make it a harder decision between Clementine and other said person but I'd say majority of players especially ones that played both seasons of the Walking Dead game are going to side with Clementine, considering she's been in both seasons one being a main character and the other being a cute little girl you look out for.
At the end of the day most people are going to side with Clementine and not other said person
I will always side with Clem (even though I feel that siding with Clem until now was the correct choice even if it wasn't Clem as character).
Also Telltale lost alot of trust with introducing Javier. He's just so stereotype that it hurts. Really don't hope they are trying to go for a surrender Javier or Clem Decission. I would surrender Javier in the blink of an eye.
My worst feeling is that they may be thinking about having the possibility of killing Clem in the game. If Clem dies The Walking Dead dies for me. Really simple. Same goes for any non Clem main character in the next Season.
Also, when you first meet,it's totally ok for her to rob you,but if you choose to accept Conrad's plan then you are a fucking traitor, even though she lied to you about her being a part of the New Frontier group and almost left you 'naked' and alone, without your family.
Don't turn on her! Don't let telltale win! It's what they want!!
I can't say I'm too fond of her this season.I didn't like the scene where she shot that guy(I don't know his name). Why?I'll tell you right n… moreow.Firstly, she was trying to prove her point, which is right.Well, the execution was pretty stupid on her part. How can you think that every single one of the bullets will be faulty? And why aim at his head if you don't want to kill him?And where the fuck was her rifle,so she can,you know, kill the guy when he was fighting with Javier?
Also, when you are on your way to save Javier's family and the New Frontier pack starts shooting."If we don't kill them now they will come after your family later." . Excuse me ,what the fuck?Even if you managed to kill all of them, without getting yourself killed or mortally wounded, then, what makes you think that you won't get Negan'd and captured by the,you know, actual New Frontier's big ass group?

I actually liked the chemistry between Clem and Javier. I'm happy that I was able to respect Clementine and let her stand on her own without making Javier into a whimp, she does seem trigger happy though, I didn't really feel like I recognized her all that well, but it has been two years.
I also didn't find myself siding with her all the time, I went back with Javiers family and I gave myself up, I did agree with her in other places though, I haven't found it too tough to go my own way. I like playing Javier as a nice trusting fella, it seems to be a interesting dynamic to the more stoic Clem I met.
but second play..I am going to sell that kid down the river so fast it will make her head spin
I did this in my second play too. Let me just say, I was in the red when it came to the statistics about the choices Deep in the red, like the 5%. And man did it feel bad selling out Clementine. It didn't feel right at all. Even when Clementine obviously fucked up (like when she shot that guy in the face.) Almost turned it off because it felt so wrong throwing her under the bus.
You all are talking from the heart mostly. Sure my first playthru...I am going to have Clem's back...but second play..I am going to sell that kid down the river so fast it will make her head spin. Love her in this season so far.
When she shot that guy in the face: You and 95.5% of players lied for Clementine
You and 94.3% of characters killed Conrad.
You and 89.8% of players stayed with Clementine during the shootout and didn't go with your family.
These were my actual statistics. I even refreshed them a couple times and they just kept going up in favor of Clem. Usually telltale does a good job with making the choices split 50/50%, that's not the case here though. If they do eventually even out it's because people did alternative game plays to see what happens.
Telltale, I don't care how bad, how sinister or how trigger happy you make Clementine look. Even try making her spit on my dead corpse. If there is one thing TTG did well, its making me care way too damn much for this character. Whatever conflict comes up, I'm going to choose Clem. For both reasons: I want to protect her and I'm just more interested in her story than anyone else's.
I'd still "lie" for her (the dude had pulled a knife) and kill Conrad in new playthroughs, but I'd also always go back with my family (especially now that I know Clem turned up when she stayed behind though, lol)
Can I just say...

All I thought about was Season 2: Episode 1. lol
When I get my computer to work again, I'm going to play as if I (personally) were meeting Clem for the first time. I won't be her friend instantly, but I won't sell her out from the get go. I may favor some of her input in episode 1, but after the twist in episode 2, I siding against her until she opens up more and shows she can be trusted. It will kill my heart, but that is how I would act in real life.

I feel like Clementine is going to have an indirect but major impact on Gabe (and I definitely don't mean romantically). I believe that our choices to take Clem's advice or not will impact Gabe. Remember, it's revealed in episode 1 by Marianna that Gabe knew about the weed. While Marianna admits to eavesdropping while fake sleeping, it can be implied that Gabe does the same. Remember this quote from episode 2: "Parents just love pretending the rest of us can't hear." (Btw, Clem's response of "I wouldn't know." stung hard. I thought that was a well executed moment right there. but I digress...)
If we side with Clem more, Gabe will take notice. He will envy Clem's independence and how she has influence over Javier. In an effort to make himself "more of a man," Gabe will start to imitate Clem. This will give Gabe some strength. However, lacking the understanding as to why Clem is the way she is will cause Gabe will to make a drastic decision for the wrong reasons at the wrong time.
If you side against Clem, Gabe will take notice as well. He will see that Javier puts his family's opinions first. This will help strengthen the Gabe-Javier and Gabe-Kate bond. However, his inability to be independent will be a down fall as he is handicapped to a support system. With his dad being the leader of the New Frontier, Gabe may be more susceptible to succumbing to his father's will and authority.
Possible important decisions could include choosing to stay or get on the road. going back with the family or not, surrendering, and siding with Conrad or not. That's what I'm getting. If this is the case, I like what is happening here.
So far Clementine hasn't worked at all in season 3. She worked in season 1 where everyone had a chance to get on and things were much more character driven. Worked in season 2 where she was at the forefront of the show. As a side character in short rock and roll episodes she just doesn't work.
It was obvious from the start that people would side with Clementine even if she was definitely in the wrong (shoots a guy in the face and wants us to cover for her) or at the cost of someone's life (Conrad); which, realistically, I can't see any survivor doing for someone they've just met and who admitted they were part of an enemy group.
...Oh my goodness...Clementine really is becoming the audience's version of Jane, isn't she?
She really isn't, and that attitude is part of why Telltale even forced her into this Season. It was obvious from the start that people woul… mored side with Clementine even if she was definitely in the wrong (shoots a guy in the face and wants us to cover for her) or at the cost of someone's life (Conrad); which, realistically, I can't see any survivor doing for someone they've just met and who admitted they were part of an enemy group. What has Clementine even done for Javier for him to say "After all we've been through!?" as if it's some kind of shock that Clementine didn't share her backstory with a complete stranger?
Telltale clearly wrote Javier as a catalyst between the player and Clementine, but lost sight of the fact that they met two days ago, with Clementine pointing a shotgun at Javier's back and holding him hostage. You don't become besties after that.

Im happy shes more interesting than the bland thing that we played as in season 2.

I forgot about the candy bar. She put it back for me.

If you told her it was for Javier's niece, she doesn't take it.

They're not rushing it, that's all. By episode 4 or 5 Clementine will be a good guy.
