So, even if the episode had been 90 minutes or 2 hours, you'd be okay with waiting 5 months for an episode?!? 0.0
I don't really think a lot of people share that sentiment, especially considering we don't know how quick or how long it takes for Telltale to apply fan feedback. I'm personally a bit bummed they aren't sticking to the one month schedule, but at least they are listening to fan feedback.
Going from December to "later [in March]" isn't exactly a small wait, mind you. I think it is pretty evident they are taking fan feedback into consideration.
NEXT MONTH!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!
This is a complete flipping joke!!
Late next month is insulting to the fans. What happened to monthly releases???
Telltale earned my last dollar after this game!!
This company has sold out!

Just because they retweet positive reviews to promote their game, it doesn't mean they aren't taking the negative feedback into consideration or reading it. If you read under the lines from Job's flowery euphemisms for "being excited about fan feedback," he is bringing attention to the fact that they've read feedback, but I do agree it would be more helpful for them to directly acknowledge it instead of hiding behind flowery euphemisms.
I'd defiently be willing to wait 5 months for a superior project, even if it only ran 75 minutes (which is probably how long this episode is).
Considering that we know they didnt start work till after the new year, and that the script was in the voice actors hands a week ago at latest. I doubt thats enough time to have sat down and really tried to apply feedback to it.
At best its going to be lip service paid to all of the complaints people have made.

I think they really are listening; they would not have any problem sticking with their original plan for Episode 3 if they weren't listening to fan feedback.

Although the never officially said as much, I think it's fairly evident they were normally planning on monthly episodes like they did with Batman, Michonne, Minecraft, etc (see Episode 2 releasing in December while Episode 1 was supposed to be released in November before the one month delay to include engine fixes).
So, it's very likely they have been revamping the script instead of going with their original plan. Tales from the Borderlands also had similarly long episode waits, which were later revealed to have been for the purpose of including fan feedback (character shipping, more Loader bot presence, etc) but they did not reveal that until a while after the series was over.
Even though Job is hiding behind flowery euphemisms about "being excited" over feedback with his previous tweets, I believe he is saying that he acknowledges the negative fan feedback, but I do agree they should be more open about how they acknowledge it.

I've said it many times and I'll say it again: I doubt they listened to feedback. Job said we're the minority pretty much saying they don't care. Why would they care about the minority if the majority apparently "likes the game" even though sales are decreasing immensely, and Steam's most helpful reviews are literally all negative (with over 70% agreeing with those reviews)? They only care about the money - it's probably why Javier is in the game now because they were too lazy to implement all endings, so they're using cheap, low quality flashbacks as a shitty cop out.
Episode 3 is Telltales last chance to make s3, at the very most, alright. Two good episodes wont make up for more than half of the game being awful, that is even if episode 4 and 5 will be better.
I don't mind the march release as long as they are making it better I'm expecting season 1 episode lengths here though because is usually how long it took for those episodes but I don't want to wait for episode 4-5 this long... unless... Episode 3 is so BIG they had to split it into 3 parts each 20 minutes!
that's not the case. they had 2 years since EP5 premiered and they had more than plenty of time too think of a more complex and compelling entry to the series. but they didn't and that's what makes me more critical of the state S3 IS IN.

It'd be worse if there was no big climax or big plot mover in EP3.
I mean, it's the episode in the middle of the season! It has to move the main story (Which we still don't know!!) and yet it feels like we are in a prologue, still introducing characters that have no connections at all to the people from S1 or S2. (<-- I feel like this is their only lifesaver to make us care about new characters)
Mid-late March for episode 3? Fair enough. I really hope the community here digs this episode as this place has been a major bummer, so I rather folks here be pessimistic than hopeful, so the community doesn't crash and burn...again with people who over exceeded their expectations.
I'm more on the early march side but if it's a long and almost oerfect episode take as much time as needed. It took about the same time for minecraft episode 5 so I think I can see it during late march.

Well that depends on the quality of the episode. None should automatically like or dislike the episode because of previous feelings towards EP 1&2. I was extremely excited for ANF and I was underwhelmed and disappointed with ANF EP1&2. With that said I'm genuinely hopeful the rest of the season is good although if it's bad it is what it is. Most people who don't like the first episodes are hopeful the future episodes are good although most can't help but to feel optimistic.
Let's all pretend that ANF is actually Michonne Season 2 and that she'll debut with Pete and Sam next episode and that the actual Season 3 is still being worked on. Clementine is not actually Clementine, just another girl named Clementine that's the same age and same voice! Kenny/Jane/Edith are not Kenny/Jane/Edith because their models are way too shit to be the characters we've grown to hate/love. The real Season 3 is debuting in August with your Season 2 choices ACTUALLY MATTERING! Huzzah!

Which feedback tho? I doubt very much that they are listening to anything but glowing reviews and Twitter hype.
I think they are delaying Ep 3 to listen to fan feedback instead of releasing Ep 3 on a monthly schedule.
Pretty much.

I don't think they'll even incorporate the feedback if they took me 4 months.

That's assuming they even had a plan which seems they didn't.
I'd rather take a long wait for a better polished sculpture then have a rushed and incomplete sculpture.
I hope it's a good episode when it's released.

It was posted on the official Twitter account of Telltale.
Despite my conflicted/pessimistic feelings for the company right now, I still like how they do their trailers.
I still have my doubts... but I hear you. Episode 3 will be the deciding factor for many people to see if this season is good or not.
I honestly have no more hope for ANF though. If Ep3 turns out to be good, I will be surprised - very surprised, but I doubt it.

I wonder what company he's gone to and what type of game?
Blind your avatar keeps confusing me. I keep mistaking for Wolfy XD
He's with Sucker Punch now. So maybe Infamous or Sly Cooper.
I don't see a problem, but the fact the lead writer left halfway through the season is pretty interesting.
I'm with you on this... but wolfs travel in packs after all.
Dontnod. They have cookies (and good games)
I'm going with march 11 the day baseball tickets go on sale. Go as any guess can be. Hurry up latter next month.
Tbh, I doubt the people here that are mad about ANF are going to like episode 3. If they do, they will only like it a tiny bit more.
