Do you like the romance thing going on with this season?
There is a ton of flirting in this season compared to the others. It seems telltale is building up a lot of love triangles and relationships. I think it's interesting since we've never really had a romance type plot before. But I also feel it's sort of a burden because of all the drama it could cause.

I certainly don't mind having romance. As long as it serve the plot.
It's fine for me. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be pissed in the next episode when David gets pissy about you being with Kate despite said players refusing her advances.
I do like Javier and Eleanor but it's frustrating when I realise I'd be cutting out ma boi Tripp.
I'm not a huge fan of a Clementine and Gabe romance, but I think my opinion could change given certain character developments and changes.

I like it, I think it's cool. It's nice to see the characters so happy; plus, like you said, it's the first time romance has been heavily focused on in the game series. If it helps to develop the characters and the overall story, I'm all for it.

I like it. It reflects real life and I don't buy the whole "people wouldn't care about romance in an apocalypse" thing that people like to put out. You have to think about something other than running for your life every second.
I like it. It's time to broaden the story telling.
I think it's nice. It's good to finally have some sort of romance going out especially since I miss what Lee and Carley could have been (those were the days...), so having romance options like Javier and Kate or Javier and Eleanor, and having a possible romance spring between Clementine and Gabriel is pretty nice

I don't mind it. It's something new from S1 and 2. But tbh I don't feel that either Javier/Kate or Javier/Eleanor have much chemistry so I'm not too interested in either one of those relationships. I highly doubt Gabe and Clem will amount to anything, but then again I won't mind if something does happen on whatever small scale.
Actually in S1 I was a huge fan of Carley and Lee. Even though they had such little screen time, I preferred them to the possible romances on offer now.
I know the game is trying very hard to force me to choose the romantic options and for the sake of the plot, David will probably react the same way even if I always rejected Kate's advances. I also strongly dislike love triangles because it seems to be the most overused plot for romance for some obscure reasons.

Hm, I for one would enjoy the possible romance between Javi and Kate. I never really felt that way in regards to TWD. Yes, not even with Carley. I don't know, Kate seems to be pretty well written as of right now.
I just hope she won't die in the next episode...

Whether you like the possible romance options or not, they do add another factor to think about when making your choices.
After seeing how episode two ended i'm convinced it's just a plot device. Romance is a stretch.
I am enjoying the whole Javi and Kate thing they have going, Im guessing its also part because now David is back in the mix, and we need that spicy drama.
Really not feeling the Clem and Gabe thing they seem to be hinting at though...
I'm loving the relationship between Javier and Kate so I approve. However I think it's important that they keep any romance in the game optional.

I see three plots they will use in the story (and I hope I'm wrong). 1) David has always been jealous of Javier and it will finally come to a boiling point because he's been with Kate and the kids for the past four years. 2) He will blame Javier for his daughter's death. 3) Both of them will be all broken up over Kate. She will survive and both of them will be fighting for her. barff
And last, Clem needs to run as far away as possible from Chris 2.0. lol But that's because I want to keep Clem safe. But I think it's good for her to be around a kid her age, and for Gab too. I see them and Enid and Carl. Except Gab would be the one getting locked in a closet.

As far as I remember he (or maybe someone else with a similar nickname and the same Troy pic) used to be 100% fan of Javier x Clem.
I don't mind any of them, even the clem x gabe romance. It's not Javier's business, and really it's none of our business. It's up to clem who she wants to romance.
. . . She probably won't? I hope not anyway. TTG's track record seems to be that if a character is going to die then they die within a few minutes of gameplay.
when did i said that? i only said that i dont care if people ship clementine and javier. i mean, maybe if clementine was older. she and javier would definitely be more compatible than clementine and gabe.

Kate and Javier I don't mind. Kate was in a pretty stressful marriage before and as well she had 4 years believing he's dead, so I think she deserves someone who does make her happy, even if I'm not that much into the ship itself

It's funny, but it's interesting too, where the option is there and you can choose to ignore it and not flirt. Even with Lee I think that was limited a little bit with only I think a few things you could say to Carley. Javi and Kate are killing me with the adorable optional flirty stuff with them and the complications that could arise with David, and Eleanor's a sweet friggin bunny rabbit you wanna wrap up in blankets and give carrots, but Tripp cares about her and might get mad at us stealing his girl. Meanwhile Javi hasn't got laid in 4 years and might end up alone if he picks nobody to date! Dilemma!
Seriousness, it's amusing but sweet.
