Do you think that Carver could have defeated The New Frontier if they had attacked his place?
I personally dont think so, but I wanted to know your opinios on this. I know that Carver has capable people on his camp (Troy, Tavia, etc) but I still dont think that his community could win against them.
And what do you think he would have done if he had saw his community destroyed? He would have stayed to fight till the death or escaped to safety?

Clementine somehow took down Carver and his whole settlement. It was a flimsy hardware store with workers that hardly had any experience. As of now TNF is a much bigger threat. That is unless Clementine also takes down The New Frontier, in that case both Carver's camp and The New Frontier would both somehow screw up and die had they fought.
No. Carver was tough, but the New Frontier clearly has the numbers.
Not a chance. Carver's fortifications couldn't even stand up to walkers or Troy backing into it on accident, no way they could've lasted against being rammed by vehicles loaded with walkers. Carver's group easily overpowered groups that were using only pistols and spears, but I doubt they would've held their own against similar numbers that were armed with AK-47's as well. They would be absolutely slaughtered.
Oh yeah, I remember someone asking this question a few weeks ago.
Realistically speaking, no. The New Fronteir utilized weaponry and troops that few other groups have had access to, so their advanced technology would easily trump the forces of Howe's Hardward.
No chance.
No way. The New Frontier has too many people and they seem to have their shit together for an assault on communities. Carver was well equipped and had good fighters, but just enough to survive through tough times, not an assault.
The New Frontier has numbers and seems to use tactics. So no..Howes would have fallen easily.
Are we really comparing a hardware store group that collapsed because of 6, or more, people, and a neighborhood ,with a possibly stupid pack mentality, that could also maybe collapse because of 6, or less, people?
I would say, depends.
Are we talking year 3 howe's vs. year 5 new frontier?
Or theoretical year 5 howe's vs. year 5 new frontier?
Or year 3 howe's vs. theoretical year 3 new frontier?
I think he'd have tried but ultimately failed. Carver had a strong community but New Frontier has a working system and as far as I know they actually have love and respect for their leader wheras Carver's own people talk about him behind his back.
Nope, not one chance.
Because like others have mentioned before, Carver was mistrusted for his violent and irrational decisions. Doing so, earned him fear for leadership, (because leadership is built on respect and fear). But also unrest that at any moment they could be killed just as easily as ****** was for screwing up TWICE and not even for that big of a deal.
But there was a chance
If the New Frontier was just forming around Clementine's stay at Howe's, and they attacked, yes easily. No crazy ramming trucks, high numbers or tactics. But they didn't have that great of defenses, constantly needing repair and management. But a ramming truck full of walkers, popping smokes to hide the walkers, the noise attracting more, and New Frontier mopping up the survivors, they definitely would not have the numbers to defend that place.
Year 3? Probably.
Any years hence? No.
What? lmao, this fucker's can't deal with stupid walkers. They just going up to roof to shoot walkers (what for? obviously you not have ammo to kill them everyone) and starting screams "Ohhh where's Bill? We need him! What we should do?!?! mommy help me!!"
What here to speak about the armed people? no chance.
He couldn't even stop a child, redneck with an IQ of 76, and a pregnant woman from smashing over his fort...
I doubt he'd be able to stop a small army of heavily armed troops.
Maybe New Frontier's smaller outposts like Max's settlement but then the New Frontier would start sending more people after Carver's group that would overwhelm them. You have to notice what battle arrangements they make. The way they decked out their ramming assault trucks could show how well engineered their weaponry are, the way they threw tear gas and unleashed zombies to fuck up an entire settlement shows they got some serious deadly tactics and things like tear gas. The New Frontier feels like it is a lot bigger than Carver's group as well so in numbers New Frontier is probably bigger. The way that girl spoke about how New Frontier eventually gets people to join is a headlight for it being some huge organization. I'm also getting a big Mad Max feel out of the New Frontier something like Immortan Joe's group or something but heck probably even bigger. Carver is small fry compared to them.
Carver would lose. New Frontier has way too more people and much better equipment. With what I saw until now, NF can and probably will consume all other communities and force people to join. They can even become new government!
ANF would more than likely destroy Carver's defenses.
Carver's own people were like a cult and he was the leader. He very much was a sociopath and his people reasoned constantly "He had his reasons." Reggae says those same lines and when Carver kills him, Bonnie says "Carver had his reasons."
In my opinion Carver broke these people and they are now dealing with Stockholm syndrome.
Could you stop being so disrespectful towards Kenny. OK we get that you don't like him, yet an IQ of 76 is ridiculous and you know it. You get temporarily banned constantly here so maybe you should choose your words more wisely.
I've noticed that Carver is like a cult leader to his people and it is very much like Mad Max's story. Carver's group seemed to be made up of people with Stockholm Syndrome. He mentally broke all of these people and it is quite obvious. Tavia was probably the first person to be hypnotized by his words and that's why she ambushes people. We've seen that recruits are given no freedom and must earn the respect of Carver and obey without question his every word. If you question Carver, there will be severe consequences. It seems that to get any freedom, you must prove that you are loyal. If you bring more people to Carver, you are handsomely rewarded. It kind of reminds me of the original Jigsaw Killer with John in the Saw series.
ANF conquers settlements and then teaches them that it is beneficial to join them. So it is more along the lines of when Rome would conquer territories and people.
Kenny is an asshole.
When did she ambush anyone?
If you're referring to the people in the yard, all of them were technically enemies and suspects: The Cabin Group escaped previously, Reggie was thrown in for helping them, Mike was [originally] part of a bandit group that Carver fought against, Jane was caught sneaking around the premises probably looking for food, and Clementine, Kenny, and Sarita were likely thrown in as accomplices.
