To tell the truth I think bringing Clementine into the comic to some degree would be the best thing that could possibly happen to the character. If her story continues to be told through this TellTale series her character will just end up getting run into the ground to the point to where people will begin losing interest in what happens to her.
Bringing her into the comic will not only make her character more important but it will also likely give new people an interest in the video game series as well as giving people who strictly play the game a reason to read the comic.
I actually meant more along the lines of having comic characters in the game (Glen, Hershel, Michonne, Jesus, etc). That being said, even if that don't want to make it crossover either way, it still makes sense to keep the option open (from a writing standpoint) just in case.
I havent read the comics either, but I dont see why the need to have them crossover exist, I mean, the people playing the video games like C… morelementine, but alot of people reading the comics probably dont care about the video games, so why not just keep Clem in the games and let the comics do whatever, just have them be two different stories in the same universe
I just had a thought that would make bringing Clementine into the comics an impossibility, it's in terms of her physical appearance.
She has determinant scars and permanent deformities depending on the Season 2 ending.
The cheek scar, the eye scar, the AJ tattoo and the missing ring finger are all things that make her appearance different.
It's impossible to bring Clementine into the comics unless they do one of three things:
Completely ignore any of these physical changes at all or make Clementine such a minor focus that we don't even see these parts of her. Kind of crappy.
Make one of the four changes the 'canon' change, also kind of crappy and insulting to the other three endings.
Make it so that Clementine eventually achieves all four of the physical changes eventually at different times. Hilariously cheap and unlikely, but would make her existence valid.
