I wonder what their reaction will be!
Everyone here is wondering what David's reaction will be when he finds out about Mariana and Kate but I'm sitting here wondering what the reaction will be when Clementine, Tripp, Eleanor, and determinant Conrad find out that Javier, Kate and Gabe are tied into David. I don't think Javi has ever told them about David or Kate being his sister-in-law. I think he mentioned Gabe being his nephew though. He and Kate also never said that she is Gabe's step mother or mother at all. They also don't know how long Javi and David have been apart or anything so when they meet David they'll probably think Javi's with them. WOW, they definitely needed a sit down and talk about life or something before they grouped up because they know nothing about each other!
Since they all trust Javi, how will they all react to Javi and David being brothers (especially Tripp and Clem since they trust Javi so much and basically put leadership to him)?
Since Javi and Kate are sort of a thing, how will they react when they find out Kate was/is David's wife and how she is Javi's sister-in-law (I wonder if Eleanor will be grossed out since she flirted with a guy who likes his brother's wife)?
How will they react when they find out Gabe is David's son and Kate is his step mother (especially Clementine since Gabe wants to be friends and Conrad since Gabe pointed a gun at him)?
Do you think they'll be mad at Javi and possibly turn on him? I think it's possible.

IT will be dissapointing I can tell you that
They will be like: "You're the boss!"
I wonder how Clementine is going to react whe she realizes Javier (Who is the only one she trusts) is affiliated to David.
Not to mention IF they do hurt Clementine and then she finds out that Javier's brother led (?) ANF. She won't be too happy.
Nah. I think they'll find it an unpleasant surprise, but the idea of Javier and the others having been separated from David years ago is plausible enough, and the New Frontier psycho guy did shoot David's daughter. They might be a little suspicious of Javier for leading them there at first, but this isn't the same situation as Clementine having a New Frontier brand on her arm.
And I think too much has happened for David to go "Whaaaat, you kissed my wife?!" or "Whaaaat, you let my daughter die?!"
Neither of those things should surprise him in the slightest given the circumstances. I honestly think he might just hone in on the happy fact that his son is alive, take a moment to mourn his daughter, show some concern for Kate and then get on with business without getting too fuzzy demanding that they honor their marriage or anything like that. He's a raider chief now, too. That's not a great platform for moral indignation.
I think their reaction will be interesting, but I don't think it'll be a major plot point. I don't see them turning on Javi. I'm most worried about Conrad's reaction. He's alive in my playthrough and I'd like him to stay that way for a while. However he's not in a very good place right now and he wasn't pleased when he found out Clementine was with TNF. Though to be fair his actions were based more on pragmatism than vengeance.
It probably won't be too negative. Jesus is just there to find out what happened with Richmond, he's seemed pretty neutral. Clems reaction will probably depend on Davids, him being bitter or hostile might actually draw her closer to Javier. There might be some tension with Tripp if Eleanor was mistreated, but he's seemed pretty reasonable for the most part, I don't think he'll hold it against Javier if he knows they haven't seen each other in a while. If I didn't leave Conrad with a hole in his head on the train, Javier will probably have to kill him assuming Conrads deranged ass doesn't flip at the gates. Dude literally tells Javier if he goes along with his plan, they'll both get what they want. He wants to turn over a kid who's a runaway member to the group that murdered his wife and Javiers niece because revenge for something or another. He'll probably try to murder the whole family when he finds out they're the close relatives of the groups leader.
