Don't worry. He only died in A New Frontier. Not Season 3. That isn't out her, not the canon one anyway

The only way he could have survived is if the flashbacks were just nightmares or if you stayed at Wellington or left him at the gas station.

As a side note I actually thought Kenny would survive that scene. I thought that what they were doing was going through yet another hardship and survive through it. I thought we were getting a paralyzed Kenny. The reasoning for that is that Kenny seemed like a character who goes through hell again and again but lives through it, making him a lucky but very damaged person.

You see, CLEARLY, in reality Kenny only broke a leg but still had to be left behind, but was still able to get out of the mess, Clem never truly watched him die remember! But because she crashed the car she feels guilty and keeps having nightmares about how Kenny died. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!
Kenny is alive in my playthrough (i went to Wellington and Kenny left with the supplies).
Ya never know, maybe Telltale will have him come back if you chose the Wellington ending...

Same here. Part of me kind of knew Kenny was doomed but part of me hoped that they would actually keep Kenny alive throughout the flashbacks, and paralyzed Kenny would've been very interesting and tragic to see.
