Damn typos
I really don't understand what you're saying.
I mean telltale needs to naturally convey realistic moments , Not just add in a scene of Clementine having a period just because they had too since people complained that the game had to much action sequences ...... I mean ...... Who would have guessed that a scene about something as miniscule as that would happen ?? I would rather have scenes about characters eating dinner or some shit than a box of fucking pads laying ever so suspiciously roght were you need em
There really wasn't anything wrong with that scene. It was short, tasteful and it made me laugh. Maybe that stuff just makes you uncomfortable but I enjoyed it.
yeah i agree I thought it was the most human moment in a while and I liked it for that
Lay off the cocaine, kid.
Grow up.
"Oh, Clementine had a period. Omg Clementine is bleeding. MY EYES, MY EYES. I can't look at this. Omg that's so disgusting. Wtf telltale. I can't deal with the fact that women bleed and this should be normal af. I won't look at her in the same way now."
Blah blah blah grow the fuck up Blah blah blah
No one gave a shit when Javi talked about boners. XD
This is exactly what happens when kids play 'mature' games.
well, ya know, You seem to be a kid yourself, or just a gigantic asshole, I had NO PROBLEM with the subject, I had a fucking problem with them putting a box of pads in the cupboard not two feet from where this whole thing took place, yeah, I do... Not to mention the fact you seem WAYYY to enthusiastic about periods, Clem aint real... REMEMBER
[removed]
Also I didn't mean to come off as an asshole, but I put one piece of advice for telltale and people who are apparently so against anyone who says ANYTHING about periods or a slightly uncomfortable scene, is a clueless kid? Jeez you people on these forums are so pretentious... If that scene would have happened with us PLAYING as Clementine it would have been great, but it's a bit weird to have Javier there to find pads in a drawer to his fucking right... I wrote for some smaller games, And compose certain audiobooks online ..And that is just as convenient as Kenny-Christa's return
Where were the hubs? The one where you could talk to Gabe for two dialogue options and Clementine for two Talk Actions?
Yeah you could consider it a hub, but not a big one and not even comparable to Season One.
And regarding the period scene, I don't get why people piss themselves so much. That it occurs there is debatable, the topic itself is not.
People that don't even try to explain their point properly never fail to make me facepalm.
Also: What was so wrong about the talk Javi and Clementine had? She's gotten older which means that she has to deal with this kind of stuff. Apart from that, she grew up in a world where she never learnt about it, nor did she know that this topic was something that's been barely talked about in the former society.
Whenever somebody complains about that scene, I have to think about my former classmates who always laughed like shy japanese school girls whenever the teacher mentioned the word "sex".
.... They were in Dr. Lingard's office... of course, there's gonna be feminine products in there. It just makes sense.
You do know that school nurses keep that stuff in their offices as well, right? You should try asking yours about it sometime.
The scene was just out of nowhere, I thought they could have done it better, Did it serve the plot in any way other than a forced touching moment? NOPE, If this happened when we were playing as Clementine than that's one thing, But JUST as Javi enters the doctors office, really, Was she just waiting to tell someone? I think the problem is a lot of these people just think that Telltale are ok as long as they add in random scenes like this provided its "Real" and "Harsh story moments" Which this scene was a stupid scene I could care less for, And yet there is all of you acting like I said that she should be burned for this, I just thought it could be left out, Did you know they cut a scene from episode 5, A REALLY great flashback scene? Its in a cut content video, And yet they include THIS , and not to mention Javiers out of nowhere bisexual scene in the finale, But yet everyone complains when they add in scenes like Kenny calling Lee urban at the st johns dairy ...ously, If you have a problem with someones ONLY complaint against the SUPERB writing in this game (which the scenes dialogue was not bad, it just came out of fucking nowhere) Then go back to your safespace, I know doctors keep tampons and pads in their offices, But there was literally ONE PACK IN A RANDOM DRAWER BEHIND JAVIER, Seriously? LOL at the people saying that people who didn't like this scene 100 % are kids when all of you are either really defensive because Telltale are so fucking "brave" to include needless fluff, Thatdoesn't always need to be in media, Ya know, the same media which shows people shooting machine guns with one hand and backflipping off horses... I also figured Clem was ALREADY on her period, you know, the same period which Lily Carley and every other female gets, That they never explain anything with, And you know, Christa, The woman who was with Clem for 16 months, Didn't bother to do any explaining apparently.... I didn't mind this subject AT ALL, Fucking hell, I just wish it would have happened in a flashback if you want me to be frank
Also I posted this when I didn't see the different outcomes of the scene I was quiet so Clementine got pissed off, The other dialogue is more touching, Still, I think the scene could be further improved
I really don't understand why people get so worked up over the period scene. I mean, if it lasted for half the episode and they went into very intricate detail about it, then I'd understand. But it lasted for like two minutes and was mostly played up for laughs. It's really not that big a deal. People don't give a shit about the characters bashing in the heads of undead corpses, but the second Clementine mentions that she's on her period everyone's like: "Kill it with fire!" Lol.
I just want Ep. 4 to work on Win10. Locks up at loading screen...
You all need some of Kate's weed...
That's what's wrong with society. People can talk about dicks all they want but no tampons because UGHT THEY GO INSIDE VAGINA aaaaand so do dicks.
Dude calm down and have a snicker
Just wait for it to load.
The game locks up. It will NOT load.
look above, I just think they should have done it differently, Sorry, I forgot, Can't be negative to the writing if it involves a touchy subject hail telltale for such great writing, And yet I get more shit than the people on here who ship the Garcia brothers and the clavier motherfuckers
I am on Win10 and it works. Doesn't help you, but at least you know it's not because of either Win10 or the game.
@bluewalker
No reason to be a dick? I agree with the Period scene, I wasn't gonna have that fucking conversation with Clem. I think if you were her father you would be like that too.
Periods are natural yes, but I'm pretty sure no one wants to know that their daughters are on their periods.
Well. You should make a thread about your problem . Support will prolly respond if you contacted them
I remember I wrote about Clem getting her period in a fanfic once, but I made sure to play it to a humorous effect so instead of making it completely awkward, it'd just make people laugh. Humor is always the best medicine, like Javi's line in episode 1 mentioning getting boners and the world going dark ^^ but honestly, I really didn't mind the sequence. I loved being able to get Clem some pads in the game and explaining to her she's woman now.
It might be easier me saying all this since I'm a lady, but it was the other way around, say a sequence with Gabe going to Javi telling him he's been waking up with morning wood and Javi having to sit him down and give him 'the talk', I'd of been okay with it. No lies I'd probably be laughing and feeling a little awkward, but I'd be okay with it XD
Nooow, if the period thing had devolved into Javi shouting on the other side of the bathroom door to Clem how to put a tampon in, now that would've been crossing a line, but as it is, it's fine to me.
Clem is 12\13 and it's natural for her age ...
I'm on my period, I started today.
Fear me, FEAR ME! [proceeds to scatter pads around the forum] Bwahaha! BWAHAHAHA-ack! Ooooow!
Nuu, my uterus is trying to kill me! W-Wait I need those! GIMME BACK MY JAM PADS!
Obviously a period is something all young girls go through, But when I posted this, I didn't know I was gonna get in such deep crap for it, I really was just voicing my opinion on the scene , The point is, Telltale doesn't bother explaining how Lee can fit a freaking shovel up his pants, or realllly much of anything, it's a videogame, it has videogame logic, I am just saying, Ya know, We don't see characters going to the bathroom, Its not a simulation game, So I just don't see why they have to include a period scene especially one in the middle of a big problem such as Javier treating his wound, Maybe im jsut looking at this in to mcuh of a writing standpoint rather than immersive... but i have sisters, it's not like I am some freak who says that woman are gross because of it, I just see it as something that should stay in fanfiction, Next up is Javier taking a shower? lol
They just wanted to show that Clem was growing up, LOL.
It would've been hilarious if she had her period in the middle of a herd...
... at least that'll lead to something...
