IRL: Who would you save? Carly or Doug
You're Lee, who would you save? Doug or Carly? Who was more valuable to the Motel group?

Carley, she knows how to use a gun very well.
Carley.
Not just because she's a woman, but she's good with a gun. And I'd say a person who knows how to shoot is more useful in a ZA than a person whose main expertise is mainly with computers and other electronic devices. Also, I'd save Carley because she already trusted Lee enough to keep his past a secret compared to Doug whom we really haven't had any interaction with.
So yeah, Carley all the way.
(Sorry Doug. You seemed cool.)
Carley for the sweet love.
Carley because girl
I saved Carley, but when I started the next episode I had Doug. It was irritating.
First time I saved Doug (worst decision I have ever made in the game, no offence Doug). After thinking about it though, definitely Carley.
Carly. She may not be the brightest candle on the cake, but she knows how to handle a gun and that is one of the most important skills in a zombie-apocalypse.
Yeah, pretty much.
Carley for the same reason I saved her in the game, she knew how to use a gun, which comes in handy
In real life I would save the one I saved in the game obviously.
Carley
I could likely save both by telling Clem to get Carly her purse. But if only one is possible, then for that particular dillema I'd save Doug.
He was the one out of the two that was in more mortal danger. Carly might of been in peril too but she could of just used the gun to pistol whip the zombie in the head or use her other foot to brain it. She wasn't that bright anyhow but knew how relationships worked and a natural good shot.
Doug was smart and likely could be like the Eugene of that group making bullets and building walker proof fences. Carley at the time I first played sounded like she had attitude or wanted to blackmail me to the rest of the group so I felt maybe she'd be taken care of by the zombies to eliminate that threat. I learned that you don't get another chance to let any of the group know about Lee's secret if you let Carley get eaten. But oh well I thought the story was much more creatively interesting with Doug and just drama romance with Carley. Potential romance that ultimately ended up getting shot down anyway by Lilly in everyone's faces that were trying to ship Lee and Car. Yes funny pun intended.
In the same situation, I would have chosen Doug, he looked like he needed more help. I mean multiple zombies had him, however with Carly there was only one. I'd figure that she'd be able to kick it off. So in the spur of the moment I would have chosen Doug, like I did my first play through. However If there was time to actually choose, you pick one the other will die, no other complications, I'd choose Carly, she seemed more capable.
If it was at the very beginning of the apocalypse? Probably Carley, since she can definitely shoot a gun and hold her own in a fight better than Doug could, and you would need that sort of protection immediately when everything's in chaos and everyone's just trying to stay alive from the walkers.
However, I still think Doug would be a good investment over the long haul, since I felt that he had the potential to become sort of a Eugene kind of character with his intelligence and knowledge of technology and such. If you ever got an electrical grid up and running, I'm sure he wouldn't have that much trouble coming up with a suitable defense system or to power up your whole settlement.
So yeah. Kind of torn here.
Doug. If you run out of bullets you improvise and grab something else or go kung fu on that walker. Doug was grabbed from behind so he was at a greater disadvantage from the get-go.
Doug was useful in making an alarm to alert the group of walkers or people being close by to the motel and was good at fixing things but that was it really. He wasn't capable of killing/using a gun or dealing with walkers/people. I also think choosing Carley made it a more appealing story due to the fact you can tell the group about Lee's past. But i do like both scenarios for different reasons
I liked Doug but Carley was more useful in apocalypse. In a realistic view, Carley should be the one which we have to pick.
Doug actually needed help and was going type to die without a fighting chance
IRL? I'd probably screw it up because i don't know how to use a gun, and im honestly a bit wimpy.
Carley;
Honest, brave, known how to use a gun, can stand up for herself, she doesn't get involved with things that don't concern her until she's forced to get involved, minds her own business, and always is willing to lend a helping hand.
Carley.Doug is ok too but for me Carley is more useful !
Great minds think alike.
I saved Carley in the game. And I would save her in real life.
Carley. Not only was she useful with a gun but also because she knew about Lee's secret and she's the reason Lee (optionally) told the group about what he did.
