SO ANYWAY, what was this thread about again? If it's all right, I'd like to make the first request for Nick when he returns to us. Any chance of seeing a wallpaper version of the "rest in peace?" image that was on the front page, with just the logo and no text?
I took some screenshots on my new notebook yesterday with some scenes I'd love to see made into wallpapers (preferably with the Tales of Monkey Island logo on the right side, because I keep my desktop icons on the left side). Pretty please, Nick? Thank you!

Yes, a Grave one for sure, the decision is Hand? or No Hand?

Wait, you just want the Tales logo slapped on those screenshots? Because that'd be really easy. Like, ridiculously easy. Like, I could do it in less than half a minute in Paint.NET.

You can, but you still lose the coolness of it because Paint.NET simply sucks.

Please enlighten me as to how the simple act of grabbing an image and dropping it on top of another is better accomplished by your tool of choice over Paint.NET. How will the resulting image look better when created by your tool?
GIMP and Photoshop may be more powerful, but this is a light task and frankly Paint.NET's interface is a lot easier to deal with when you don't exactly work with GIMP/Photoshop on a consistent basis.

Well, I've never worked with paint.net or even heard of it but a lot of free programs will tend to screw up image quality, especially when saving as a JPG, so that it's very rough around the edges. Again, I've never worked with paint.net so I'm just assuming what COULD be the difference, since I used to have this problem with the free OpenCanvas where I had to annoyingly print screen the canvas and save it from Photoshop for good quality every time.

Some friends and I have a traditional mp3 of "C is for cookie" that just says "C is for cookie and that's good enough for me" over and over again for thirteen minutes. We trick each other all the time by sending over what appears to be a normal mp3 but is actually that damned song. The first time I got sent the song everyone kept promising it would get better and told me to stick it out for the whole thirteen minutes but it was just "C IS FOR COOKIE AND THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME" the whole time. We did all this even before that silly rickrolling came along.

The "Don't hurt me" one is hilarious.

Or is it too both-ersome?
I should be shot for that.

Yup.
So, wallpapers.
Or some character montages?
For example, "the MI2 cover, but with the TMI 3d models"? Or is that too much to ask for?
"Contraband check."

Do the zombie polonaise!
I didn't think it would be as funny if I did it word for word.
Guess I was wrong...
