What determines these? Episode five spoilers
- Whether Clem shoots Dave or points a piece at him
- Is there a way for Clem to stay in Richmond? My ending said something like "Clementine didn't stay in Richmond", implying that she could have stayed there
EDIT: said Dave rather than David, but I suppose that'd be a neat abbreviation so I left it

Im not sure about the first one but about the second one: theres no way that clementine Stays in richmond, the last choice said if she split up with you or stayed with you. This was when you had to chase gabe and David or go with kate. She either stays with you or does the opposite of what you do
Ah, my mistake. Thank you pal
I think the first depends on your choices in the S2 finale. My Clem let Jane die and chose Wellington, and in S3 she pointed a gun at David.
If only it was clarified like the "Clem goes with..." posts.
If Clem is alone or with Jane she will shoot. If its one of the Kenny endings she will point at him
Has this been proven? Thanks BTW if so
Nah, I don't think this is the determining factor.
In my game, Clementine didn't shoot David, despite having having the alone ending to season two. See the missing finger above? If I had to guess, it would be something to do with her relationship with Javier instead, and how far she's willing to go to protect him.
Wait on the stats screen when it says “your clementine became” it says when Javi and David fought at the water tower she remember a fight similar long ago which must mean Kenny’s fight. Sorry for assuming but isn’t there still a way to get the alone ending without shooting Kenny can’t you just walk away after finding AJ in the car?
wrong somehow my alone ending point a gun at him
I don't know about that; I thought the only two paths towards the alone ending was to either shoot Kenny and abandon Jane, or let Kenny kill Jane and shoot Kenny afterwards. Neither of these are relevant in my case, though, because I wasn't able to link my choices between games and my choices from the story generator disappeared when I started episode one.
My Clementine page at the end of the season says this:
Could it also have something to do with Javier fighting David or not? I chose for Javier to fight back after two [I love you]'s but maybe it would have been different if I hadn't.
You guys forget the factor of you saving Clem during the Conrad conflict or not. My Clem killed Kenny and went with Jane and she shot David in that scene, but I also shot Conrad.
There is, its a good ending although Wellington will always be my 'canon' ending.
Do you mean the game can end with Clem staying in Richmond???
I thought so at first, but she can not stay in Richmond and Javi doesn't even bother going along to help a kid >_<
It's decided from your season 2 choice where Kenny and Jane fight.
-If you shot Kenny, Clem will shoot David in the shoulder.
-If you let Kenny kill Jane, Clem will hold David at gunpoint.
I did both didn't fight David and in my next one only chose to fight him, in both clem pointed the gun at him.
Damn, I recreated my saves, that means Clem shot Kenny for me
This has not been confirmed by staff, but from anecdotal comments here on the forums, it seems to be a consensus that the choices are determined by the following:
The episode 2 flashback plays a big part in what clem does aswell
Damn. I guess that means that the standard no-save/no-choices Clementine let Jane die and killed Kenny afterwards. Fucken' brutal.
I played a save with each ending. Jane and Alone she shot him and Kenny and Wellington she pointed it so that was my guess
Honestly a rather silly way to determine her actions
What determines what clementine says to david when he's talking to her about him in episode 5?
About AJ I mean
It depends on what ending you got in S2. Idk about the rest, but if you got the Wellington ending she's angry with David that he abandoned AJ. If you got the Kenny ending she'll forgive him.
