Conrad ... Tripp ...

I really don't like him.

"I thought you kicked her ass out"

Really mature Conrad to say that about 12\13 yrs old kid like Clem. She's not an easy child, especially in this season ... She made a lot of problems ... BUT come on why to talk like that about a kid like wtf.

It's make me angry ...

And Tripp? i don't like the way in which he held Clem, I do not understand these adults, really.

To be honest, I think a lot of people like Conrad is because he's triple determinant and he can live through the whole season.

    Well, that and FRAANCINNNEE

  • To be fair, I thought the way Tripp handled her there was kinda funny. Especially now that I see he used both hands.

Honestly, they were within their rights there considering she's repeat visitor who shot a guy while there's a herd outside and tried to cover it up.

I like Conrad mostly because he actually gets characterization and development, not just because he's the best handled determinant.

So you are not supporting these characters because they treated Clem in bad way ?

I am not a big fan of Conrad I have nothing to say about him.

Clem killed Eli so Tripp is not the bad guy here.He didnt know the background. It doesnt change the fact that Tripp is one of the awesome characters in TWD for me.

Well, that is an impressive distinction given the track record beforehand, but I like him for the reason Boss @dojo32161 gave, for being something of a Shadow Archetype to Javier, for arguably being a Kenny-type that successfully strays away from being so close to the original(unlike Tripp and ultimately David), for adding some ethical complexity to the group as something of a Token Evil Teammate, for being the darkest black man we've had so far(unless you really wanna nominate Ralph), and for actually getting the chance to do noteworthy stuff for a while after realizing the error of his ways when so many other characters tend to die relatively soon afterwards, if not immediately.

  • Any harsh treatment Clem got was completely justified. I mean she killed a man and no one is to blame but Clementine for that. Sure you could pull the "It was an accident!" card but she didn't accidentally aim a gun at his head and pull the trigger. And Tripp was pretty damn generous.

  • Is this serious smh Clementine got all of Conrads and Tripps people killed and she gets away with it?

  • Pretty much. It would've been even more explicit originally since Badger visited(since Tripp was supposed to know him) Prescott specifically to capture her.

Yeah, Conrad was an asshole, I'm glad I shot him. The way he treats Clem after you accept his plan is horrible, and he didn't even apologize to her about it. What a fucking scumbag.

  • He is still not better than Ben because Conrad didn't do anything in Episode 5 and just vanishes at the beginning.

You know, he only vanished for one episode while Ben only had 1 episode to be determinant (and died halfway in one of the most emotional deaths). Conrad was still relevant for episodes 3 and 4, let's not just forget that just because he fumbled at the end.

Being a kid does not matter when someone's life was taken. Harsh or not someone was shot because a kid pulled the trigger. I think talking to her in a mean tone of voice is not unjustified.

  • This whole kid argument is just absolutely comedic 4 years into the apocalypse. This is one reason I dislike hardcore Clementine fans because they act as if she's this holy saint who deserves to be treated like royalty and be exempt from punishment and harsh realities.

I don't take non-canon deaths seriously, because that's what they are, not canon. If we took them seriously then that means Mike could drop Clementine to her death in episode 3 even though that's clearly out of character.

She's not mean to kill Eli

That really doesn't matter here, someone died as a result of her actions, she should still be taken in to custody and judged from there. Keep in mind that Tripp and Conrad did not know what happened. Which even if they did Clem was out of line.

Saying ass is not a bad thing to say to a child, especially since she had just killed a man. Saying ass will not destroy her future, will not destroy her life and will not mentally scar her. The apocalypse has come and even if someone is normally hesitant to say bad words in front of kids, you don't need to censor yourself with the world the way it is. Plus someone just died, swear words seem appropriate.

It's really not, especially since she's a teenager. Saying that they should kick her ass out is a figure of speech and not literal. Now if they proceeded to constantly kick her until she left out of town with broken bones I'd consider the line to be broken, but saying a swear word is not bad at all. I've seen kids younger than Clem who swear, is it suddenly the worst thing in the world if they swear in front of other kids?

  • Look at this way, you aim a gun at someone's head and pull the trigger, the most likely scenario is that somebody's gonna die. Clem screwed up there, there's no denying that.

He who thinks saying a cuss word to a 13 year old is traumatizing has obviously never listened to how 13 year olds talk amongst themselves. Teenagers aren't babies; they've had a lot of time to pick up on things.

  • how is that related? I'm not talking about how Clem will get it, an adult does not have to talk like that about a kid, it's disgusting. that it.

  • The fact that she acted like the jam outside the gates was the first time it happened, for one thing. I seriously doubt she never would've tested the bullets during her journey when I'm pretty sure a pistol is still quieter than a shotgun.
