Why wasn't Clementine the Playable Character?
I am just gonna say that the fact that Clementine wasn't the playable character in the new frontier was retarded. This is just because I could never make the right decisions with Clementine. I feel obligated to take care of her in that game, meaning all my decisions were first questioned,"What would Clem want?" I really hope they learned from that mistake and make Clem the playable character or AJ in season 4. What did you guys think about Javier being the Playable character and not Clem? By the way the walking dead season 3 has been my favorite season yet, I just feel like my decisions were Clem's.

It was the worst season honestly. Every aspect was worse than S1 and S2.
I don't like Javi being the playable character as well though.
Clementine is telltales best and worse asset for the walking dead which to an extent is sad and comical.
The reason I liked season 3 so much was because the fact that they wraped up the coming of age story really well. S1 Clementine is a cute little girl who needs taken care of. Season 2 she is learning how to survive and make difficult decisions. Season 3 wrapped up the coming of age story well by showing the fact that she is very responsible for herself and is now becoming the care taker. Playing as Javi was kind of a way to develope Clementine further. I just feel I could have developed Clem as Clem.

Maybe Telltale thought people would get annoyed we're playing as a Clem again for another season so they made us play as Javier and made Clem a side character.
I didn't mind playing as Javier and i don't really give a shit about puzzles and hubs. The lengths of episode 3 - 5 were alright for me. I actually thought ANF had potential to be better than s2 at some point lmao.
But man this fifth episode was such fucking bullshit. I was David's bro throughout the entire game and i always rejected Kate but David goes apeshit no matter what in episode 5. What a fucking joke
To be blunt, it wasn't her season. I hardly think Clem being a supporting character for one season is that big a deal. It was Javi's story, it's as simple as that. Also I love Javi and really hope he returns.
I don't see how and why he would return. Plus he'd most likely being ruined or killed like Lee,Luke and Kenny.
I think Telltale really wanted a change of pace, but the mixed complaints about Clementine in Season 2, whatever happened with the Michonne DLC(I don't know how it did and I don't think I can trust the words of biased fans), the people who were spamming "No Clem, No Buy," and certain issues with production caused them to try and fail to do things halfway, often backing out of their bolder moves a little while after making them.
Lol why is everyone on here being such an asshole about you liking season 3 more? I liked the previous seasons more but I'm not going to laugh at another person just because I disagree with them.
i agree, personally i believe that it is extremely weak and mediocre at best, but i don't give a shit if someone likes it the most. good for them, they were able to enjoy it.
I love Javi, however season 4 needs to focus on Clem. I'd love having Javi show up as long as he is the deuteragonist and not the other way around.
Good because they have created a universally loved character who has helped build their most successful series and make them into the mainstream company they are now. Bad because without Clementine this series looses what little life and success it can amass from here on out.
