How do you feel about Javi not dying?
Like, every male character that has led Clem along has died. (Lee, Luke, Kenny)
I'm really glad he didn't. Clem losing people left and right gets really old after a while and I do feel that extended game over screen was really well done (The one where Javi says his goodbyes to Gabe). Also, I've gotten really attached to Javier over the season, and the fact he got confirmed as an LGBT protagonist makes me even happier he lived, even if it does feel like pandering.
Thoughts?

So you basically like him just because he was confirmed gay?
I'm happy they put him on a bus instead of pointlessly killing him off for petty reasons. I just wish they did the same with Gabe too.
Break 4+ trends at once, ya know?
I literally never said that was the only reason. Where did I say that "Javi being bisexual is the only reason I liked him"?
I liked him because he was likable, had some decent development, and was just a really decent character. He reminded me of Luke in a way.
it was nice, but he touched clem's hat and may never even appear again. his sexuality being announced in the last few moments of the season didn't really make any sense; we should've known it from the start. it just goes to show how little we really knew about these characters.
He had decent development, but going back on what I said earlier it kinda wasn't enough to make him a stellar protag. Sorry I keep switching around, lol.
They likely just threw it in for the comic fans.
I'm okay with him living to the end.
I know Javier wasn't exactly a favored character to play as but killing the protagonist at the end of a Walking Dead game is kind of a one trick pony. Lee Everett's death was done really well and they won't be able to pull it off again, I can tell you that much. Javier's death wouldn't have been nearly as emotional as Lee's.
Just because you're playing as someone in The Walking Dead game doesn't necessarily mean they're going to bite the dust in the finale.
I'm glad he's not dead... (yet?) though I managed to get trolled by Telltale when I stumbled upon his non canon death scene lol
Yeah, admittedly, that is kinda funny. Did you see the twitter post they did that time?
It would have made zero sense to kill him especially since It would render ANF pointless.
Nope, I didn't. I don't have twitter account but as a whumper I appreciate that scene.
"You touch the hat you get the splat"
As long as s4 will be the focus on clem again I don't give a quack about Javiers survival
IM TRIGGERED!!!!
Javier not even gay why everybody talking about it
He is bisexual.
I'm glad he survived. He was a very likable protagonist, and killing him would have served no other purpose except shock value.
don't look like he is
But what if Javi is "the one who didn't die"?
He'd be making it into the books if he gets out of the hat curse (mostly) unharmed.
Someone from Telltale confirmed he is.
Someone from Telltale confirmed he is.
fuck, double post.
lol i believe they just want people to think that whoever as them about it
I'm happy he lived, but I hope we don't see him for a while. He hasn't really grown on me as a PC like Lee or Clementine. If he was a side character next season like Clem was in New Frontier, than I wouldn't mind.
The guy that wrote episode 5 confirmed that Javi is 100% Bi...
I'm just glad his conclusion is not death.
