Kenny's Hat?
I don't know if this has been asked before, but I always wondered what happened to Kenny's hat. I know you can grab it in one of the flashbacks because I grabbed it. The thing is I don't know where it went because if she put it on her backpack, by the flashback on episode 3, she doesn't have her bag anymore and when David kicks her out I'm pretty sure she doesn't have anything. So yeah, I'm pretty lost.

The ending touches on it if you did pick it up. I doubt it will play any physical role in the games to come. More likely it's going to determine/influence something like sentimentality vs. survival instinct in Clem, if anything.

It doesn't. That hat is the guy who dies in episode 5 that stabs you in episode 4. I replayed it with the alone ending and the hat was still there so its not Kenny's
Well I mean, they didn't technically forget about it-- it is specifically mentioned in the "your Clementine became" screen if you grabbed it

I wasn't aware of any hat being at the Church memorial wall, so someone'll have to confirm his statement.
I don't think they'll bring it back. Maybe just maybe a quick mention to it or 1 second screentime (xD) but that's it.
