Nothing. He just ran out to get Luke and Sarah help and ended up dying from being bitten before he reached the exit.
Only Jane is visible fighting in the background. Because of course she is.
No, dude, they were all there, just hiding behind that one zombie. You know the one. They totally had screentime.
Dude. What you don't know is that Nick had the most screentime of anyone there.

Ha. Yeah, "important."
Honestly, Nick is a perfect example of the odd messages you can get from taking that Season apart. It seems like he only got so much focus, backstory, and development because he had shit to do with the Carver stuff.(Though Sarah is still a bit egregious for that same reason. )

To be fair, it's pretty clear that everyone besides Pete had (or would've had) more of an arc had Nick Breckon(and/or Sean Vanaman)'s still plans been more adhered to. With Nick, I get the feeling that while his arc was more or less over, it would've had some carry over effects into In Harm's Way.
Unfortunately, early story edits, writer changes, an overly large cast, and drastic shifts in focus/direction led to the collective Season 2 we got.

Well, VengefulKenny recently noted, it's possible that Kenny was the one to discover Matthew's knife and he told Walter about it after Bonnie left. So there'd be room for tension there if it was confirmed to him that Nick shot Matthew, further worsening his rivalry with Luke as a side effect.
However, either way, Nick definitely should've been affected by Walter's death if he saved him. Alternatively, there could've been an option to tell Luke that Walter let Nick die.
I don't think so. When Kenny said "Walt and me gotta have a talk" it was about Bonnie, not the knife.
Sorry to say it, but telltale dropped the fucking ball with season 2's writing. It's actually embarrassing.
Not only would it have been OOC for Walter to go snooping through a little girl's backpack, there was literally no time-frame for him to do it. Maybe if they kept that scene where Luke and Clem talk in the bathroom, it could be mildly believable.

I know and it doesn't really make much sense for Kenny anyway, but it was an interesting thought..

Well that or they could've just failed a pretty bad spot check. Again.

I know. And honestly it IS the closest thing to an explanation we've got without asking the writers how they dropped the ball so hard.
Anyway I'm too lazy to check the scene again, but Clem's backpack wasn't open when she put it down right?
I'd see love to see Christa again. I mean... I'd prefer to see Omid but..
I don't mind if Lilly returns but why would she? After what she did I can't see Clem being too pleased to see her.
That makes me think that, if we do see Lilly again, she'll be happy but remorseful when she sees Clementine, but since none of Clem's mentions of Lilly since the shooting have been positive in some way, Clem probably won't feel the same way.

She won't have Lilly's hair thingies anymore.
Would seem like a missed opportunity to me.
Imagine if Lilly found out Clementine kept those for several years and/or was still wearing them. It would probably break her heart and make her feel even more guilty.
There, I just came up with a more emotional scene than anything in ANF.

I don't believe Clem cared enough about Lilly to keep her items that long especially now with the hardened Clementine personalities seen in New Frontier. So by the time S4 is out possibly 5 years will have passed and Much like Kenny throughout season 1 they didn't interact allot on screen anyway. And according to season 2 it would seem Kenny and his family ranked higher sentimentally than Lilly and her dad.

She still technically had bigger, more meaningful impacts on Clementine that Kenny did back then.
And according to season 2 it would seem Kenny and his family ranked higher sentimentally than Lilly and her dad.
That's partially because Kenny was actually there for her to properly(?) establish a sentiment with. Plus, she was also friends with Duck, so there's that too.

What meaningful impacts besides the hair thingies? I doubt it'd be that tough to discover or create hair thingies on a scavenger run somewhere like Howes.. If you mean more negative impacts like killing and stealing than Kenny then yeah I could agree. Also doubt they'd have a hug Lilly option if Lilly replaced Kenny during "A House Divided".
That's partially because Kenny was actually there for her to properly(?) establish a sentiment with.
In the beginning it seemed the game was trying to make it open to choice whether Clem could establish sentiment with Kenny's returned presence.. then later on they kind of made it forced sentiment even if you disagreed with everything Kenny did and the rest of game characters still basically called you both best of chums in spite of that... Even if Clem (your version) determinately wasn't that fond of Kenny. I think she would care even less for Lilly if she returned due to the burned bridges and bad taste she departed with. Even Molly left on better terms so...Those hair things if that's the meaningful impacts your aiming for are kind of more likely kept out of the necessity of keeping the hair together.. so as to make it less of a walker or attacker grabbing hazard unless season four proves this personal theory wrong. Not really because she loves Lilly as much as AJ or Lee. Her cap is likely sentimentally kept though and helps keep her hair together when snug on the head as it is.
Still think Lilly could of made interesting impacts on the story versus Christa though. I know it sounds like I dislike Lilly, but I just think she was very under utilized in these future installments and Kenny very over utilized.

^ Clem still thinks about Lilly having shot Carley/Doug. I think the meat locker incident left an impression on her of everyone involved. Whatever Clem's opinion of her, she still dreams and talks about Lilly, which I think she would do even without the hair ties.
They do show lilly being friendly to clementine while she's drawing, albeit without sound through Jolenes video camera. That and the hair thingies and we can safely say they had a positive relationship, aside from the whole "shooting carley in front of her" thing.
Meanwhile Kenny only interacts with Clementine three times that I know of in season 1 (one of them being optional) and none of them are really positive (kenny scaring her about spiders, kenny telling her to go through the vent in the meat locker, and kenny snapping at her to get on the train) and all are simply 1 line of dialogue acknowledging she's there. Clem being on Kenny's side in season two makes little sense given this.
Hell the last thing she saw of him, was him praising Lee for killing Ben. Yeah, that'll leave a good impression.

To be fair, she kinda walked into that one. Especially since she didn't really like how Lee cut it at first.
Incidentally, it also acts as roundabout explanation for why Mariana's hairstyle had an obviously chopped off ponytail.

Mariana's hairstyle looks kinda weird and seeing her from certain angles(particularly the back) gives off the impression that Javier mainly just chopped off her ponytail since it's the longest part of her and he didn't actually know how to do her.
PS. Sorry it took so fuckin long to actually post this little bit. I kinda got sidetracked on a mental tangent for a while. That happens more than I'm comfortable with.

I think the only safe thing to assume there was that Lilly was sometime kind to Clem like most of the adults. Not that Lilly was more dear to Clem's heart than Kenny. Even Larry seldom displayed concern over the wellbeing of Clementine occasionally. And I doubt Clementine liked Larry more than Lee.
last thing she saw of him, was him praising Lee for killing Ben. Yeah, that'll leave a good impression
She also last saw Lilly herself attempting to kill Ben and determinately killing innocent Doug. Or just flat out killing Carly point blank and this ought to scar Clem for life. Kenny wanted to kill Ben didn't have it in him to do so and in fact does the opposite as seen in game.. Shows that neither character was a saint. Just from the observable in game evidence thus far I would believe Clem would favor Kenny over Lilly sentimentally unless this is a Clem that went with Jane then it's possible that Clem doesn't ultimately care much about Kenny either. She might of kept Lily's hair ties after her haircut if she decides to go back to the pigtails..but she could of also tossed them in favor of her new look.

Not sure why you felt the need to say that considering I was just acknowledging the determinate nature of the choice to emphasize that Kenny was being a dick either way.
With that said, "My Canon" as you say gives a more satisfying payoff for both characters and is one of the main examples as to why Season 1 was great.

If he would've killed Larry for becoming a potential threat to his family, he definitely would've killed Ben for being a definite-but-accidental one.
