But I can't get convinced that he's the type of killer to take out a kid like Ben over a stupid indirect accident. Beat his ass yes.. but what otherwise stopped Kenny from withdrawing his gun and pulling a Lilly move on Ben if he really wanted to kill? Then shortly after Ben stands up to Kenny backyard. Kenny now respects or cares for Ben enough to nearly sacrifice his life for the "killer" of his family?
If one of Christa or Lilly have to come back, I would choose Lilly. I quite like the idea of Clementine being under the leadership of Lee, Kenny and Lilly all at different stages of her life.

But you don't know for sure that Kenny wouldn't have killed Ben if Lee and Vernon hadn't restrained him.
No I don't know, I just hun… morech that Kenny would beat him to the point of almost murder or Clem Christa and or Molly might speak sense into him. Molly was capable of beating anything into Kenny. But she was selfish heroic so unless. Clem gave her sad kitty eyes again or it benefitted her she wouldn't have Ben saving Ben in spite of being most qualified to. Hope you caught that last pun.
With that said, "My Canon" as you say gives a more satisfying payoff for both characters and is one of the main examples as to why Season 1 was great.
Kenny trying to save Ben?
I disagree, but only because the execution was poor. The idea was great. But they make it look like Kenny is committing suicide when he literally had a speech about not committing suicide about, uh, 2 minutes prior. What the fuck.
And it's just not as dramatic or as much of a finale as the Christa scene. You could actually believe he died in that building. Meanwhile, somehow Christa and Omid can't see where Kenny went when they're right above him? Yeah... right.
Now the christa scene is dumb because it could have been easily avoided, yet the pay-off is much more dramatic and satisfying. Especially with Lee implying that Kenny KNOWS that christa is pregnant. And Kenny presumably not wanting Omid to lose his wife/fiancee like he lost his. It just feels right.
Man, either way though, Kenny shouldn't have had his sacrifice invalidated in season 2.
Or it may have been a subconscious effort make her a Distaff Counterpart of Gabe. As redundant as that probably fuckin sounds.
Maybe he just got too creative. Or maybe he was shaken by what had happened and couldn't hold the scissors steady.
Or maybe the developers are trying to appeal some trendy millenial crowd or something.
Who knows? It's just so mysterious.
my canon>your canon
Not sure why you felt the need to say that considering I was just acknowledging the determinate nature of th… moree choice to emphasize that Kenny was being a dick either way.

Interesting if it's actually true. But why did that idiot get fancy with Clem's haircut?
Idk. Probably thought his barber skills had improved by that point. Of course, he realized just how wrong he was after the deed was done.

I'm not at the computer 24/7 you know. I do other things.
Good.
It's a difficult balance between these two. First, after Season 2 I was dying to know what became of Christa. Then, I mentioned something about how I felt about Lilly in a post many years ago. Since then, I've gained a respect for this broken character.
I...I just don't know who to choose from. Both are strong women. Both dealt devastating blows. Clementine may be the one to help them out of the darkness, if possible.
I know this isnt a popular opinion But I would prefer if they were both just dead. More so Lilly because I cant forgive her for killing Carley and Christa was never that much of a interesting character to me.

Yah and that sucks. Doug was a good dude. Even saved both Carly and Ben once upon a time. He just wasn't the "pretty girl" with the gun and titts I guess. More like nerd with pot belly, and remote control for most folks I suppose. Carly wasn't even in more danger than Doug I felt and more gamers saved her at the drug store over Doug I've said time and again. Not that I'm hating on Carly but she always overshadowed Doug immensely when you compare them.

That is another interesting facet to her, yes.
Lilly would make that feel full circle I think. Season 4 needs the return of Lilly whether by cameo or supporting character.
Nope. Sorry. Not too bright, I am.
Sounds about right.

Yeah. And being good is... good.

I intentionally misspelled "been".
Ah.

Lilly can do the same to Doug as she did Carly depending on your last choice from episode 1 of season 1.
Apparently Doug doesn't matter because shallowness.
RIP Doug
