I think Tiffany might call herself Batgirl because I can see her being more of the in the trenches kind of 'sidekick' to Batman than Avesta.
Avesta strikes me as more of the in the shadows 'Lucius Fox' replacement than Tiffany (and if she did I can't help but wonder how Tiffany would feel about this)
However at the same time Tiffany calling herself Batgirl while it is possible (maybe her way of paying homage to the man who took her in instead of trying to arrest her)
I can't help but think maybe she would call herself something in honour of her dad maybe something to do with her last name like "The Fox" I know that's a bit obvious but strikes me as being more likely she kind of proved in season 2 she's not the kind of girl to follow the rest of the pack so whatever her 'hero/vigilante" name is it would be unique to her rather than being a 'rip' on somebody else's.
