    6. You only need Acid De Singe+Wax from SKULL! (red+blue) Thought it was one of the most obvious, don't get why people bothered to mix up many different combinations when it clearly was purple that you needed. And I thought the acid were the only thing that really could melt that shit.(After I used it on cat just to see what happens)

I didn't have a problem with getting the right color but with getting the right shape i.e. I was looking for something to use as a stencil and I was simply surprised that the shape came automatically after adding the final ingredient. What mislead me was the fact that when I first presented the burnt leg in court the judge said that the burn at least needs to be the right COLOR whereas after I got the right color (in my opinion) the judge said that it at least needs to be the right SHAPE (capitals as in game). Hence I was looking for a stencil while I overlooked deSinge's acid.

That's the flaw in it, though. The puzzle was designed so charging the carpet required more walking than it takes to walk out of the bar, so you could do it accidentally just coming and going, you actually had to purposely pace on the carpet a bit.

Well that's what the puzzle is all about, hence I wouldn't call it a flaw . After all if the carpet got charged enough simply by walking in/out of the there would be no puzzle to solve. And I don't think I'd like to buy an adventure game which solves its own puzzles.

Sorry, poor wording, what I meant was more like that was the flaw in his logic, the key element that hints the solution to you but doesn't solve the puzzle for you.

You basically can figure out the static puzzle easily... didn't you wonder why Guybrush keeps on getting shocked once he leaves Club 41?

Yes, that's the key to this puzzle - and that's why I didn't solve it. Actually, I think it's a good puzzle, after all.

Breaking the witness by saying "you're lying" was a joke - I thought it was a brilliant play on expectations.

Agreed! It was quite clear from the briefs, anyway.

In general, this episode had the best puzzles of the series, IMO - great job!

A really fun and actually quite an easy puzzle in my case. The only thing I spent a minute on was
how to use esponga with carpet.
Still I enjoyed this puzzle although I admit that before
going to club (or leaving it to be precise) I also thought of looking for electricity in deSinge's laboratory.

I knew I had to use it, I just didn't get the movement until after I had it hinted. I was logical, but silly as it didn't connect in my brain

Those who prefer the cartoon based (CoMI) adventure games might now see the advantages of 3D engine. They should make more puzzles including physics. Whoever got the idea of the shock puzzle and made it real, I salute you!

I don't really see your point here

No, the worst puzzle in the game was
using the hook hand as a lock pick
three times in this episode alone, especially since Guybrush doesn't comment
    "It couldn't be that easy..."
until the third time, when he's already done it twice before. It might've been a little clever the first time,
putting the solution right under our noses, but after that it had me wondering why they even bothered locking things anymore.

Oh god, yes! But it wasn't the puzzle, it was just the general lack of polish.

My personal worst puzzle was the leg lamp with the paw thing... Surely it's perfectly logical to use something long to try and knock the paw out of the monster's mouth? "That doesn't need illuminating", apparently.

Oh come now! We already saw the Jungle Beast take the bait of severed legs, so I thought using the leg lamp to stop it biting me to be perfectly logical. It's all about lateral thinking :)

Yes, I agree, the solution makes sense... but MY solution also made sense (is my point).

Actually, I thought the lamp light was just a big stick large enough to keep anything open. I completely forgot about the fact that it was shaped as a leg!

We've always been slaves to the designers intentions. That is the life we adventure game players must lead!

That reminds me of when, in Curse, you were surrounded by treasure and Guybrush wouldn't pick anything up but the bag of wooden nickels, and when he did he sounded disappointed that it wasn't something better.

Which isn't what you're saying, but I was still reminded of it.

I've seen people complaining about EMI for being 3d and thus looking shit. Sure it didn't look as good as curse and they didn't use the 3d in EMI for such an awesome puzzle. So now in Tales they are taking better advantage of the 3d.

The shock was poorly placed. Not particularly a bad puzzle. I spent time trying to use the sponge on the exit since I noticed the shock.
It was probably my least favourite puzzle of season 1

The shock was a hard puzzle for me too.
