Personally, I think chapter 3 was your funniest And my brother thinks chapter 4
But when it comes to pure epicness, this episode takes the cake.
Some things that stand out
~Guybrush falling off the minecart.
~The SCUMM(tm) scene
~The bad English
~The simple pirate god. And very easy to animate I assume...
~The singing LeChuck theme that gets disappointed when the paper goes away.
~Singing... in all it's forms.
~The ACTION!
And now it's all over. *sniff* I'd be fine ending it here, it really is an epic finale, but. is there any chance of a "I Wounder What Happens After Monkey Tales of Monkey Island"?
I'm sorry to say that I agree with what Anarion said...It was good in and of itself but it wasn't anything like I was expecting...

Well, yea I agree what your saying. I was just disappointed that they chose to concentrate the whole thing on escaping the underworld and didn't even touch on what happens after he's escaped which IMO would have made for greater laughter material, (fighting le chuck, saving elaine etc) but mainly I was just disappointed at how little it made me laugh...

I loved the scene when guybrush grapples across to the white door with the infamous rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle. Btw.. where did he get that from anyways? Is it in the same category as the shovel that's just self-written that he has with him all the time regardless (even if he is naked..)?

That was amazing! And I'm happy to hear it was an intention Robot Devil reference. I've always enjoyed the parts of Futurama where the Robot Devil sings.
However, I've watched the video a few times now, and I still can't figure out what "you should've been dead, and now this closure, it's an analytic review" means.
When I wrote the lyrics I kept thinking "Oh man, Guybrush went through so much, he really should have been dead by now. He died a couple of times and went through death defying situations..."
I laid back in my chair.
"Telltale is crazy... They killed Guybrush! They're closing the circle."
I ran my fingers over the piano keys.
"The Curse of Monkey Island caught up with him."
I liked the sound of the notes I played.
"He always had to fight forces of evil. He almost "teased" them by "almost dying" so many times... They got used to that. This event won't be so great for them... it's more like an analytical review. Nothing special, JUST an analytical review. They draw the line, "calculate", review the calculations and conclude that it's his time! Finally! The Curse caught up with him."
I wrote down those ideas, lyrics started to form... there you have it. The chorus.
At least that's what was running through my head at that time. I showed it to Majus, he loved it, we kept going from there. Hope that helps you get it.
Oh my gosh, I already said it in Majus' blog, but I have to say it again - this... was... BRILLIANT! You guys are so amazing! I almost feared you wouldn't be able to top your last episode, but you really managed to surpass yourselves yet again! I LOVED it!
And yeah, I felt reminded of the Futurama episode "Hell is other Robots", too. That was awesome!
Really, everything was SO great! The astonishing backgrounds, the camera rotations, the singing, the lyrics, the suspense, the rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle, the verb interface... EVERYTHING! The Pirate God seemed a little disappointing first, but with all this simplicity, it was funny in the end. Really, guys, you totally made my day with this little flash movie!
I really really hope the real "Rise of the Pirate God" game can live up to the high expectations you built with that!
