I think the sentiment of that song would be wrong for De Singe (since he doesn't believe in voodoo), but... my goodness, Disney does the best songs. I love that upbeat jazzy part at the beginning.
So did Santino and Noogie die by the sword of LeChuck? I'm a little confused. I thought this Bugeye-Guy and DeCava were the ones, who killed Noogie. (Dunno about Santino's death.)

It's not really required to be killed by LeChuck to have a grave in the crossroads, apparently.
Never mind De Singe, I want to know why Santino didn't appear at the Crossroads!
I assumed that because his gravestone said "too awesome to be put in a grave" (or something like that, I'm paraphrasing), we wouldn't run into him. Maybe he had already past on, or was partying it up somewhere else, or something. Either way, he's waaaay too awesome to hang around a small place like the crossroads.
On the original topic: I think the Crossroads is just a stopping point. It's part of the afterlife, but it's not the whole afterlife. There are probably other places that souls of the dead can go, and the crossroads is just that - a branching point. I doubt that there are only five or so souls in the entire crossroads... not after all the talk about LeChuck going on a killing spree. Plus, DeSinge doesn't really fit a swordsman, thief, or treasure hunter... he's probably somewhere more fitting for him.

He's not killed or dead. Galeb is Nor Treblig, the eternal keeper of the crossroads.
*WOO*
Nor Treblig is an anagram of Ron Gilbert!
Not really an anagram, it's just backwards.
There's a reason we don't constantly bring that point up.
that would be Gilbert Ron =/, but nice try
...you're not smart.

neither are you so shut up
I can't believe TTG missed that opportunity!
