My resolution is to get bills paid off and take a personal vacation.

Want to do some sort of cover of A Pirate I was Meant to Be now, but none of my friends play Monkey island and I can't play any instruments. Especially not since my Clarinet has been broken for years.

I'm a little on the underweight side, currently at 6st 12. The good thing about being thin is the hourglass figure it's provided me with, but I don't think adding a few pounds will change that. :p

Thinness or heaviness has little to do with the body shape you have. It's all about how your body distributes the fat in the body.

Would love someone to do a Pacman DX on those old school 3D dungeon crawlers, (e.g. Might and Magic).

My resolution for the year is to somehow find a way to be MORE annoying. I will begin by bothering Tope and Dashing about their adherence to the RRRUUURRRUUUs. Inside jokes, bitches!

I've started playing a little game I like to call "How many tabs can you have open without going insane?"

    my current tally is 10.

There's a Firfox extension that displays how many tabs you have open and keeps a record. My record is 185 on April 5, 2009. Absolutely no idea what I was doing that day.

Maybe you had one of those someone does something for 10 minutes on a loop in all the windows and your mind has blanked the memory out.

Why does it not feel like 2011?

Why does it not feel like 2011?

Because it was 2010 for a whole year and you've become too accustomed to it.

I think I'm starting to hate optimism and starting to love meanness, hatefulness, and cynicism. Like, a lot.

Hmm wonder what my resolution will be.
I guess there would be a lot if you come to think about it.

I dunno. I don't have a reason. Maybe it's because cynicism comes to me naturally, but I have to work at optimism, and I'm really lazy. Or changing with age. Or a phase. Or MAN-opause. It's like menopause, but for men. Okay, I may have made that up.

I think cynicism is the easiest path to take when you open yourself up to the world.

Happy New Year everyone! Okay, so I'm a bit late, but I've been busy drinking and playing Kinectimals.

My resolutions for this year are to finally open an Etsy store, lose weight and take a metalworking course. Preferably silversmithing.

Oh, I'd rather try harder at optimism then. I hate paths that require little effort, even if I am very lazy.

On an unrelated note, I really want to see this. I don't know anything about it except that it's a movie set in the Cthulhu Mythos, but any movie that can pull off shots and atmosphere like-

    VaerL.png

    N7UHX.png

    cOHrk.png

-can color me intrigued..or Shoggoth glowing green.

Not saying he would want to, just that he could. The old man's probably a bit frail.

Someone told me about a free music analyser thing online where you give it a song and it lists other songs that sound similar... I can't remember what it's called, does anyone know?
  • edited January 2011
either Slacker.com or Pandora.com probably. I sugest Slacker.

Yeah, Pandora was the one he mentioned! Thanks. :)
  • edited January 2011
I wouldn't use Pandora unless you intend to pay to use is. Last I checked (Which is around when I stopped using it early this summer) it has a limited amount of music you can listen to per month for free users, and that number can be reached within two days.

I just watched a weird Youtube video. Part of it goes, and I quote:

    TV Says
    Donuts are high in fat
    Kazoo
Found a hobo in my room
    Its' Princess Leia
    The Yodel of Life
    Give me my sweater back
    Or I'll play the guitar

Here it is for anyone interested: Hyakugojyuuichi!!!

Skype D&D? May I join? Also, I should learn D&D first.

I'd have to check with the guys, but I'm sure you'd be welcome. D&D actually is pretty easy to learn these days. 4th edition stripped it down a lot and that's what we play.

I actually had to learn the Second edition rules for a campaign I didn't even get a chance to be in. I made a Ranger, his species enemy was Rabbit. Luckily the DM was as big of a smart-alek as I am, he allowed it. Too bad I never got to play.

I must admit that I've been wanting to learn how to play D&D for a few years now but I don't think I know anyone who is into it or are also interested about learning it. It's sounds like the sort of thing I would have been interested in when I was growing up but I didn't really know about it then and so I'd like to make up for it now.
