What's really ironic about it is that just a few minutes before these rumors started spreading, fans had heard another rumor about actresses they were in love with, and were praising Nolan as a genius yet again, only to have their hopes and dreams crushed like ants. It was funny.
I pulled out my back yesterday. Been on two types of painkillers since and it still hurts, and my left leg hurts as well. I'm pretty sure it's a sciatica, but I hadn't had one since my honeymoon two and a half years ago, and it SUCKS!
I'm going to blame it on not having exercised in the past few days, but it annoys me that it happened the day I wanted to start working out again (before I actually tried to, too. I wasn't doing anything in particular).
Hopefully I'll be better soon. It usually help if I do a lot of walking and standing, and don't sit or lay down too much, but it seems so counterintuitive that I keep wanting to do just the opposite >.>
It's gotten very close to that cold here recently. In any case, I'm sure that many people in Norway have cars with better heaters than mine. I drive a 1990 Ford Taurus station wagon that takes forever to even think about getting warm. Thankfully, the coat I got for Christmas (the one I didn't ask for, not the other one) is incredibly warm, so it was mainly my legs and fingers (in spite of my huge gloves) that were freezing.
Going to an arrangement with my department at work on Friday to see some boring stuff, and then we have to go eat somewhere, and I hate eating out. I feel so stupid and judged, why does my social anxiety have to be put on this test? It's really stressful...
Brrr... the only time I've felt temperatures like that was in Toronto. I swear by that stage you're too numb to even feel cold.
I leave for the airport in 6 hours! Should probably think about packing or something.
Yeah, I wouldn't say that weather like that is normal here, but it's not exactly uncommon for us to get a cold snap that dips that low. Now, if you want uncommon, here's a photo from four years ago.
God, I can't believe my hair was ever that long...
Anyway, if I remember correctly, we got another storm after that. I remember having to excavate our Christmas lawn decorations (two reindeer and a tree) out of the snow like a fossil dig or something. Also, my sister was taken to the hospital the night this picture was taken, septic and severely dehydrated, and she stayed there for an entire month due to pancreatitis, but that has nothing to do with the weather.
Goodness, no wonder you complain about having to shovel snow!
Have I complained? I don't remember. But like I said, that was extremely uncommon. The last blizzard that bad that I can remember was 14 years ago. Here's a shot from the exact same place just now:
And yes, I did just go out in 3 degree weather at 6 am to take a picture of my front yard. It's melted a little, but I only shoveled yesterday and it was VERY cold today, so it hasn't gone down much.
Edit: Augh, you guys bumped the page. Here's the other picture for comparison:
I'm seriously wondering if the people who faved the re-coloring I did of the Poker Night Poster do know I just did the colors T_T
I favourited it and I am well aware that you just re-did the colours. You just did it awesomely. Hence the fave.
I'm having a really odd day today. It started by my remembering my dream from last night. I dreamt that I made purple sausages that tasted of gravy. I have no idea what made me dream that. Anyway, the day got weirder as I have felt a strange need to clean everything. I'm not a cleaner. I'm a lazy little thing. So I grabbed at the strange feeling and cleaned what I could until I got bored again.
I have talked to my doctor and a psychiatrist and I don't think it's really helped. I have thought about trying hypnosis and behavioural therapy.
I found a book, called the Anxiety and Phobia Workbook, that really helped me. It has a bunch of different advice so you can pick what works for you. For instance, I'm not into the natural medicine stuff, but changing my diet, exercising, meditating and gradual exposure all worked great for me.
I would advise you to start really small and be consistent, if you do too much it's overwhelming but if you do it little by little it becomes easier than not doing it as you get used to it.
I'd suggest trying to find that book from the library and see if anything in it is helpful to you.

I hope you find something that works for you eventually. My brother's only regret is that he didn't start trying stuff until his mid-twenties. It's so obvious that he's a lot more relaxed now.
Good luck with it anyway.
In other news, my new Belgian flatmate is rather lovely and has a thorough working knowledge of Australian spiders. I feel small because the only things I know about Belgium are chocolate, beer, and Tintin.

It's okay, these are the most important things to know about Belgium. That, and mussels and fries. Oh, and mention Brel to him or her and you should be fine, hopefully. Are they from French-speaking or Dutch-speaking Belgium? (or neither?)
Wow gamestop is getting cheap on telling me about my purchases.
I preorderd kingdom hearts re:coded for tomarrow and here was the message I got about it today via phone call
Hello this is mary from gamestop with an important message.
Hello this is mary from gamestop. We are pleased to inform you that "a game" has arrived and can be picked up tomarrow.
I get you cant record a person over and over again for each game, and that someone saying the gmae and adding it is the only true way, but when you pause and have someone else just say "a game" that gets pretty cheap.
Cant wait to hear what they do with the 3ds.
At my old store we would call whoever had pre-ordered the game and tell them what time we would be opened and ask if they needed to hold it for an extra day.

Also, that is a lot of snow...and a lot of shoveling...
I feel proud of myself since I was able to fix three problems with my computer today: got the windows to shrink to a more reasonable size (and be clickable), got the direct3d to work, and got the sound to work. All that's left is the disk drive and two finger scroll!

Aw, I'm sorry you feel that way.
Have you ever talked to a doctor about it? One of my brothers did behavioural therapy for social anxiety type stuff, and it helped enormously.
Goodness, no wonder you complain about having to shovel snow!
Fear not, I too was in long hair club four years ago.
Whereas I've been in the long hair club since I was four years old
Gerrout of it box, girls have short hair club. Where guys peek in through the cracks in the clubhouse door and ponder the members sexuality

Considering many of those were probably us, yes we do.

The cheat system and the bugs are actually pretty cool.

A video of the event, compressed in three minutes.
EDIT: Kotaku also has reported it.
Because your doing it wrong.
