I think these forums are finally returning to what they once were. There was a period of about 10 months where I wasn't really enjoying my time here as much; the forums felt different, and they didn't have the same atmosphere. But now it seems things are returning to the same community feel that they had back during the ToMI season. S'good.

There was a period of about 10 months where I wasn't really here.

Finals are over, and I honestly can say I feel as though I've been mindraped. They were rear impossible, not because they were hard exams, but because we essentially had to memorize a whole textbook to solve the questions, which I fail at. I probably got around 50% or so on all the tests but the essay one. Basically, they gave us passages from the textbook with random words removed- we had to fill in the blanks from memory. I can't do that. I did my best, but I don't feel as if the tests here are testing my understanding of the passages, but my ability to memorize verbatim chunks of books.

I definitely have learned quite a bit this semester, but the testing system is the same as the way the Japanese test for everything- testing the ability to memorize heaps of knowledge without any analysis. In my Japanese tests back in the US, we were usually given a newspaper article we had never seen before and were required to write about the topic after reading it. No so here.

Whatever. There's nothing to be done about it now, I've done my best and these grades won't count for anything if I don't want them to (I already completed my triple major requirements in my junior year). But it doesn't change the fact that I still feel like a washout. I know it isn't the case, but, still...

I swear SEGA is doing everything in its power to make everyone hate them.

Sonic 2006 - A very good candidate for worst game ever made.
Sonic 4 - Split up into episodes, (which I wouldn't mind if they were not 1200 points a pop!)
    Sonic Team in general...
    Aweful Movie tie-ins
    Lame Dreamcast "collection"...
Moving one of their good developers Smilebit back into SEGA
-games made since: Mario and Sonic at the olympics, and Virtua striker 4

The good things that SEGA have done:
    - Published Platinum Games titles
    - Other good published games
    - Released a few free games as a promo on Gamersgate
    - Yakuza

I mean there's still good there of course, but I just expect better from Sega.
Former console maker and major games developer.

At this point, I don't expect better from them, I just hope for it.

Remember when I explained the travesty of Japanese pizza? Don't believe me? Well HERE:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=2273&stc=1&d=1295056313

It's recipe instructions for a potato and mayonaise pizza. POTATO AND MAYO. On the back of my crispy crust packaging. Blargggggh. (also, the pizza above that is for squid and broccoli)

I do not defile the sanctity of my Crispy Crust Barbecue Chicken PIzza with the thought of putting MAYO on it. I am going to show my dormmates tonight at our Winter Semester graduation party what real AMERICAN pizza tastes like. In all seriousness, though, I LOVE Japanese food. Just not Japanese pizza. >_<

Also- to coolsome, got my paycheck this morning! Soo...

My mom broke my digital camera so she bought me a new one - a 3D one. :D I love when stuff works out like that.

Besides, the camera on the 3DS is crap. 0.7 MP? No thanks.

    Ehh.
I never really used the camera feature on the dsi.
If anything I would take a photo of me punching at the screen to show off the
    3d to my friends.

Is it? I've heard the editing is a lot less 'reality TV show omg DRAAAAMA' in the British version, though.

Any show based around an angry chef is too irritating for me to watch, as much as I do like many...well, not "cooking shows" necessarily, but...food shows? Then again, I almost never watch TV anymore anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter much.

    Earlier today:

Let's go take my AP exam. Man, I got no sleep last night... And no time to eat anything. Whatever. Sleep deprivation and hunger can't distract me! Oh, hey, just walked past the girl who I like who hates me... God, what can I do? She's really like no one else. How can I get her to give me a chance? How can I--- Oh, hey... The exam's done.

Dammit, even an image search for "Robert Irvine angry" just turns up results of him smiling. To be fair, he's more "intense" than "angry", but come on!
