Dead Space 2 has made me jump twice already. That's twice more than the original Dead Space did.

I'm looking for some free software that will record sound from my computer (similair to ones that record video and sound, like frapps). Does such a thing exist? Any suggestions?

Audacity. Just make sure to change your recording input source (I can't tell you to what, it depends on your sound card), and if you have a USB microphone (like my monitor webcam), you may have to unplug it for it to work. My monitor webcam likes to override my settings and force itself to be the recording source if I leave it plugged in (though thankfully I don't have that problem in Procaster for some reason).

Clearly the staff at number 10 should catch the rat and tame it. Rats make awesome pets.

And I'm going to Venice in April, w00t!

Watch out for the Vampires in Venice.

I was more concerned about the sharks.

I have a mental image of Cameron shooting some cheese in the wardrobe right now.

Also congrats on Venice, everyone I know who's been says it's fantastic!

Hey, he could put the rat to work running in a little wheel that powers a coffee machine. That way the rat isn't claiming benefits, and he doesn't have to claim for coffee on his parliamentary expenses.

Venice is amazing, I was there during the Carnival in 2004 and it was fantastic, all these people in costumes and masks walking around these tiny streets while the fog rolls in off the lagoon. The atmosphere was unlike anywhere else I've ever been. I highly recommend it.

    Better than a Voodoo Shark.

I was wondering if those from outside that whole UK regiony thing had ever seen Only Fools and Horses

It's one of the most fantastic comedy shows to ever come out of Britain with massive acclaim, it''s proof that a show can cater to everyone. If anyone dislikes this show they may well not have a heart.

Here's an episode I plucked at random from youtube

My family loves it... but since we're British we probably don't count. Been in Oz over 20 years, and can't say I know many Aussies that like it. Although, it's not often in conversation. My family does amuse itself by replying 'Mon Dieu' and 'Pot Pourri!!' to each other...

Only thing that interests me about Dead Space 2 is the armor for Dragon Age 2.

My statistics professor is probably the funniest instructor I've ever had. I was considering dropping the class before I went to it, but now I'd rather drop a class that I need to graduate than miss one of these lectures. That's how hilarious she is.

Pfft, everybody's dying to see that thing happen. I'll make it by jamming the grappling hook into Tom's empty eye socket if I have to.

I wonder, though, just how much does a grue weigh, and will his weight be added to my inventory, or will it not because he can technically still walk while tied to my quarterstaff?

On the other hand, that scenario sounds an awful lot like me stuck having to walk Tom around on a leash, and I don't think I want to spend any amount of time that close to Tom.

Good gosh, I was rofling in the floor for a good five minutes.

Also, WTG icedhope. Hopefully I can find a dude as awesome as you. I had one super brief relationship that went nowhere six years ago, and nothing since. X___X

You'd think a lady nerd would be able to find a nice lad nerd... but it's not easy. Guys become one of two things when they find out I have ocular albinism- either they get super scared when they find out or they become way too protective, thinking I'm too fragile and they have to do everything for me. Ugh. I've yet to find a guy who says "so?" and shrugs it off. Well, actually, I've found three awesome guys like that, but all three of them are friends with me and dating three of my girlfriends.

By the way, Iced, I know I'm just over two weeks late, but congrats on 2000 posts!

Yes, I searched your posts and counted 67 back to figure out which one was 2000. What?

I think he'd be rated under push/drag weight unless he walking (in which case all this would do would both lower his speed and yours considerably), which doesn't count as inventory, but still requires a strength check.

The mental image is hilarious, but really, that'd lower your combat effectiveness and let's face it. TomP's not worth that. XP

Also, you guys I'm going out tonight to buy booze for Friday's session. There will be a beer count for how many pint cans of Fosters I need to make it through a session.

That reminds me I need to stock up on cans myself. I'll have to see what is on offer.

Oh thats good. I downloaded audacity for another (extremely geeky) project I am working on. I'll have a fiddle with the settings to see what I can do then. So far i've only been able to get it to record through my microphone, or to use existing mp3s.

    Cheers!

I've done that before. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought of it >.>

It's tricky though because you can't really erase relevant posts, posts you think other people liked (even if you hate them) or posts that have been referred to later on.
Well, YOU probably wouldn't care about doing any of that, but I have scruples!
