Tell me more about your dog? Would you? I wonder if it's male/ female.
  • edited February 2011
His name is Max, he's a miniature pinscher, he's nine years old, and I named him before I was a fan of the Freelance Police. And apparently he injured himself today, because he was acting strange and then yelped while I was holding him.

I do kinda wish people wouldn't mention valentines day.

I prefer to think of it as my quarter-birthday.

My dog is getting old too, we have a puppy too. But our older dog can't play very rough anymore.

On a side note, maybe I should check out different forums to find different people with different interests to expand my horizons. This forum is pretty open ended, we talk about almost anything. There isn't a hard core fan boy community thing going on really.

I post at a Final Fantasy forum, maybe I should expand further.

I didn't even know it was today. I don't feel like it's a very big deal to me.

That's what I like about this place. I can pretty much find someone to talk to about any of my interests, but conversation isn't limited to that, we can talk about pretty much anything.

That's the only reason I stick around.

    I have 2 dogs.
One is a pretty old dog named Hershe
One is an annoying little one named Mocha.

Hershe, is just lazy. Of course she is old, and just lays around all day.
Mocha is physcotic on every level. And is VERY spoiled.

Just finished the online test for my placement at Jagex.

    Man that was tough! :X

I could do with a dog, which sucks cos I'm terrified of them.

Also I like this forum cos nobody's a jerk, which may mean it's me... but still.
  • edited February 2011
    Really? Nobody?
  • edited February 2011
Yeah I worded that wrong. Nobody's been a jerk to me specifically. Or they did it so subtly that I didnae notice.

Hee hee... she is the most beautiful thing.

We only have her because I was a bit naughty. It had been almost a year since our cattle dog died... I wanted another dog, but Mum and Dad said we couldn't have one, at least not for a long long time. They just kept saying, "NO."

Well I was young and a bit reckless, so after uni classes one day I just drove out to see a good breeder in the back end of nowhere (it was HOURS away), and brought this gorgeous puppy home. As soon as I walked in the door with a lovely little bundle of white fur, Mum wanted to be angry but failed terribly. Doggy has been a much-loved part of the family ever since.

Seriously, you cannot say no to that face.

I accidentally had wine for dinner.

It started with one glass and some good conversation with the Belgian, and then there was more wine. I had every INTENTION of making dinner - it just didn't quite happen.

She's absolutely adorable. Is she a Maltese?

My family's had dogs since before I was born, so I always have had a bit of a soft spot for them. We're mostly terrier people though, but we have had a Dalmation and a pocket Beagle in the mix as well.

This is our current dog, an Airedale named Charlie (Short for Charles Bingley. Airedale's hail from an area called Bingley by the Aire river, my family is made up of Jane Austenites...this reference was naturally going to happen). He's also an evil genius, has figured out how to open doors and stuff. He also knows to look at the screen when I'm video chatting with the folks, which makes me a lot happier than it probably should.

When I'm at my grandmothers house again I have to get pictures of her puppies, Cocoa and Star. They're Affenpinschers. Incredibly small and incredibly cute.

Then I have to get a picture of my mom's dogs, Rosalyn and Jericho. Ros is a Rotwieler Lab mix and Jer is a German Shepard and Really Fast Dog whose name escapes me mix.

They are good gaurds. Jericho got used to me really fast over the summer, and when I came back for thanksgiving he was so excited to see me.

Well, I'm incredibly frustrated. For spriting Ocarina of Time areas, the Ocarina of Time debug ROM is invaluable to me. I own something like five copies of the game, so I don't really have any qualms about using an emulated, practically unplayable version of it. I didn't have access to it until around the time that I did some of my most recent work, and it's made things so much easier on me to have the free camera tool, allowing me to get screenshots such as this:

    th_snap0055.jpg

So I had randomly come across a page about discarded data in Ocarina of Time and when I reached the end, I found that they had a page about a Majora's Mask debug ROM. Turns out it was released onto the internet in March last year...and has become completely impossible to find by now.

Well, tomorrow's my flight to Canada, onwards to Vancouver Film School! Very excited. Anyway, I'm leaving only with my hand luggage, so... I won't bring any electronics with me. That means no Internet. And TellTale forums. So, I will be absent for an unknown period of time. Not necessarily until I buy a laptop (but probably), there's a big possibility I will be too busy to surf the net even with a laptop.

Anyway, regardless when we'll see each other on these pages again, I wish you all the best of luck! It's been a blast.

Figures, as soon as I decide to complain to the internet, I find a working download. Let's try it again! Now that I have the ROM, I've come to discover that not only does Project64 not want to run it (black screen), but Project64 also won't run the Ocarina of Time debug ROM anymore unless I load into it using a save state. The best advice I've found so far is to reinstall it. If that doesn't work...well, then hopefully complaining to you guys will once again work and the internet will turn up a configuration guide or something.

Yeah, that tends to happen. As soon as you complain to the internet about problem X, it gets solved a short while after.

I was trying to find a place in Guru's post that I could quote and link to this Majora's Mask related thing, but I'll just place it here.

So, uh, any programmers here that could potentially help me with a homework?

Success yet again! Complain to one part of the internet, and a different part of the internet shall deliver!

In both of these cases, oddly enough, it was complain to Telltale and Youtube shall deliver the answer.

Well my programming skills are through Wario Ware DIY, but what is your problem?
