Just wondering what to do about my CPU. I don't like that the core temps go over 90°C when playing any sort of game. It's at 55°C now and I just have Firefox opened. I think the optimal temperature is around 60-70°C so regularly hitting 90 is getting me worried. Now it could just be a matter of cooling, I know I need to look into ways of improving the circulation around the tower but I'm thinking that a new heat sink would be a good solution as well though if I can't afford that then I'd just have to use what I've got, which does include some thermal compound which I think might do as a temporary solution.
Ideally I'd replace the CPU as I want to upgrade anyway, but to upgrade my CPU means upgrading my motherboard as well which in turns means I'd need new RAM. And so on. My next upgrade has turned into a new build, if I can ever get the money together to do so. With a bit of luck, and a lot of money, I could build a sweet rig. Ah, just dreaming of that makes me happy.
Can someone make my avatar posted here, to whatever it needs to be compatible with steam, I need a new avatar, and when I tried this one it wasnt compatible or whatever.
EDIT:the image must be between 100X100 and 1280X1280 pixels, someone please fix that whatever it means.
EDIT2: Turns out Microsoft Paint has a resize feature, so Im good.
Wierdly it is mostly remembered as a 80s show. It's funny how memory works isn't it?
But regardless, would you guys consider that good party music? It's one of the suggestions I got tonight which just killed me a little, especially because I spent a couple of weeks putting together the 2 playlists which equate to five hours of 80s music I chose specifically because it would be good to dance to.
My sister's dog shat in my room for the second time in three days. On the one hand, at least it's only one spot this time, and she didn't throw up on (or do anything else to) my bed this time. On the other, at least last time it was solid enough to pick up before cleaning.

If you think that's bad you should here about my dog who the jokester who gave her to me actually trained her to GO ON THE CARPET!!!
She is actually trained to do that.
I tried puppy mats and she somehow went UNDER THE THING!!!
Yeah.
My dog is also a spoiled brat(she sleeps with a kangaroo doll) but this story actually could go beyond the forums limit(if there is one) so I will have to cut it short.
I'm sitting here trying to find an instrumental version of "Jump" by Kris Kross as a favor to someone (long story), wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life that it's come to this.
...I just spent an hour listening to instrumental versions of The Kamen Rider W theme to try and distract myself so I won't have a mini panic attack. You're in good company.
I agree with everything said about Telltale in this link. This guy has summed up my current feelings on the company better than I ever could.
He has some very good points, and while I don't agree with everything that he had to say about Monkey Island and Guybrush, I feel that the rest of what he said is undeniably true.
By the way, I think we should have a thread for this. It would make for some good discussion, and you've said yourself that you've been finding fewer and fewer opportunities for quality discussion on these boards.
I'm depressed and annoyed. I spent an age creating a thread and not one person can be arsed to reply and yet I get many a reply to my 'bucket' thread.... what's the point?! Maybe I should audition for the role of the invisible man the next time they remake that!
Dude, it was a great effort, and I was honestly impressed with the topic you made. I had hoped to see people post in it as well, as it would be yet another small sign of real discussion returning to the boards. I wouldn't myself though, because I'm not a fan of the Aliens movies. I only liked the second one, and despised the others. Prometheus is the first time I've ever thought I might like two Alien movies though, especially as they have a great cast going so far. As much as I like Fassbender, though, he won't help me get over the fact that I think androids with yogurt blood are fricking stupid. I'd love to see individual topics about movies thrive on these forums, but there don't seem to be a lot of dedicated movie fans here.
I recommend checking out Superherohype.com. It's a fantastic forum with a lot of dedicated film lovers, and there's a fantastic Prometheus topic on there as well.
So as you all might know by now I'm a huge cartoon addict, so I was watching this thread on TVTropes about Phineas and Ferb, and I then saw something like, Phineas and Ferb and some guest stars, so I took a look at the article.
So yeah, I don't really know who Jane Lynch is that much, mostly since I actually don't watch Glee (not that I think it's gay, it's just that it comes on at a time I watch other things, that and I'm more of a cartoon guy), but it's quite impressive they got Tina F-HOLY SHIT, MICHAEL J. FOX? JAMIE OLIVER? FUCK YEAH!

I love Jane Lynch and not just on Glee I think shes an impressive woman.

Thanks man, that means a lot to me. I know it's against the TellTale forum regulations but that was the reason for me posting the 'bucket' thread in the first place and well, I guess I was proven right. However, I'm so glad to hear that someone (who isn't even a particular fan of the Alien movies) enjoyed reading my thread after I had put so much effort into it.
I'm sick of spending hours, weeks or even months creating various things (such as my fan made adventure game) only to either have a response of "m'eh" or no response at all. It sometimes feels like I'm shouting but no-one can hear me. *sigh*
I'll be checking out Superherohype.com for sure and hope to have some intelligent conversations regarding film and the philosophy within. As for the TellTale forums, I guess I'll start work on the 'Bucket 2: Electric Boogaloo' thread and watch as the 1000's of replies pour in.
Anyway, once again thanks man, you've restored some level of my faith in humanity.
God, drunk people are pissing me off, someone's put a ding my my lappy because they thought it'd be a good idea to try and hop into the DJ booth. Next time someone talks to me, I'm going to strangle them *grumbles*.
EDIT: I HATE EVERYTHING.
EDIT EDIT: I JUST PUT ON "UNDER PRESSURE" AND GOT A CHORUS OF "IT'S VANILLA ICE!". I AM DYING INSIDE.
the game Epic Mafia, I got a gun on a day of darkness. typed out "Attack Ride --- Blast" And shot a mafia member. (Always remember that this is a game) Not only was it awesome, there was a Kamen Rider fan in that game too.

Here you go, how's this:
file
That actually is better quality than the one I made, so thanks.:D
Wasn't that show from the 90s, not the 80s?
1989 - 1993, so sorta.

No problem!
Weird, huh? I' going to seriously have to hunker down and review my finances. Want to go sooo bad...

Even more hilarious: all the youtube comments by people who thought this was real.

That's one more than I liked.
I don't understand how you are doing this.
