I just whittled my Citizen Brown Screenshot Gallery down to 100 images after deleting 222 screenshots. I don't care what's wrong with any of the remaining 100, that was an OCD double critical and I'm keeping them.
Actually, I'm sure it would be fine, just really uncomfortable. In any event, I would most certainly be surprised by the nice red hue of my corneas in the morning.
Nah. That's cool. Fashion statement. To match Blinky.
Have been reading Stanley Kubrick's script for the unmade film Napoleon. You should all check it out ... Napo is such a rule-following nerd in it! at least in the first 12 pages of it ... I like that!

Finally got some thermal compound on my processor. Now instead of running a temperature of around 55°C when idle it's now at around 35°C. Yesterday I hit about 100°C twice when heavy load, now with the same load it doesn't even hit the old idle temp. Such a simple solution to my overheating problems, just wish it hadn't taken so long to do.
Honestly, I think both are awesome, but I can't think of a single thing PA is better than Layton at.
I find the vast majority of Layton's secondary characters irritating. I especially can't stand the villain -
him and his bloody Scooby Doo disguises where the game pretends like it's totally normal and ok that he can change his build, stature, voice and facial structure COMPLETELY with a rubber mask and a suit.
The endings of the Layton games are pretty ridiculous too:
"The entire town is robots!", "The entire town is high!", "The entire town is underground!"
Puzzle Agent is so much classier in those respects. The atmosphere hands-down tops anything I've experienced with Professor Layton. Puzzle Agent's threats are actually threatening. There's some genuine creep-factor going on there... the game scared the bejeebers out of me a couple of times.
... 'course I'll still most likely get the next Professor Layton.
I must now go wrestle cats in my backyard to attain the longevity needed to reach the age when synthesized telemarase is a reality.
Just make sure to leave the backdoor open. I can't count the number of times my rabbit had to beat a hasty retreat to my dad's office desk when the cats proved a bit too tough.
Has anyone else noticed that the threads where we can just talk about ourselves and make no attempt to actually have a discussion or interact with other members, unless we choose to, are the ones with the most posts in them?

HE'S A MASTER OF DISGUISE, IT MAKES COMPLETE SENSE. Besides, his scene in the third game was just awesome. Also, the ridiculous endings are part of the charm, I honestly go into each new game looking forward to the extremmely ridiculous plot twist that still makes sense somehow.
Besides, it's not "The entire town is high!", it's "You're high and the entire town is an hallucination!"
Still, I was talking more of the more objective aspects, which atmosphere and style is better is just opinion. Still, like I said both are awesome.

You're right. At first I thought you were just referring to this thread but, looking at General Chat, the only long-ish threads that involve some sort of actual discussion are the 3ds thread and the Doctor Who thread. Which is sort of sad, considering the discussions that used to take place here.
Having said that, I would also like to add that the irony of posting this in the ultimate "talk about ourselves" thread has been duly noted.
EDIT: Oh, and the DnD thead....forgot about that one.

It's a sad state of affairs, but I think part of it is simply that the barriers to posting are lower in the "talk about your stuff" threads. At least some passing familiarity with a subject is required to add value in any kind of in-depth discussion, whereas anyone can rabbit on about themselves. For me it's often a lack of conviction in my own opinions or the value of what I have to say that stops me posting in the more interesting discussions. I appreciate the good 'uns though even when I don't participate.

Also, the Blinky(tm) (did I do it right?) avatars tempt me to switch mine to something equally "stare into your soul"-ish.
You should BLINKY your avatar. Join the revolution!
Nah. That's cool. Fashion statement. To match Blinky.
Mad with power! We need a more balanced mod. The campaign continues! Pants for mod! Vive la revolucion!
How extremely convenient. I'm watching you. -_-
You may bunny our avatars, but our souls will remain BLINKYs!
Too late. The contact removal process is complete. I will bear this in mind for next time, though.
What was Napoleon about? I like Kubrick alot.
It did get made! I think I've seen it:
That's the same film, right?

Dashing...
Why did you have that many photos?
Here's the link to the script: www.donkeyontheedge.com/i/napoleon.pdf
If you're a huge fan, then I suggest this awesome collectors edition at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Kubricks-Napoleon-Greatest-Movie/dp/3822830658
Sadley, I can't get it, too expensive ...
PS: this is my 131st post in this thread.

This was the first thing I read when I opened up the thread. Oh how I love the absurdity of this thread.
Same with me. Made me go back to find out what was going on.

Aww... I like how he can use his own fat rolls as a pillow.
Couldn't think of any, eh?
So that's what mods see when they look at our posts. How very interesting....

Bieber #1, indeed.
More training for me. It will prepare me for my inevitable modhood.
Whatever could you be talking about?
Just make sure to leave the backdoor open. I can't count the number of times my rabbit had to beat a hasty retreat to my dad's office desk when the cats proved a bit too tough.
What indeed...what indeed...

PA has a better art style IMO. Not saying I don't like Layton's art style, just that I prefer PA.
I laughed. Thanks.
