A metaphoric hell. One without the shining light of our Telltalessiah, Dashing and is filled with Rabbit Stew. Also, all the robots scream at you.
I wish to be no part of any religion that supports this thread's existence in General Chat. You know nothing of my work.

I actually agree with this move.
  • edited May 2011
I think the Rate X topics should be moved here too.

And this is how what would have been the greatest April Fool's day prank was ruined...

    Yes, but it's random discussion!

This thread is also, for better or worse, often about people enjoying looking at themselves post...

You just described the entire Internet. :D

    But, either way, whatever, meh.

A bunch of unrelated posts back to back don't make a discussion.
You just described the entire Internet.
I described very specific parts of the Internet which are cool, and necessary, in and of themselves, but generally suck when applied inappropriately.
    meh.
    You're welcome! icon14.gif

Honestly, I'm in the crowd that would like it put back, because I think it's quite useful for posting cool stuff that doesn't quite deserve its own thread.

Incredibad is just a bit better than Turtleneck & Chain.
    Still a pretty good album.

It's also good for those of us who are moderately terrified of creating their own threads but still want to discuss things in the hope that someone else will start the thread for them.

i would have loved it if that's what this thread actually turned out to be

    but
  • edited May 2011
Yeah, that's not exactly what this thread has turned into. To be honest, as much as I don't like the move, I know that it's necessary, and if Jake hadn't done this, I would've ended up doing something similar or worse to the thread before long.

On the other hand, I lost 1010 posts, while Dashing only lost 355, so that kinda sucks.

That's what it was for me. Now if I want to talk about something I'll have to face my fears and go actually *gasp* start a new thread.

I may need some moral support with this.

you lost 415 because they're now forum game posts

    ie: they don't count

Is it REALLY relevant how many posts you lost as compared to Dashing?? ;)

Whatever happened to Dashing anyway? Did he return to Trogdor-slaying?

    More like gloating.

I still have a respectable post count YAY.

I'll offer moral support, just be warned it'll have a tinge of sarcasm to it, mostly because I am a sad, jaded human being who needs sarcasm to get through the day.

Sarcastic moral support is better than no moral support at all! I accept.

I don't totally understand the post count thing. Does it not include the games forum?

Nope. The forum games section says that posts made here don't count towards your post count.
  • edited May 2011
Well, crap. Back under 1000 posts.

    Maybe not to you. :D

I think it's fantastic, except when winter rolls around and you have to pay for all those extra hours of sunshine with perpetual darkness. It's like living in the Arctic circle.

    I agree wholeheartedly.

Yeah, I really like that song.

I'd love to spend time above the Arctic circle during the periods of perpetual night & day just to take it in.

How about seeing it go down by nine hundred?

My 360 is crapping out on me, which was very annoying last night when I was trying to finish AC Brotherhood. Luckily my friend had his Xbox here and so I was able to use it to finish the game (and get my mind blown, not an infrequent occurrence with this series). Also he still has an older one that is not much in use so I may be able to use that until I can afford to replace mine (can't be bothered getting it repaired as it's an old model one anyway and I fancy one of those newer slim models).
