Davies doesn't need to fly to Ankh-Morpork. He's chopping off Retrovortex's foot.

I don't need to go visit Alcoremortis just yet. Though I do have a hacksaw ready and waiting for her fingers so that she can wear the fancy fingerless gloves I purchased for her. Besides, I've got my travel plans ready for RetroVortex. There's a budget airline near my house that goes anywhere if the price is right, even to the very gates of heaven...

Actually, my local budget airline (PePan Airways) has been running since the Dawn of the French. Their currently pursuing a lawsuit against Peter Pan for infringement. Also, Peter Pan's full of shit, there's a technical science to making use of happy thought fuel. You need a vessel to sit in for a kick off.

Well I've just stumbled upon Rather Dashings posts on the my little pony thread on Good Old Games, and..... oh dear.

You made some very good points Dashing, many of which I agree with (the last very good cartoon I've watched was Samurai Jack (not including Family Guy and Robot Chicken which are guilty pleasures of mine)) but maybe tone it down a little on the Good Old Games forum.

I've been there for a while, and that community has had a lot of angry posters and trolls, so posts like that tend to make them shut down and be dissmissive.
(Plus I'd argue its a much more general forum than here. There are local's there, but its sort of like The Escapists forums, a lot of people with a lot of opinions, and it gets pretty loud (though nowhere near as obnoxious as The Escapist community can get))

My advice is to let it drop man. Each is to their own.

(Also you have excellent taste in cartoons. :D)

Someone HAS to explain to me why I can find so many grown adult males on the internet who will not only be incredulous about the fact that I do not care for "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", but who will then actively INSULT me for this lack of preference.

People tend to be agressive towards others who don't share the same view point.

Its the whole furry rage thing.

I was doodling and ended up with a picture inspired by John Carpenter's "The Thing". It's kind of what might happen if the Thing made its way to Africa...

You'll notice the elephant elements (also note the trunks blending with the human limbs on its back). I'm going to use photoshop to add colour and will post the results in a couple of days.

How can you possibly not like something that makes blatant Doctor Who references? Doctor Whooves anyone?

Apparently there's a paper clip hole you can use to open up the WII on the front of the machine In order to access it you first need to remove a plastic sheet. Also note that doing this may invalidate your warranty.

I'm afraid that I sold my WII and so I can't verify this but you can find some other details on the process here.

Also, there's detailed instructions on how to take apart your console here.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! this version of the physical universe is only above or under neath the layered verses surrounding it. It's not science or math, it's nothing, haahha. We think we know as God knows, we think we have idea as god has idea?

That's fine, I don't care any more, it doesn't make sense at a point. At a point everything is clear and yet you're just totally free even though information or idea should have constraints, logic, boundaries, it's just all the same and yet has several different messages.

Gin? Oh yes we envision only a few possibilities here, it's gibberish, it's drunken-ness, its insanity, it's whatever. Yet we don't understand how we work, we only go off of patterns we've built in our mind as a culture, society, species. We only think in limited symbols, metaphors. Hell, years ago now, they were taking about reinventing math from the ground up, trying to understand the universe. We believe in experiences, physical body experiences within the physical universe. We believe in ideas that can be observed in all physical states, observations of the physical inside of the physical and of choices inside the physical of the physicall.

How mis guided...yet, they'll never see it. So much yet so little.

We think we understand, we don't. We know about the multi verse but we don't know many things. You're detecting patterns, relying on social concepts. Yes, I'm drunk, insane, pale refletion of your physical universe that is.

Or should I say a choice or observation that has been made to see me in this light? There is a million possibilities for and of your universe. You're tied to your local node of the universe, the core, the op like pattern of God is infinite!

Your local node must remain local to be in opposition to other local nodes to create the multi verse and that means your node must remain your node and have laws, natural laws constraints and constants so that it remains your node@ We are NOT God , aware enough to change our node, realty to a greater sense of awareness but we can shape it through observation and choice on this level of awarness. Why is why you can't jump off cliffs and fly like a bird!

You think our petty ideas mean shit? They are only in opposition to other ideas within the multi verse!

My previous comments were not to be taking seriously, I was joking / being a dick, they're often much the same thing when I start cracking my whip of tragically unfunny humour.

I actually think a lot about the concepts regarding the true nature of the universe which you're bringing up. It's fascinating to ponder on and also quite disturbing when I think about such things for far too much time, it can induce a detachment from reality. If that reality is a false perception or otherwise, I personally try not to think about that too often because it makes me go coo-coo crazy nuts mega-time.
