Have a scour on eBay, I only say cos I got my case for £20 brand new on eBay, and fifteen of that the merchant had to spend on postage. But fingers crossed.

Also a picture of my case, which I like very much

If I can find that case on ebay, sure! But I did just find it at a local store for the same price as the online store...only minus shipping. So if I can't find it anywhere else, that's where I'm getting it.

I know, it's not a guitar, it was just the best image I could find by searching for "guitar puppy".

    Your searching skills suck.

I am effing fed up with people not knowing the difference between Irony and coincedence. It's conversations I overhear like these that particularly annoy me:

    Person 1: Where are you?
Person 2: I'm at the mall!
Person 1: I'm at the mall too! How ironic!

So I old my mum I'm probably going to mess up with uni.

She was pretty disappointed but she knows its not all that bad.

My dad however, I could imagine he will freak.

(Well I'm giving the referral stuff a shot at least, but if that fails then I'll have to tell him)

In a few months I should start looking for a weekday job, maybe at a bank or something.
Would be nice to be able to keep the Tesco job as well, since it does have some nice perks to it (10% off discount card, and Sunday overtime are the main ones).

So I go to plug in my 360 controller and play some Left 4 Dead(I cant aim worth crap on a mouse) and I notice my USB drives dislocated themselves, and I cant hook up anything to them.
How does this even happen? My laptop has never fallen, it never takes damage, how does this thing just dislodge itself?
EDIT:Ok I must know, what person designing my laptop thought it was a good idea to add a USB port, right at the corner far far away from the other ports? I got it to accept my controller, but wow that thing is in the most random spot?

You mean you know people who have trouble using one of them instead of the other in a sentence, or people who don't know what collocation means?

God dammit Greece stop bullshitting before you make US COMMONERS PAY FOR YOUR COUNTRY'S FUCK-UPS.

If Greece doesn't get out of debt, the rest of Europe actually notices it through the taxes, from what I understand.

I had a few days to let it sink in, but MAN, that season finale of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated was EPIC. Can't wait until the second (and for now final) season of the series.

I wish I could backup my GameCube games to an external HDD from which to play them on my Wii. So many places I search for information on the subject say that the Wii's USB ports are disabled during its use as a Gamecube.

$12.50 for Fallout: New Vegas isn't bad at all. It's a Steamworks game, so you get a Steam retail key no matter where you buy it.

Maybe I'm way more excited about this than I should be, but after years of frustration, I finally figured out how to disable the automatic restart feature of Windows Update. It still puts up the restart now/restart later prompt (minus the countdown), but without the force restart part, I can live with it.

So yeah, way excited not to have to deal with that frustration anymore.

£8.75 here (so slightly more, but at least the sale is available here too), tempted even though I've already got the 360 version. Plan to get it for PC eventually anyway, so I'll always have it available, plus I like to check out the great mods that always get made for games like these. Still looking to get Fallout 3 for PC on the cheap as well.

I got Ocarina of Time 3D in the post today, and wow. Just Wow.

    I'm loving it so far.

One thing that is bothering me though is that I can't register it yet on club nintendo since the whole phishing thing has disabled the club nintendo account system.
(So I can't get the CD yet)

Also on the subject of CDs I'm still waiting for my Animal Crossing CD...

Bah, Nintendo you are sooooo slooooooww......

Only for us European folks. :(

EDIT: Also, on the subject of Nintendo, whoever is responsible for localisation in Europe also sucks! >: (
I mean look at what we get for 3ds virtual console.

Sure we get Zelda and Mario, but the Japanese get kirby and freakin' Megaman!
What do we get. Alleyway, and some crappy tennis game.

Oh we get Donkey Kong today? Well its a start at least...
(But its still in black and white. Come on! That game had Super Gameboy Support. Let us use that custom pallet!)

    Also where are the trailers?

I supposed it should be expected from them, after all it took them 2 YEARS!!! to release Metroid Prime Pinball on the DS.

I know. There is no excuse for giving the Japanese both Kirby and Mega Man, while we get a black and white Donkey Kong.

Also, turns out certain target stores in the US sold it early. Shame none of them were where I live.
Same with that gamestop preview event, the closest one was one state away:(

Applying for a job in Santander, get to the question which asks "Do you live in Northern Ireland?" select yes, see piles of questions come from out of nowhere asking my Religion and how I identify myself. Annoying.

Very tempted to fill it in as saying i'm bisexual, just to see what happens. They always say they're equal opportunity employers and all this, so why do they need to know my religion, sexuality and allegiance?

    Rant ends.

In North America it is actually illegal for employers to ask those.

Well? Share your wisdom with the rest of us. That automatic update is the bane of my existence, especially since it always updates things I don't want updated and occasionally makes my computer crash.

I've just been far too lazy to do anything about it.

Okay, so I've been playing around with the Fairy Ocarina you get at the beginning of zelda and its suprisingly advanced peice of kit.

So on the 3DS you use the A,X,Y,L, and R keys to play notes, but you can change the pitch with the dpad and the analogue stick as well.

However, the two change the sound differently, and can actually be combined to form different sounds.
In addition, sliding the analogue slider around gives you a nice slide effect.

Is it more advanced than the N64 fairy Ocarina?

    Could be the same.

I was unaware that people who weren't middle-aged housewives actually lived with the update notifications and User Account Control bullshit. I thought people just bitched about them because they were Apple fanboys that had to find a new bone to pick with Windows, even if it was an issue that is easily turned off.

You fail to grasp the depths of my laziness. Why actually read through things on the Control Panel to find the right setting to use, when I can easily pester Guru for a step-by-step instruction on how to do it?
