Yeah, but you tried posting here and nobody cared here either. I'm sorry, but most Telltale fans aren't interested in trading away their Sam & Max items.

It might if it weren't for the fact that I have ramrod straight posture. Product of being a singer person. You can't sing over an orchestra if you slouch.

When I read this I had images of you singing while suspended over an orchestra...
You are indeed the owner of a seriously disturbed mind, my friend.

    ...I laughed too.

    Hehe, me too...

Well...technically I might want to unload them, but I haven't actually redeemed them yet. Mainly because I can't remember how.

Also, first I want to run around in TF2 and see how much fun it is to taunt all the other players with my rare, yet useless items, before gauging exactly how much happiness I would gain from that by getting...say a Skyrim preorder or something.

Add some heavy lifting to the running to help retain your muscle mass. Or just enjoy being a cheap date.

Year 2.5 of Uni is about to begin.

You know, its kind of strange having to do another year again.

Its good in the sense, you know whats coming, and one can go back and correct mistakes, but its kind of scary since all the people I knew are gone, and I'll have to maybe try to make a few friends again.

A part of me hates myself for having to do it all over again.
I kind of feel stupid, useless for having failed some modules.

But it wasn't a good year for me, and who knows, maybe this year will mature me a bit.
Allow me to manage things better, get my head down and work some more.

Well when I said I have to another year again, thats not exactly 100 percent true.

I didn't exactly fail everything last year, in fact I only failed 3 modules overall.
One of those modules has been split into two this year.
So I'm doing 4 year 2 modules, 2 each semester, then 2 year 3 modules of my choice. (1 each semester)

So I'm doing 3 modules per semester rather than 4, which may make things easier.
Then again I should imagine those 3rd year modules being HARD, so I don't think its going to be all that different, investment wise.

Plus, I don't think the modules from year 2 will be exactly the same either.
It looks like there was a massive reform after my year, (which has happened for me all the time through all my schools and that), and it looks like its going to be a smaller, but much smarter bunch of people on the course now.
(Since no-one in the current 2nd year failed in the first year, the best of the whole uni courses apparently)

I think I'm going to be better off in the end.
If I get a placement, and I do well on these modules, it means I got 2 year 3 modules in the bank, and possibly 2 really good Year 2 grades to fall back on if things go wrong next year. (So thats half of it done in theory).

The placements already look better than last year.

I've already begun retweaking my CV and hopefully, next week, or the week after I'm going to start applying to jobs.
I'm also keeping myself alert to any extra curricular opportunities going on (like workshops and that), so I can have stuff to add to the CV.

No time to wallow or moan.
Its time to get myself back on track and keep me there.

(Plus its also really great that my best friend quit uni, (strange to say that, but he's much happier now in his new job, and he has more free time), as I get to see him more often which should keep my morale up)

Next week is going to be my unofficial study week.
Not much going on, lecture wise, and no tutorials either, so I'm going to take the time to read up and start any work I can for the courseworks.
(I think there were a few mentioned in the module guide, so I'm going to start planning and researching for them. Not going to make the mistake I made last time)

I just hope I get my Student Finance soon, so I can buy some core books.
Fortunately I have my work money today so I have a small budget to fall back on.

That's the ticket! Forget about last year, it's over and done with. Focus on the future and what you'll do differently to make sure you ace it this time around. :)

Best of luck Retro, you know there'll be people here cheering you on. Go rip that course to bits.

Teehee, just read my module guides and the Managing People Coursework is in the same format as it was last year. (In fact its even better, since it has a more interesting choice of questions for the indivdual part, rather than a boring rework we had to do last time (basically it was choose a topic from the group work, then do 2000 MORE words on it. Yawn! -_-)). Plus the course has a CORE book now, which is vital really.

The coursework for the Employability has been made easier too.
Since the course was split, now the hard part of the coursework has been made into group work, and the reflective part stays the same.

3rd Year Module still seems tough though.
(Traditional Coursework, then essay exam format. BUT its open book which I already plan to prepare for. (Look at previous exams, make a couple of pages of notes for each question type, condense, then add to the folder. Possibly try to categorise notes/research to make quick access. Must download papers next week ready for processing))

Definately will have to go to uni for a day or two next week, and buy/borrow some books.

(Already have the reading lists ready to print! :D)

EDIT: I tell ya, a good holiday is the best theropy any man could ever have!

That's pretty awesome. You must be very physically healthy.

Well I'm building up to a Marathon. Right now I'm at the point I can run 17 miles. Trying to break the 20 mile barrier this month at a race on the 22nd.

I'm pretty healthy I suppose. I played basketball through college. I've been in volleyball circuits during the summer and I swim four time a week during the Summer (I take a break from running). Then of course you have to commit time during your week for lifting weights.

Yeah, I can tell my mind is in the mood for Halloween if I'm listening to the soundtrack of a Disney stage show where Donald causes everyone to become possessed by ghosts from various exotic cultures. Silly duck mocking the occult like that...

Awesome! Oh, you want a solution? Say, "Hey, I tried to look you up on Facebook, but I think I must have spelled your name wrong. How do you spell it?" Female names have so many different spellings, this is almost foolproof. Just hope her name isn't Jane Ford. And she doesn't say, "Oh, I'm not on Facebook!" And she doesn't say, "I tried to friend you, but you rejected me!" (Because you didn't recognize the name.) And she doesn't say, "You stalker!! My bodybuilding boyfriend was right when he said he should beat you up!!" OK, maybe this isn't exactly foolproof after all.

Actually, my normal course of action is to admit that I forgot their name and ask again. You have no idea how much that really doesn't insult people at all.

Edit: In fact, I'm pretty sure her name starts with a K. It might be Kelly.

I don't know why, but I have this strong urge to take this person who I've been debating with on the topic of monopolies and pull a Clockworks Orange on their asses.

They seriously believe that Apple has a monopoly over Smart Phones because of the iPhone..

    ...AND...

...that Disney has a monopoly on animation in general...

    ...AND...

...that Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft collectively have a monopoly (HA!!) on console gaming....

Is my forehead red? I think it's red.

From what I understand; it was a clip from A New Hope (the meeting between Luke and Ob-Wan). To be fair, it is Fox's propriety in the legal sense but it's quite petty for them to act upon their rights in regards to one small clip. Ho hum.
