I was rather impossible to bully because I really didn't notice people making snide comments. Then again, I also had precisely one friend and was extremely bored in school. After first grade, I started reading a book under the desk every day instead of paying attention to the teachers. Frankly, I think I learned more from the books.
As a kid I was always bullied.
I'm such a big softy.
Easy to upset, and a kind heart made me an easy target.
I did bully once, but it was literally for a day, and I felt really bad about it, and apologised to the kid.
Groups of people bullied me consistently, though I've had a fair share of individual tormentors.
Only one of them ever physically abused me, which is unsuprising since I was and will likely always be massive.
I could easily take down 2-3 people if I ever wanted to, but I never really wanted to cause trouble, and I always had to be convinced by others to take actions.
I'm glad they did though, since it did help me, but the scars are still there.
My confidence is very slow in its recovery, but I have made good progress throughout uni.
Still struggle to talk to people outside of "safe" areas or situations.
(But when in a "safe" area I become my real, balanced self rather than my shielded introversy)
That pretty depressing, Dashing. are you sure you didn't have any friends at all?
Then again, I did know one person who had no friends, but funnily enough it was mostly his own fault.
You see, he was pretty short, so an easy target for bullying, but that wasn't why he didn't have any friends.
No, many people genuinely tried to be his friend, but he just drove everyone away.
Me and my best friend used to hang out with him for a while, as we shared similar interests, and we could sympathise.
And we openly talked with him about everything, and it was fine for a while, but eventually we just got sick of his rudeness.
He was a very headstrong, and opinionated person.
Agressively closedminded.
He had a tendancy to reject any argument that didn't match his own, which is pretty tolerable, but he was such a dick about it.
He would say pretty nasty, detremental things to people that he didn't agree with.
One time, he actually said something to me, that made me visibly upset, to the point that people actually commented at how harsh it was, and he didn't even care.
No guilt at all.
It was obvious how grating he was to everyone but him.
(Or maybe he did know, but just didn't really care)
Sure he was bullied, but I was bullied too, possibly even more, but you don't see me being rude and cold-minded.
It was a shame too, since he was a very intelligent kid, and I remember me, him and my best friend having a great time on our induction day.
Though, sometimes I wonder if it was simply jealously that made him so horrible to me.
Maybe he didn't think I deserved to have the friends I had.
Maybe he couldn't understand how someone not as smart as him, could have such close friends, despite being in such a similar situation.
But then again, he wasn't just nasty to me. I got the brunt of it, but he did verbally lash out at my friends too.
He's probably matured since then, and has more friends and is happy now.
(At least I'd like that to be the case, everyone deserves to have good friends (well unless they are just plain evil, like murderers, rapists ect.))
While, I whole heartedly promote martial arts education for everyone, doing it because you're angry is a bad idea. See, when you get angry, you tense up and that is an excellent way to hurt yourself. Also, any sparring partners you have will profoundly dislike you after a single bout.
Personally, I would suggest getting a drum set. Then you can annoy your neighbors AND relieve stress.
Right now, my rage level is approaching HULK status. I need to do something that involves destruction before I go and murder the first person that pisses me off.

Destroy the thing in your immediate vicinity that is most precious to you.
Alternatively you can try meditation excercises. That is much less violent and less prone to regrets.
And the flavor is... Xubuntu! I figure at least one of these current-ish flavors will fail to annoy me. If this doesn't work maybe I'll try regular Ubuntu again.

Um... yeah. What Dashing said. Martial arts is very much about control and technique, not violence. Well, the violence comes when you're at a much higher rank and can be relatively sure that you will only purposefully hurt somebody, not accidentally really hurt somebody. Nobody wants to spar with the guy who keeps on kicking them full strength.
Go for boxing or wrestling. Or water polo, that's supposed to be brutal.
I think the only way to mix martial arts and anger is Tae Kwon Leap.
Really, the best way out of anger is to realize how silly the thing you're getting angry about is in the overall scope of things, relax a while, and take steps to fix it all so it'll be better in the future. Anger can be an excellent motivator if you channel it right.
Having read the latest news from the nationwide protests, I must wonder when the protesters will start shooting back. I'm deathly afraid that one side will open fire: either the police will slip up or the protesters will get tired of the police's fascist and abusive measures of breaking up their peaceful protests. One can only take so much tyranny. Multiply that by thousands and disaster is inevitable.

I suddenly understand what it feels like to live on top of an active volcano.
Don't worry, only a fool would give cheese to a lactose intolerant volcano god and I'm no fool.
I'll give it some ice cream instead.
Actually, random fun fact: Lactose intolerant people can eat cheese since the bacteria that make the cheese digest all the lactose into sugar components. Puts a whole new perspective on Curse, let me tell you.
I always thought it was a mix of the sugar and the caffeine (especially since I never have caffeine), but after two days of drinking non/low-sugar energy drinks, its the sugar.
Definately the sugar that does it for me.
I'm sticking to low-sugar energy drinks from now on, as the last time I was hyper, I was so bad, that I thought my heart was going to explode, (and knowing my lack of fitness and good dietry practice, it may have done! XD).

It will take a death.
We had a near-death case when that one protester got shot in the face by a tear gas canister, and then the flash grenade that was thrown into the crowd who was trying to help him.
When the first death happens, that person will be elevated to martyr. And then the crap will hit the fan.

Me too... school pretty much sucked. What got me is I didn't just have one bully, but a few. Sometimes I feel like they had a roster and took turns.

Well I normally do have good spelling and grammar.
But hey, we are casually posting on a forum here.
Its not like its an essay or something.
;p
Yh it felt like me vs the world in school and the world was winning! Although I got out alive and relatively sane. So I won. ^^
Lucky.

Call Commissioner Gordon and ask for Sarah then hang up. Repeat.
Next Flavor!

You and I both.
Why is it that, when you say this, it makes me think of someone having uncontrollably "explosive" bowel movements?

I think we can't possibly know that without going back and trying to talk to one.
...TO THE TIME MACHINE!
That was my last-night. I don't really remember it, but apparently I made my way to these forums.
