I feel awful today, head feels like it's stuffed with cotton wool, my body is aching all over and I can decide if I'm too hot or too cold. Bah.

Did Fall/Autumn even occur?! It's freezing outside!

I find it incredibly amusing that, when a storm hits, the thing my grandfather runs out to buy is Viagra.

Hey, you have to take care of priorities.

    I hate you.

I will hunt you down and kill you.

Then, I'll wear your skin as a suit, and go in your place.

I looked at tickets this week... if I was to go with a few friends, the soonest date available is June, 3 rows from the back of the theatre. :P

Not that I'd suggest this, buuuut...

Being legally blind, I get seats moved up. Broadway's really good about providing extra tickets in the front for the handicapped. If someone in your party is visually impaired, you can call the box office directly and explain your situation. When the Lion King came on Broadway years ago, we got front row seats for my birthday, only two weeks before the show date. They originally said seats in that spot would take a year to open up. Same thing happened when I went to see Wicked.

Well, that's good to know. Now all you need is better taste in which musicals you see. =P

Who cares what musical it is they all end the same way.

The only big musical that I've ever seen was Spamalot.

But if you count operas as musicals, then also Don Giovanni.

Times like this, I wish I was a (more) horribly immoral dick of a person! Or friends with more visually impaired people.

...Okay, fine, you get a pass.

I would like to add that the Lion King and Wicked tickets were due to the fact that my best friend and I share a birthday. She picked those. I picked the latter three.

    Okay fine, you get a thumbs-up. :P

...Even if for some reason you enjoyed Wicked.

You have less than 22 hours to find me, kill me, skin me, cover up your tracks and get to New York. Good luck.

Don't issue a challenge like that without expecting to potentially lose.

Silence! The Musical would probably be a more appropriate show for that.

I'm sure these days the modern busy musical-going identity thief outsources the dirty work to professionals.

If we're talking movies of musicals...then I think my favorite would be a three way tie between A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Pirates of Penzance, and Sweeney Todd.

    Really?

No representation for Little Shop of Horrors?

    I'm disappointed in you.

I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't put it in my top three. If I listed all the musicals I've watched and enjoyed, we'd be here all day. My black comedy of choice will remain Sweeney Todd because I love Sondheim. I mean, I own three different versions of the soundtrack for one thing.

It's quite clearly all about Reefer Madness!

(Well its not my favourite, favourite, thats Rocky Horror and Spamalot, but I loved this musical. I'd definately put it in my top 5)

    You're correct!

    ...

Not really, you are still wrong.

In fact you couldn't be more wrong.

What it is now, is irrelevant, (it was Green Hill Zone btw), as I now have found out something much more important!

    Brentalfloss is coming to London!

If I can get enough of my old pals together, (at least one other) then I will try to go.

(I freakin' love Brentalfloss, btw. I listen to his album all the time)

Funny story I googled Puss eyes and went on images and it showed "pus" eyes which I didn't think would be as motivating.

    Avenue Q was fantastic!

Pirates of Penzance is my all time absolute favourite musical. The aussie version with Jon English. Hilarious! I can actually recite most of it from memory...

I actually heard Darth Vader's theme when I hummed it... something is going wrong in my brain!
