Or at least I was told this was powerful, the guy said he used this laptop to run Crysis on a fairly high level, so Its time to find out.
I know the sound quality is certainly better, that's a start.

Making a Tenth Doctor pony. With a tie, trenchcoat, and even collars on the suit and button down shirt. Not sure if adorable, insane, or both.

Actually I have. But mine is a bit more complex than a standard pony stuffed animal.

I wouldn't mind seeing some work-in-progress pics if you have the time and inclination to take some along the way!

That is awesome! Did you figure the basic pattern out yourself, or use something ready-made?

Is it possible this guy will be even cuter than the real-life Tennant?!

    ... Nah. ;)

I modified a pony pattern that was modified off another pattern from a Japanese stuffed animal book.

    Also: legs taking shape!

I was wondering that too. He was pretty annoying. He would have been banned like a thousand years ago in any other forum I've ever frequented.

BUT NOW WHERE WILL WE GET ALL THE LATEST SONIC THE HEDGEHOG NEWS?!

Yeah, after several chances it was decided that Pepsiboy needed some time to mature.

True. His most recent "image posts" seemed to me like he was treating this place like 4Chan.

And, the answer will probably be no, but does this mean we can make fun of him on here again?

You're a perceptive young man - the answer IS no. :)

Has anyone else gotten their hands on Star Wars The Old Republic yet? Playing the beta this weekend and I have to say I'm pretty underwhelmed with it. It seems like it's just World of Warcraft with dialogue.
  • edited November 2011
I read on Penny Arcade that you can also join members of your party via hologram. No idea if that's still there, but it almost seems worth the price of admission.

Also, it's World of Warcraft with dialogue and LIGHTSABERS.

The dialogue certainly makes questing more interesting, and chuckin' rocks at people with the Force is way more fun to watch then casting moonfire on them but besides that it's pretty much the same game.

Well, I suppose when you compare it to one of the most successful MMORPGs, it can't be all that bad. But it does mean that it will be evil and suck all your time away. That's one of the reasons I've never touched WOW. Though...it's possible that I'll give this one ago because...well... Star Wars.

Actually, now that I think of it, I probably WILL think of a mouse named Steven the next time I pick up a postage stamp.

So pros and cons of new laptop.

    Pros:
    Faster
    Clearer(in both sound and visuals)
It IS a gaming laptop. I can play games such as TF2, L4D2, and even(if can you run it is correct) Crysis on max settings!

    Cons:
None of the f# buttons work. They were redone for other things. f9 and 10 is volume, f2 and 3 is brightness, and they literatly have f5 doing nothing at all!

So its a great laptop, and if I could just rework the buttons, it would be the perfect laptop for my needs.
