but it drives me nuts when it takes things away (number one being the lack of Shane's death).
I don't actually watch the show, I get told about it by a friend but the way it sounds
They're probably going to kill off Shane sometime soon. You know, when he says stuff about the show being awesome, I just tell him "Wait 'till you get to the prison"
but it drives me nuts when it takes things away (number one being the lack of Shane's death).
I actually really don't mind that change at all. It feels like a very interesting "What if" scenario. Rather than taking something away, by erasing a character's potential future(
as with Sophia
, they instead gave a character a chance to exist and interact beyond what was initially done. I personally like that, because I actually got a chance to get around to LIKING this character, something I never did in the original.

I'm with you on this one. I really love the comics, but at the same time I've... you know... already read them. As long as the characters stay true to the original versions (looking at you here, Andrea), I'm happy to have things progress in a different way. I was actually really excited about it when Shane survived the first season. I was enjoying the show, but I'd much rather watch every week not thinking that certain people are "safe." The Otis thing blew me away that much more because I had thought I already knew what was going to eventually happen to him.

I can understand that, except it's working in the opposite direction for me. The way he's been going, I hate him more than I ever did in the comics.
As for already having read the comics, that's one thing that I really like about the show. It mainly stays true to the comics, and you know the general direction the story's moving in, but they're changing it up just enough to keep us on our toes.
That said, if the show continues on the way it is, the prison arc is going to last a good 30 episodes. I have no idea how that would work out.
That works. That truly does. But then I have no TARDIS or Pandorica. I vote that Dashing is Davros for some reason. Fawful would make the best the Master, though. This is undeniable.
How do you sell someone a new gaming PC that only has HD monitor ports on the back with an HD monitor and then only include an old standard monitor cable? Argh.

No, you have to be Davros, Pants. That's just how it is. Fawful is the Master, and I...I will be the Rani. Because that's really the only role that suits me.
Guys in the Poirot short story The Kidnapped Prime Minister which is set in 1919 and invovles Poirot having to rescue the Prime Minister before the Versailles negotiations start because if he is not present then the treaty might be "too lenient" on the Germans. since now it's generally accepted that the Versailles treaty played a major role in the rise of Adolf Hitler makes this Poirot one of the biggest nice job breaking it hero moments ever.
On another note, I am designing a cake for PAX/Sam and Max's 25th birthday for next year. It involves the DeSoto crashing into a birthday cake, the car itself made from either rice Krispies or brownie coated in fondant.
I was concerned about it when I posted it there, but I can now confirm that it will be delicious. Not being a fan of coffee, I've never tried tiramisu, so I can't confirm that it tastes like it, but my family tells me it does. I might have to give tiramisu a chance now.

I'd suggest using the Rice Krispies because they're much easier to mold into shapes and any texture issues can be covered up with lots of frosting.
I know for sure now that I will not keep my education job placement when I have finished my education, they are already having conversations with new people.
But they can't kick me out before April anyway, but I have had a good time here and I have learned a lot, so now I am ready to get a real job once I am done.

I meant to say molding chocolate, but I'll be honest- I find it easier to sculpt than Krispie treats, but abhor the taste. I know I'll also have a little Sam and Max in there too- Sam inspecting the damage and Max hanging from a tier biting the cake.

The ending of The Pandorica Opens just played in my head as I read that.
Well, Fawful would probably be the Cybermen. That's for damn sure.
Bah, If you're The Doctor, Fawful has to be either The Master or Davros.
No, Comrade Pants would have to be Davros.
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
I see what you did there.
I'm pretty sure these two posts completely summarize this thread and there is therein no point in it's continuuing on.

I guess I'm River Song then.
OR....I can be sexy.
Oh honey, you're always sexy.
Thread DERAILED.
Saw in Cooking thread. Will have to make myself.

That...is amazing...

Might as well do it, it's the only way to get it out of your system.
Fight it, man! Don't let yourself do it!
If I'm the Doctor, it just makes sense. Then again, the Doctor is too anti-gun... and not evil. Crap, Davros it is.

I had this the other day, but Netflix would not oblige me.
-but instead I made this face-
I think I started to get sad around the point they met Toad.
But I don't really hate the movie. It's stupid, but I enjoy Hoskins and Leguizamo in it.
