Well, turns out I somehow got mixed up about Best Buy's opening time. They opened at midnight, which I realized...at midnight. When I got there at 12:10, the line was still wrapped around behind the building, even after they let people in. So I gave up on it, went to Gamestop, waited in line for an hour, and got what I wanted there.
Also got pwned by a Beijing native at Apples to Apples. I totally though speaking English would put me at an advantage. NOPE.
Apples to apples is serious buisness.
And leads to people questioning if I'm a terrorist or not.
Also, my family is known for a really crappy card, and then explaining it to the point where it wins.

So, according to youtube several months ago, I'm allowed to upload videos longer then 15 minutes. Part 2 of my Full Throttle playthrough was removed for being too long at 16 minutes long. What?
Sam tells me that Scrabble in Israel is played almost exclusively in English (by adults at any rate); the lack of redundancy in the orthography of the language and lack of vowels when written (similar to Arabic) means that almost any string of tiles can be a word; consequently the game is much less challenging and therefore the province primarily of children and learners of Hebrew as a foreign language. If there is a preferred dictionary for play in Hebrew, it is probably the one edited by Even Shoshan, but due to the lack of organised Hebrew play, that has no official standing.
It seems that, especially for mid to high-level play, English dominates, and the game less "transcends" English than it does awkwardly squeeze out of English from time to time for the purposes of educating small children and foreigners.

Does YouTube have a Contact Us link you can contest this?
Guys, I need to purge 99% of the stuff I have, but I'm having an issue with what to do with my broken consoles. Does anyone know where I can dump those before I just take a screw driver to them and lump the circuits in with the computer parts that need to be properly recycled?
SNES (wire shredding, GPU shot all to hell, controller lag), of which I don't think I still have any games for it. I'd have to check when I start the purge of my stuff.
SegaCDX (wire shredding, bad/dead memory in the system, controller lag, CDA functions shot all to hell, Genesis slot no long works), of which I'm only keeping a few of the titles for a "Framed Game" project that I'm trying to do with games I can no longer play. The project was suggested by you guys in the TTG community, and I have quite a few titles lined up for it.
I'm not sure about my PS1. I have a large library of games for that, but I'll need to check to see what works and what doesn't. I'm leaning on the notion that it's broken due to age more so than use and environment.
EDIT: BTW, there's no local collector's store or retro-gaming store that I can go to that will repair these or take them in for their parts from what I can find. Then again, Google has been known to fail me.
Okay. PS1 isn't broken. It's just loud as hell when it's scanning discs for data.
EDIT: Well, this evening is getting more and more interesting.
Apparently, the new computer my parents secured during Black Friday isn't compatible with the USB Wireless Adapter we've been using. Win7 can't find the drivers that are on the device. Yet when I look up what is compatible, the model shows up as being compatible with Win7.
I think I'm just going to tell them they need a new wireless adapter and save myself the headache. After all, my mom doesn't know what an Ethernet cable is even though I've seen her hook her laptop up to one at her office.
Well had to drop $95 on new clothes to wear at work. At least I'm a man...clothes are cheaper. ...now if only I were a child...
Yes I understand priorities and the irony of complaining about this, yet buying and glorifying new games that come out... doesn't mean I have to like it.
Start rebuilding a sense of self NOT defined entirely by being told how much of a failure I am tomorrow.
Spend day asleep.
I regret nothing.
Spend entire night in tears because my uncle is going to die tonight on his way home after three months in the hospital because his body can't handle the trip but he doesn't care anymore. Oh, I'm sorry. Was I supposed to say something funny? Well, eat a dick. My uncle is dying in complete misery, and I don't give a flying shit about your prissy, fairy, precious little need to feel good.

I'm sad.
I thought being too far away from the rest of my family on Thanksgiving sucked, but holy shize.
Dashing, I know it coming from some random voice on the internet doesn't mean much, but... I know you're a capable and intelligent guy. You're compassionate and helpful to boot. Negativity like that sucks hard, and you can always count on me if you need some commiserating. Also, keep an eye on Steam. ^___^ I won't send it to you until after you've finished finals though. Nobody needs that distraction this close to the end of the semester.
Fawful, while I'm obviously not you, I definitely know how you feel. Thanksgiving is a really hard time for my family, as Thanksgiving night is the day my grandfather died, on the car ride home, five years ago.
He had a heart attack, and his very last act was to swerve the car off into the service lane and hit the brake, to save my grandmother's life. They were driving back from my house, and my grandmother cannot drive. He was dead in the driver's seat long before the paramedics arrived.
The next few days, weeks, even, are going to be hard. Let me know if you need anything.

I can't say I know exactly how you feel...but I do know what it's like to lose a family member because they don't care anymore. Right before I went to college, my grandmother refused to go on the breathing machine that would have kept her alive after her emphysema worsened. I was fairly close to her and it was horribly painful at first, but I've gotten to the point now where I dwell instead on the good memories from when she lived rather than the moment when she died. Still hurts though, sometimes.
If you want to talk, and I can totally understand if you wouldn't want to (I certainly didn't), you know where to find me. I just realized how horribly cheesy that sounded. Whatever. I'm keeping it there anyway.
That's awful and horrible. For some reason, when you mentioned an uncle, I didn't even consider children because only one of my uncles has children and none of them are under 25. I can honestly say that I don't really know what to say except that my prayers will be with them, you, and your family.
Well, If that's what you meant by Cancer, I'm a Capricorn.
It has nothing on Umineko no Naku Koro ni. NOTHING.
USO DA!
Actually, I believe you. That was just a perfect chance to do that.

My natural reaction to things is try to be funny, even when something sad happens. I want to cheer people up. I'm afraid dying uncles is not one of those times I can. Sorry man.
Ah. So nice to see my Caanoo at maximum memory capacity. (32gb SD)
Combined with all the 16gb SD cards, (and the 16gb Micro SD in a SD adaptor I was using as the main card before), I have an insane amount of memory for the device now.
(16+16+16+32= 78gb to play with)
At least I won't get so annoyed at what was a limited collection of music on there.
(Well, repetition will be less likely...)

I just did.
I don't know, but it's really just me playing a game, and I can just rerecord with me ending a bit earlier. So, no big loss.
But I like watching playthroughs for games that I don't have the time or money to invest in. It's fantastic!

Gee DAISHI what are we going to do tomorrow tonight?
Rebuild the world.
Obviously.

Just Higurash no Naku Koro ni. God damn that show is freaky.

And what treasures I found? The original 1983 cut of Return of the Jedi on VHS. It's a shame I don't have a working VCR.
Depends on what things they are. I typically cover my neck when I sleep though out of paranoia.
