Yet again, I've proven myself incapable of getting a cheesecake in the oven before midnight.

Does this mean there is a cheesecake in the oven now?

Also, on a completely unrelated note, what's your address and are there any cheap flights to Colorado from Oakland that I could switch to?

Why do grad school applications take forever to fill out? Seriously, I just spent nearly an hour signing up one of my recommenders for the schools I'm applying to!

Though, admittedly, that was primarily because one of the schools wanted a physical address and that information didn't seem to exist on the internet, no matter how hard I searched. Had to make one up in the end.

    *whistles innocently*

Share your pain with me. I understand.

How to sum up the day?

Girl of my dreams is coming back in December, and then permanently in Summer. Our lack of contact wasn't my fault and she wants to see me when she moves back in town.

In other news, got the digits from this girl I've been talking to for a while. And a date on Friday. WHATTUP.

Seven applications to fill out. One day to fill them out in. Well, not really, but if I want to have any sort of Thanksgiving break, I should probably try to finish all this stuff by tomorrow since most of them are due on Dec 1.

    IT DOES.

    It's pumpkin, too.

Maybe, but there wouldn't be any cheesecake when you got here. I'm taking it to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving. There'll be plenty of cheesecake here next week, when I make a tiramisu cheesecake for my sister's birthday. However, I can't guarantee the quality of that one, as I have no idea what the hell I'm doing.

Aww. And next week I've got to start studying for final exams. What about Christmas? Will there be cheesecake for me to steal then?

I also suddenly and inexplicably wish I had devoted some portion of my time developing a teleportation machine all these years. It would really come in handy now for cake stealing.

If it's any consolation, I've been there. I know. The applications to Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, etc., and all their individual quirks about what sort of app to fill and what requirements to meet can be a pain.

Yup. At least I'm a fairly fast typist. I've never been so happy that I managed to get such a skill refined by being on these forums.

Things Telltale has unintentionally given me: Really wickedly fast touch-typing skills.

Yep. There's probably going to be another pumpkin cheesecake for Christmas at my grandma's house, and leftovers here after, and then a blueberry layered cheesecake here for New Year's Eve.

And since I had the Photobucket app open...

I'm the second from the top. I think that's my third turkey ever.

Now I want to read the picture book: "A Turkey for Thanksgiving"

I also want to eat cheescake, but I guess I'll have to wait until I can teleport. Wasn't DnD supposed to give us mad superpowers or something by now according to that chick tract? I am very disappoint.

I am seriously considering getting a Lifetime Subscription to Champions Online, but I just don't know if it's a good idea.

And on another note. Monday afternoon I forgot to take my key with me when went home from work. I was running late to catch my bus so I didn't feel like running back after it.
I called work and had them let me in the next day, and I searched my table for my key, but it was no where to be found. So I thought I had locked it in the storage room, but as I went to go to the bathroom I saw it hanging there on a hook.
So it had been there all night and no one had gone to the bathroom after me.
I was considering my self very lucky. :P

Though I know that evenin's empire has turned into sand
    Vanished from my hand
Left me blindly here to stand, But still not sleeping
My weariness amazes me, I'm branded on my feet
I have no one to meet
And the ancient empty street's too dead for dreamin'

Take me for a trip upon your magic swirlin' ship
All my senses have been stripped, And my hands can't feel to grip
And my toes too numb to step, Wait only for my boot heels
    To be wanderin'

I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fade
Into my own parade, Cast your dancing spell my way
I promise to go under it

    Though you might hear laughin',
Spinning, Swinging madly across the sun
It's not aimed at anyone, It's just escapin' on the run
And but for the sky there are no fences facing
And if you hear vague traces of skippin' reels of rhyme
To your tambourine behind, It's just a ragged clown behind
I wouldn't pay it any mind, It's just a shadow
    Seein' that he's chasin'

Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time, Far past the frozen leaves
The haunted, frightened trees, Out to the windy beach
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky, With one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, Circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate, Driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow

Hey, Mister Tambourine Man, Play a song for me
I'm not sleepy, And there's no place that I'm going to
Hey, Mister Tambourine Man, Play a song for me
In the jingle jangle mornin', I'll come followin' you

So I got a papercut on my left index finger while opening a box today, and thanks to the band-aid on it, I can't feel the bump on the F key, causing typing to become a little awkward. Also, washing the cheesecake dishes sucked.

I'm sorry to hear that. Here, have a funny gif to help speed your recovery.

What's all this talk about how Skyward Sword is the last game that will be released for the Wii? The Wii U can't be coming out THAT soon, is it?

    God, I feel behind....

I just want to go home and start my Thanksgiving cooking.

I hear her voice in the mornin' hour she calls me

The radio reminds me of my home far away

And drivin' down the road I get a feelin'

Like I should've been home yesterday

    Yesterday

But I've got an emptiness deep inside

And I've tried but it won't let me go

And I'm not a man who likes to swear

But I've never cared for the sound of bein' alone

    I am, I said!

    To no one there

    Bum bum bum

And no one heard at all

    Not even the chair

    I am, I cried!

    I am, said I.

    Wee ooooh

    Bum bum bum

And I am lost, and I can't even say why ...

You know what I did. I made a thing.

    0cl0V.png

I don't like it. It's rushed and the product of a exhausted mind. And my head hurts and now I'm going to go to bed before my mother gets the pumpkin pie in the oven, which'll keep me awake for hours.

Probably the last ZELDA game...not any game. It is supposed to be coming out pretty soon.

No, a lot of reviews are opening or at least mentioning that Skyward Sword is THE LAST GAME for the Wii, but none are really citing their information about it.

I think it's more the last game for the Wii. Games about ponies and Mr. Bean will still be rife.

I really can't emphasize enough how bad the 25th anniversary album OCRemix put out for Zelda is.

Bad as in badass or bad as in terrible?

    Terrible. Atrocious composition.

I liked a few of the tracks on there. The album does make great studio music, though, for those sessions where I lock myself in my room and just draw.

Too many elements of happy hardcore ruined it for me, among other things.

That was Happy Hardcore? I thought it was dubstep.

All I know is that Josh Morse does contemporary jazz, and he never fails to impress me.

It's bloody typical that I'd be invited to participate in a beta that starts the one weekend I'm away. Ah sod it all, I'll just enjoy my time in London and hope that I can still take part when I get back.

I'm exaggerating but long story short, I do think there are good pieces but I think these albums need to start thinking about a vision of what the album will embody.
