I haven't really watched much of the Three Stooges...but I assume that this is the same as if they brought back the Marx Brothers, had them raised in a synagogue as their base characters, and derived most of the humor from Harpo squirting people with a joke boutonniere. No...wait. The fart shoes from the Muppets movie, only this time used seriously.
What an awesome thing to happen. Any chance you or your parents still have that stuff?
Artist Dave DeVries does the same thing quite often. But his (English) "monster engine" seems to be 403 for some reason. You can have a look at some of his pictures here, nonetheless.
/edit: UGH, damn, it helps to read the last four pages. This thread is moving WAY too fast.
So I was going through my dozens and dozens of drawing books from over the years and I happened upon something that made my eyes bug out of my head, and no it wasn't all the nudey girls I drew as a kid.
It was this- a drawing of Tintin I drew...WHEN I WAS FIVE. In fact, it was in my very first drawing book. I don't even remember being a fan of Tintin when I was five, but apparently I was because I only drew things I liked a lot back then. So I guess it all comes full circle.
There's a picture of an ornate cup inside of it. I keep telling him "IT'S THE GRAIL! YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN FOR THE GREAT QUEST BY THE CRUSADEY PEOPLE! I READ OF IT IN THE RATHER DASHING MANGA IN SHOUNEN JUMP!" but he won't listen to me. IT'S THE GRAIL, I TELLS YA.
Makes sense that you'd have a German Bible, since your last name is rather German sounding. Are there wedding dates written in the cover? If so, it could be very valuable for genealogical research. I know my parents were able to discover a lot of family history by looking through old Bibles.
To all you forumites whom insist on using this latest Internet meme involving the phrase "shot by an arrow"; please take this friendly and polite piece of advice...
Go fourth to your mother's pantry and have her direct you to the meats. In the relevant section, find and suck on the rear of a roast suckling sow. Please do then proceed to have your wicked way with the festering old hog, followed by the sow. Then devour the remaing scraps of meat that now reside in your own succulent, filthy juices.
For you see, I know not of that which you refer to as the "arrow" meme. Nor do I care to educate myself on such matters. 'Tis not humouress but nowt but an annoyance. As an attempt to share my feelings of utter contempt for you handful rabble of shameful in-jokers, I communicate to you with these words and these words only...
Nig noog a shoob, you bunch of mally koobers... yeah, you heard me!
I remember a time when Davies was hip, but then he took an arrow in the knee.
Miyamoto plans to remain with the company, but will no longer act as the Senior Managing Director and General Manager of Nintendo's Entertainment Analysis and Development Division, the large group responsible for much of the company's internal game development.
You shouldn't be. Miyamoto's plans for the future could very well be far more exciting than anything he's been able to work on for the past few years. Smaller projects, possibly with smaller teams, for titles that don't require a 5-year development cycle. What he'll be working on may very well go back to the core of why he's celebrated in the first place, and he may be more free to experiment with his new projects than he could have with a larger, higher-budget, larger workforce title.

Or he'll make more titles like Nintendogs and Wii Sports.
*sigh* we used to have a radio station like that. One that only played 10yrs or older tunes... then I got older... and now they play soundgarden and stuff mixed in. Though I'm a Tom Petty man myself, I do enjoy me some Seger.
I'M STILL LIVING HIGH OF OFF ATTENDING MY FIRST PRESS SCREENING OF A MOVIE!!
GAH!! I want to talk so much about Tintin, but I can't because of a studio mandate until Dec. 20 since I'm a member of the "blogosphere." The legit press can talk it about it whenever they want, it seems, but proper protocol is to wait until the week of release.
Wait... does this mean I'm part of the press now? Or was I invited to generate buzz on the internet?

I had forgotten about this abomination until last night, and my worst fears are confirmed.
Great to know that five year old you could draw better than I can.
This was me at five...
5PM! SAY SOMETHIN'!
You live in a haystack? Suddenly, a lot of things start to make sense...
I like how he sort of look like he's looking in two different directions... XD
Yeah. Got a problem with that?
It's not a Bible. Well, it's like a Bible but different. Way different.

No, but if you find a needle in there, it's mine.

And no, by that I do not mean Pikmin 3.
