Perhaps his feet got stuck in a trap and he used his sword to free himself ...

Or maybe Link is hanging up his adventuring sword and shield and becoming a guard. Everybody seems to be getting bummed in the gob lately. It's the kewl thing 2 do.

Works for me...Though he isn't very menacing anymore... a slight shove, a stiff breeze, his own backswing...and he's going down. Almost as useless as cartoon Link.

Shout! Factory spoiled me with their Definitive Edition of the series.

I got that for my birthday, but I still haven't watched it yet, I should get around to that sometime. I'd heard that has similar sound problems to the Anchor Bay S4 DVD in that the voices are slightly deeper due to the PAL-NTSC transfer, have you noticed that at all?

It's actually the reverse. The PAL versions of Season 4 were sped up from the original soundtrack when the two movies were released initially. The DVDs produced by Shout! Factory have them running at the proper speed so that everyone sounds correct and consistent in all their copies.

The only error they had was that the pre-orders of the package had a damaged Disc 1 for Season 1's commentary and menu.

Really? I could have sworn that the voices sounded slightly too deep on my copy of the Anchor Bay DVD, they're definitely slightly deeper when compared to my S3 DVDs. But as long as the Shout! Factory ones are fine, that's all good!

Etiquette demands that you use the "bummed in the gob" variety. I think... but, hey!

This makes two products by Shout Factory that blow me away, the other being the Home Movies DVD set.

No, I changed the arrow quote to the gob one you suggested. Don't ask me why it went all lower-casey!

I've been so anarchistic today. Can directly calling for rebellion get you in trouble under the NDAA?

    Hmm..

Currently spending an hour or two bouncing around an idea.

I think I could create a crude prototype in a day or two.

I have a microphone, decent experience with Game Maker, and an idea of HOW to implement this.

I just need to get something down and functional. Once thats done the rest should be just a matter of time Rather than effort.

EDIT: Sometimes I think my ideas are completely mad, even for the most like-minded people.

They say there is a thin line between a genius and a madman, but I didn't see any line when I crossed the border to crazytown! XD

Oh well, one of these days one of my wacky ideas will either be done by more able madman, or a future, less inept version of myself.

Just got to keep on rolling till then!

The storyline in WWE with Kane trying to turn Cena evil is sort of like a comic book. Since Cena is (annoyingly) portrayed as a superman of wrestling and Kane looks like a masked villain and is making speeches about embracing hate like a villain makes it seem like a movie or comic story.

I have returned from the strange land of no internet! Looks like this thread actually produced some smart, interesting discussion while everyone was obviously holding back tears at my absence. Thanks guys, that was nice to come back to!

Anyway, I thought up some nice idea for a contest to determine who should receive the Blackwell Deception from me.

Basically photoshop an in-canon dead character (fictional or otherwise) in a photo or setting of some sort, making the ghost in question look like a ghost that could as well appear in the Blackwell series.

You can watch the various LPs of the series to see examples of how ghosts generally look.

The entire thing is based on originality, though, and I need to see the shoops before the 15th. When I'm doubting I might even consult somebody else.

I had to, like, spend time outdoors and stuff! It was wonderful and I'd trade in internet access for a job in Australia that pays this much any day.

You're very welcome! I didn't tape up the envelope like that, must have been someone nice within the postal service (I guess my vague concerns about the safety of an overstuffed envelope full of chocolate were well-founded). Glad it arrived ok.

Man I am so jetlagged. Tried drinking a bottle of wine to send myself to sleep, but now it's 1am on Tuesday morning and I'm just ready to party. FML.

I was expecting this but not this quickly - I got my eviction notice today. I now have two weeks to find a new place to live. Gonna try and get this extended but it requires going through the courts which'll take a few days at least. Now I just need to find the silver lining in this very dark and ominous cloud.
