So then Mable said to me: 'Well, why did you wear those earings?' And then we went to Nine West but we couldn't find anything we wanted because I have really wide feet but sometimes I can fine stuff at Payless. Anywho Cyndi told me that Victoria's secret was just around the corner and she said they were having a sale, and she knows I'm really broke right now. So I confronted her and, well.
Well there is people that can have good grammar on a piece of paper, but when on the internet, things change
Practice makes perfect.
If you practice good grammar--even on the internet--over time, your grammar will improve. If you practice bad grammar and are never corrected, soon you will not know what is acceptable and what is not.
What happens if you get a white-collar job somewhere and are then expected to appear professional yet all your inter-office emails, memos, or letters to customers all have bad grammar and are in all caps? The fact that you never practice good grammar now means you will suck at it later when you actually need to be good at it.
Bad grammar can also be indicative of an inferior level of intelligence or education. If you want to sound competent, and are interested in people believing that you know what you're talking about, you need to learn how to say things in a way that doesn't sound like you're in 6th grade.
Suffice it to say, if you have bad grammar, don't punctuate, and don't capitalize when you should, many people---even on the internet--will think that whatever it is you have to say is as valid as if it came from a small child.
inn other wordz if i talk liek this i can have a consorvaton about anny topic at all and noon will listen too me bcuz it sounds like im a kid who has no ideas what im talkign about
Woodseyblue you make a good observation we have mapped the gameplay experience to the franchise. With more traditional adventure game licenses the design is more puzzle focused because we know the fans of those franchises will expect that. That being said its a shame that The work we did on Monkey and Sam and Max is less accessible to people who should enjoy the content. I may be biased but I feel like Sam and Max has some of the most creative storylines and characters in the entire games industry, I also think we do the best gags in the business. I think the relationship between Guybrush, Elaine, Le Chuck and Morgan is some of the best character development and are great representations of female characters but it isnt experienced by most people because if they aren't experienced adventure gamers they can't get into it.
So that is the challenge and we are going to try all kinds of things to get to the right place but well integrated puzzles are a huge piece of the mechanic for us. JP still has puzzles in it. If you guys can think of well integrated puzzles that you liked we would love to hear it. I personally love the Dating Game Puzzle From TOMI EP 3 what puzzles did you guys like and why
I get that people who love Sam and Max and Monkey might not like what we did with BTTF or JP but we need the space to expirement and evolve. I don't think most of you want us to build games based on the same formula over and over again. Woodsey this isn't directed at you but I do need to say if people don't like BTTF or JP thats okay, feel free to let us know we value what you have to say. But Please Please Please don't attack people who are coming to the forum to talk about how they enjoyed it, that really hurts us and is just mean spirited.
Sorry Dan, but there are numerous grammatical errors in this.
Bloodkiller, Dan Connors is one of the founders of Telltale Games. Do you think that having grammatical errors makes Dan look more or less professional to other people in the gaming industry? Do you think he cares? If he doesn't, he certainly should.
Ugh. I haven't looked into Colonial Marines in a couple weeks and I guess I missed the new cinematic trailer which revealed that the release date has been pushed back yet again. The trailer is still awesome and shows more of the faithfully recreated LV-426. While the detail is of cinematic quality and not gameplay, the attention to such specifics are fantastic to see. I can wait until the 3rd quarter.
I think that person was overreacting. In hindsight, the anti-Japanese feelings during the forties was horrible and unconscionable, but at the same time, we were fighting a war on two fronts and the Japanese were pretty brutal in their attacks, nor just against us at Pearl Harbor but also against the Chinese (Rape of Nanjing anyone?). Add to that the fact that the Japanese did not abide by the Geneva convention protocols for treatments of POWs and did horrific things to anyone unfortunate enough to be captured by them.
So, while the extension of the feelings regarding Japanese atrocities to uninvolved Japanese Americans is wrong, I don't think a few political comics, whose very nature is to be overly judgmental and satirical, is an adequate reason for boycotting an author's entire library.
I mean, they didn't show the WWI cartoons like this one:
There's also the fact that as time went on, he changed his views on the whole issue. Horton Hears a Who was actually written as a personal method of moving on from it. I think we all find that we were all bigoted in one way or the other in the past but have moved on.
Coolsome thinks they should remake Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 with the same basic story. BUUUUUUT!!!!!!!! But they should update the graphics and game-play and update the story to fit with character and story arcs of MGS onwards.

I'm really looking forward to Aliens: Colonial Marines, even if I'm not terribly convinced by the survival of Hadley's Hope and the concept of the Crusher (radioactive Xeno). I suspect that the game was delayed in order to better coincide with the release of Prometheus.
I hear that Gearbox have been given access to the details of the Space Jockey from Prometheus and apparently the players of Aliens: Colonial Marines will be able to explore the derelict at some point in the game. I wonder what that could mean..? *cough* Jockey Xeno *cough*;)

Yeah I'm not too optimistic about the Crusher Alien, but so far it's the only thing I've seen that I'm not fond of. So far, I can live with that.
..well, besides the whole "breathing air on a radioactive planet" thing... to which, they said would be explained. That's quite a big explanation looming.

Given their "explanation" for the survival of Hadley's Hope, I'm not expecting anything particularly plausible.

Granted, they made it look more destroyed, but still... Considering the close proximity to the reactor(the heat exchangers being RIGHT inside the complex!) and the explosion seen, there's no way anything except a few traces of ground structure would be left. I still want to play it though.

Agreed. If ignoring/retconing existing continuity means I get to play a new Alien game, without those stupid Predators, then so be it. I'd be a lot more pissed if it were an actual film though!

I hope it happens.
You can worship your demons all you want. I won't judge.
So we can understand what the crap people are saying.
Because some people am not very good grammar and is it very annoying to all us.
Did you put any logic into that at all?
I disagree. I cannot grammar in places anywhere. Make me harder to talk at.
Strabble.
You will never know the meaning of Strabble. I think that kills you deep inside on some level.
Strip drunk scrabble.
You're the worst sort of person for guessing that.
Oh, it wasn't a guess.
I'm still convinced there should be some straddling in there. It just makes sense!
That's odd. Asus is generally a pretty reliable brand. Well, at least with there motherboards and power supplies. That's all I've bought from them.

That's a German soldier. He's a bit hairy.
Because making your posts readable for others is just polite in general.
And because I'm a mod and I say so.
Because washing grampa's socks really seems to tire her out lately.
Fixed. We all know what you really want.
Just bugging you.
IT WAS ME AUSTIN!!! IT WAS ME ALL ALONG AUSTIN !!!
Funny thing is: When I was a German soldier I was a lot less hairy then I am now ...
You can say that again.

Davies likes this idea.

I was driving into Wal-Mart, and someone left their shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot. It was raining and I couldn't stop.
