At a guess, maybe it was because he recently seemed to have developed a habit of creating nonsense threads. Personally I've always appreciated his brand of humour but I can also see why the Mods might take issue with that kind of thing.

Just because your thread was essentially sabotaged, that doesn't mean that we don't like new threads. As you may have noticed, your new Mature Thread hasn't been plagued by trolls, and it also hasn't been locked. These two things are related.

Don't assume that you understand everything behind that decision. First, Coolsome's erratic behavior started long before his grandmother died. And even if his behavior was because of that, while we all feel for him in his difficult time, that still doesn't give him a free pass from the rules.
Second, Coolsome's banning had little to nothing to do with the Mature Thread. The reason nobody knows why he is banned is because the offending posts were deleted. Coolsome was misbehaving in other ways and was warned multiple times to stop, and he kept going. We do not make banning decisions lightly. He's been put in time-out for two weeks, and he'll be back at the end of it, as good as ever.
And all that said, discussion of banned users is prohibited on this forum. Unfortunately, the Forum Guidelines sticky is out of date, so things like this aren't actually documented anywhere. That said, it's still a rule that had to be established after previous problems with people getting upset about bans.
And at the end of it all, you're not being persecuted here, so it's not in your best interest to be making all this fuss. Your first thread was locked because of a couple unruly people. It happens. It's happened to me, both before and after I became a mod. It's nearly happened to this thread on several occasions (and as it is, this thread wasn't always in Forum Games). There's no need to take it personally. And your second attempt at the thread is thriving. So calm down, stop talking about an uprising, and we should get along just fine.
That's why I created a new forum site for people who wanted to continue the original mature thread, a post I see that someone deleted. I was waving the white flag and conceding to peace on this forum.

I just want the mods to do their job, but they seem too reluctant to rule with an iron fist and do what must be done. So until they can do what is necessary, I'll introduce a little anarchy.
