only if you were wrapping them in bacon and dipping them in cheese, then I might wonder.

Not wrapping them in anything and I'm dipping them in ketchup. Move over, midnight, 2 AM is SNACK TIME.

    TATER TOTS.

    I'm not high I promise.

    Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure.

Now I wish I had brownies.

    Also, tater tots.

You very well know my actually quite straight edge stance on recreational psychoactive drug use.

...of course we mean alcohol right? right? Good ole alcohol. Caffeine is great too.

On the subject of war, I only like it in movies and computer games and even then only if the plot is really good and not really about the war. Or if the war is in a fantasy world or something. Otherwise...not so much.

I think the show M*A*S*H put it best in the way that there are only two rules in war:

    1) Young men (and women) die.
    2) There's nothing doctors can do to stop rule 1.

I think my fried and not MASHED taters put it best in the way that there are only two rules in late night snacking:

    1) Food will be eaten
    2) There is nothing really tiny cooking instructions on the side of a bag or weirdly difficult to open packaging can do to stop rule 1

I'm disappointed in myself. I'd made a resolution in October to cut back the drinking and had hovered around 3 or 4 a night a few times a week. Blew it last night. Spent five hours in the gym today punishing myself for it.
  • edited February 2012
I think I might actually drink to excess, occasionally.
  • edited February 2012
Well once upon a time I would have a 100 a week, so now staying around 20 a week is peachy for me.

Why do my tags keep getting deleted?
  • edited February 2012
Some of the mods like to clean out old tags every once in a while to make room for new ones. I'm afraid to ask, but what tag was it that got deleted?
  • edited February 2012
Both of mine have survived for quite some time now. I'm reasonably proud.
  • edited February 2012
I actually almost got rid of "Twitter on Valium" earlier, just because it made no sense to me.
  • edited February 2012
Wait, so you lot KNOW whose tags are whose? I suddenly feel violated.

Anyway, the tag probably doesn't make much sense. It originated due to my disagreement with the "Twitter on steroids" tag. I thought "there's a lot more updating/movement going on Twitter than there is here. In comparison, this is a whole lot more toned-down." So, rather than this thread being like "Twitter on steroids", I thought "Twitter on valium" - a calming, relaxing drug - was more apt.

People should go see Arriety, which is masterful, rather than some shoddy piece of pro-war propaganda.

Fox News thinks it's liberal propaganda towards creating Occupy toddlers. :D Then again, they also think the best way to protest The Lorax is to litter the theater. Either way, Miss Piggy was right; Fox isn't reporting news at all.

So nobody bothered to watch my short story video on YouTube?! Either that or no-one could be arsed to leave a comment. That's makes me a sad panda!

Clearly not, considering you don't even know how to spell "Japanese". Also, if you don't know how to spell a word or somebody's name then perhaps a quick google search is in order, hmm?

I'm not Japanese but when I want to type "Hayao Miyazaki", I don't end up typing "haio mihaaki"; a spelling that doesn't even phonetically sound correct. Not to mention that you failed to even use basic grammar.

To be honest, you're simply making yourself come across as uneducated and lazy. Google is your friend, Sir.

I worry about what the text in your adventure game will be like if you're making these kind of elementary mistakes.

I dunno. I have probably one of the stupidest tags on this thread and it's managed to survive far longer than I thought it would. I'm not going to say what it is though and bring attention to it because I'm curious to see how long it will last. Kinda a morbid type of curiosity.

It's so obvious that your tag is "Alcoremortis is also pretty".

Only kidding! If I had to bet, then I'd say that the "entire thread eats babies" tag is yours.

Neither am I. I'm an all American boy, and by all American I mean at least an 8th native, and the rest is from Europe.

Until the day before yesterday I didn't even know his name was Hayao, but I still knew how to spell Miyazaki. It's spelled how it sounds.

I only just read that drama a few pages back. All in all I give it an 8/10, it was extremely stupid and Secret Fawful is some sort of mentalist who seems to think that this is something other than an adventure games forum. Some sort of place where actions have consequences and the serfs are plotting against the Earls... I dunno.

I particularly liked that somebody started something called "The Mature Thread". If you thought thon wasn't going to end up as fart-joke city you're a damned fool.

Quite. I fully expected the maturity to go right out the window. However, I thought it would take at least a page. People here's immaturity never ceases to amuse me.

I want Occupy soldiers. Maybe if they dropped the whole pacifism farce they'd stop getting truncheoned.

EDIT: Derp. I read that as Occupy soldiers instead of Occupy toddlers. Right. I should sleep.

I am still making an adventure game, anyone want to help

When's it releasing, with Season 5 of Firefly? If your spelling and writing serve as indication, your coding and dialogue will need all the help you can muster.

Even better, "Japanese" is an English word. I'm not entirely certain about what the Japanese people call themselves, but the Japanese language calls itself "Nihongo".

The inebriated puzzlebox approach to courting a man.

puzzlebox: "I think I'm gonna play this emotional push-pull game for a while and then I'll go ahead and fall in love with you and we'll get married and have babies"

    puzzlebox: "Now piss off"

The japanese people call themselves Nihonjin.

What, would you prefer I be fixated on something like this?

On a side note, I AM still making Portal crap. I'm also working on a Futurama piece. I do have other things I squee about and don't mention on this forum. Like how big of a CLAMP fan I am.

And Liar Game. Which is the best thing ever.

    Hm.

    Hatoful Boyfriend...Danny Phantom...Hatoful Boyfriend...Danny Phantom.

I think Hatoful Boyfriend just barely squeaks out ahead, yeah. It has a more intellectually stimulating premise. =P
